Chap 77: Dio mansion

A green wavy curse energy began to flare up around Takichi as he open his mouth. His mind ready to said out the words, his energy spent to target specificly one person only.

A single loud booming shout blares out to everyone around; the sounds echo far and reach the ears of everyone within the radius of the emitted sound.

But to the ones that he did not target, it just came off as a high-pitched scream.

Kakoyrin covered her ear; the old Josane had to grit her teeth against this noise.

From a longer range, Josano and Polnale also heard it.

His eyes were on the water stand; there, its shape began to distort and shake. Before burying itself underground and moving incredibly fast in one direction.

'So that's where he is.' Takichi has no doubts about this now.

That stand is going to kill its own user from his curse technique.

"Heh, too easy *blergh*" He began to vomit a dangerous amount of blood in an uncontrol way.

Takichi falls down on all hands and knees, coughing up blood. A painful feeling is spread all over the inside of his throat. Bringing one hand to his mouth, he tries to cover up the blood flow but ends up losing balance and flopping down, his face lying sideways on the sand.

'Curse...energy is not enough ? No, I definitely use them all for it. Crap, it's hard to focus when going through so much pain.' It's like swallowing a bunch of razor blades, and throwing them out. Takichi wasn't sure if he could feel his mouth anymore; there was so much blood. 'I put too much in the efficiency instead of defense.' By doing so, he ensures the success of his technique at the cost of his own harm, curse speech could force people to do what the speaker wants, but the recoil of each order has to be considered. Telling someone to kill themself is without a doubt a huge order.

Enduring the pain, a hand reached over him, and Kakoyrin and the old lady went over to him.

Together, they went to the hospital to get them all treated. The hat-wearing punk lady and the French woman went there not long after; Josane and Kakoyrin only got a slight bruise, Avadol got herself stitched up just fine, and Takichi was the only one among them who got a heavy injury.

Around midday, everyone was discharge. They originally plan to question the old man but found him dead, turns out he choose suicide to not let them have any information. So the stardust crusader go Dio mansion and end this right in today.

The gate was unlocked and wide open as they neared the huge mansion, the air was gloom and dark like a warning to what may happen if they walk pass the entrance.

Takichi tugged at Josano shirts, writting on the air. He let her know about a hiding stand user, but only as a warning. He can't tell her about the whole truth of the last stand user.

Cautiously approaching the front door, they were greeted by a dark, creepy hallway. At the very end was a vague figure standing on a set of stairs.

The group instinctively heightened their guard, their senses sharpening as their eyes locked onto the figure standing before them, a presence that gave out an air of potential danger.

"Hello, intruders. I am lord Dio General, as her second in command. I will dispose of you all for her stead."

"Hey dread head, we don't mind taking you out. But do tell us where your boss is before we kill you ?"

"She is on the upper floor of the mansion, but you'll never reach her. This is your final destination." Her words ended abruptly with Josano summoning Star Platinum, swinging a left hook at her.

With a swift movement, she evaded the incoming attack, as her body passed by. Leaning back, her form dissolving into the air as if consumed by an unseen force, leaving nothing behind.

The sudden disappearance left everyone stunned, but it was far from over. At the spot where she vanished began to ripple and distort, the very fabric of the air twisting unnaturally. A swirling dark vortex emerged in her place, pulsating with an ominous energy, drawing gasps of awe and fear from them all. As the vortex expanded, a sense of foreboding filled the atmosphere.

'Sunlight, we need sunlight.' He thought hurriedly.

Looking up, the structure of this building is a multi-story mansion. The spot above them would likely be just another floor, his stand would be able to put a hole up there.

So he did the most reasonable thing he can right now. Commanding his stand, Yellow temperance stretched out to stick up to Josano's body and pull her back.

In a big writing, "Run." He tells everyone, listening to his words. They all turn tails as the looming shadow of the dark hole grows larger. Five woman, one man, and a dog ran as fast as their legs can move.

"Why are we running ?" Polnale question answered itself when the hole behind them emited a strong pulling force.

It wasn't strong enough to lift them off the ground, but enough so they knew about it. The hole the morph into a black sphere then moving at high speed straight forward not to the crusader but heading to the door.

"What.."

Before Polnale can ask any more, she saw the entirety of the encompassing vicinity that was the path of the sphere travel through was disintegrated.

Any object that stood in its path was effortlessly and precisely cut into the shape of arc belong to a sphere leave behind as the vortex passed through.

"That's is the stand ability." Kakoyrin said, "that orb can cut through anything on it's path."

'What a terrifying stand power.' They all thought as running through diffirent rooms.

Leading by Takichi, Josano thought he must already have a plan if he did realized in that moment when he pulled her back.

"What's the plan here kiddo ?" The oldest of the group ask, "my leg can't keep up forvever."

Stopping in a dimmy lit room.

The room is vast and imposing, with a high ceiling that stretches into shadow, giving the space a sense of endless height. Dim, flickering light filters through narrow slits high on the walls, casting long, restless shadows that dance across the polished floor.

His eyes looking up and down at the rows of towering stone pillars which run the length of the room. The air is cool and carries a faint echo with every sound, amplifying the vast emptiness.

Yellow temperance coiled around his arm, it's shape changing in the air to words that they'll understand.

"Break the pillar."
