Chap 78: the World

While the group stood puzzled by his words, Star Platinum was already summoned by Jojo. Sending a punch and knocking a pillar down in one punch, the stand wastes no time and moves to the next pillar and does the same thing again. While they didn't understand his plan, the group trusted him enough.

*Blitz*

Something crashed through the room, not in any loud sound.

"There!!" Kakoyrin was able to catch a moving shadow at the corner of the room.

*boom*

Again, this time, it was from the opposite corner. Avadol called her stand to light up the surrounding wall of flame.

"It didn't attack us ?" Josane questioned, noticing the weird way it moved, 'the path of that thing is unpredictable, and the stand user too, she was sucked into that thing.'

Lacking information she didn't wanna do anything too risky. For now, it seemed like Takichi had that stand figured out from just a glance, and she had to trust in whatever he was doing right now.

"It's coming!" Avadol shouts a warning, the orb after traveling all of the conner in the room then turns its way to them. "Takichi-san, please tell us you have a plan. What do we do now ?"

*Blitz*

The orb moved through Avadol's flame without any sign of damage. Suprising the fortune teller, Magician Red shoots more flame at it, but all proves to be useless as the orb is unaffected by it. Suddenly, it stopped, floating in front of the group.

'No, this thing. It has a pattern.' A sense of realization came to her as she observed the orb.

It didn't move randomly at all, as if it had a predetermined path.

'It goes from each corner and then closes in at the middle point.'

Kakoyrin uses her stand to pull herself out of the path., Polnale holding Iggy, jumps out of the way as the orb cuts a road, destroying anything that gets into contact with it.

"Weird, how can you dodge my stand ?" A dark female voice said to them.

The crusaders look on with wide eyes at the orb, at the center of it is a body. An exceptionally tall, skull-faced humanoid monster with a mask akin to an executioner's cowl with two protruding horns visible through the top of its mask.

The stand opens its the mouth, revealing the face of the woman appeared again.

Everyone is feeling an intense air weighting on them, their instinct is telling them to stay away from her.

'Danger.' This is what they feel as they look at the orb.

From the oldest of them, to Takichi himself. All have beads of sweat tricking down.

"Obviously we can, it isn't hard to dodge when your enemy is blind." The confident voice of Josano said loudly in between them.

"Hmm...so you figure me out huh?"

"Yeah, I wasn't aware at first, but the way you use that stand tells me everything I need to know."

Through a brief exchange of words, the group finds out about the abilities of her stand and her weakness when using it.

Her stand, Cream. Has the power to consume itself and Vanilla Ice, becoming an orb that obliterates anything it touches.

"She can use her power to create a void."

"Yeah, but since she can't see while inside, that'll give us a chance to drag her out and end her."

Josano already guessed that this ability has a limitation as Cream cannot see while in orb form, necessitating Vanilla Ice to momentarily reveal herself to navigate Cream's path

"I'd like to see you try!" She shouted, turning into her stand as it charged at them.

*crack*

"I'll see it alright." The girl said as she turned to the side, "Kakoyrin, prepare to use your stand."

The ceiling, which covered up this building from the night sky, was now subtaining too many structures damaged had crumbled and given up.

Sturdy stone and debris cascaded down by gravity, the sound of snapping wood beams and grinding metal reverberating through the space. The structure shuddered violently, sections of the ceiling buckling before crumbling in an unforgiving avalanche.

Any block that fell on them was destroyed by Star platinum punches. Clearing the debris from falling on them.

Letting sunlight pierce through newly formed gaps, illuminating the chaos as chunks of stone almost hit the group, crashing onto the floor with deafening thuds. The once-solid roof surrendered to gravity in a destructive crash, leaving behind a jagged, gaping hole for the blinding of the sun.

There Standing upright under the light, the stand still retains its orb form. Carved rock and debris around it, she stifled a laugh from the inside of her stand.

"Is this your great plan ? Hahahahah." Her laughter was full of pride as she looked down at them.

*Kuek!*

A sudden string of green pulls at her stand's limb. Hierophantt green captures her stand in a tight binding.

Yellow Temperance jumped on top, its slim body weighted her down.

'Are they trying to suffocate me ?' The first thing she tried to do was use her stand to escape, but the hold kept Cream from moving.

With her stand being useless in this situation, she had one thing to do. Dismiss her stand, her stand is what's bounded, so by dismissing her stand, she'll be thrown out of her dimension. A small gap but with her power given by lord Dio herself, she is more than confident in the chance of survival.

"You think you can kill me like this. By my lord's name, I won't die like this!" Her stand disappears into the air, and she herself is thrown out of the dark dimension of her stand.

"Sure you won't." Josano said.

"Huh?"

Her body, once exposed to sunlight begins to suffer immediately, skin sizzling and

smoking. The process is horrifyingly swift and visceral.

Flesh cracks peeling away to reveal the brittle, ashen bones beneath. As the sunlight intensifies, her body convulses violently, and a guttural scream escapes their lips-a sound of both agony and unearthly rage.

Their frame crumbles piece by piece into fine white ash. Fingers disintegrate, followed by limbs that collapse under their own weight. The core of their body collapses inward, and their once-piercing eyes burst into nothingness. By the time the sun has fully claimed them, the vampire is reduced to a pile of ash, scattered by the faintest breeze, leaving behind no trace of her once dark and predatory existence.

[Quest completed]

"So....she failed me as well." An sinister voice said.

(Takune's pov)

Under the Shocker building lies a lab that is hidden. Rusted metal panels line the walls, flickering emergency lights cast a sickly red glow, the last remnants of a failing power grid struggling to keep the facility alive.

The air is thick with the scent of decay, chemicals, and burnt electronics. Broken test tubes and shattered glass crunch underfoot, remnants of experiments abandoned in panic. Old monitors display static, occasionally flashing corrupted data logs filled with warnings.

'Someone tried to make a run here.' he thought.

Takune, in his rider form, has gone down here in search of whatever could prove useful to him. That was all for nothing because of the battle above, it has destroyed everything down here.

There is so much equipment he can use and so much data he can take. All were blown or damaged beyond repair. So he wasn't able to take anything than his cyclone bike that is stored in his inventory right now.

Scattered research notes and half-burnt documents hint at the lab’s purpose—genetic experiments, bioweapons, or attempts to elevate human power in this world. Some files mention names, crossed out violently, as if to erase them from history. While he doesn't want to became evil like this organization, the data would be valuable to him.

*sigh*

He breathed out a disappointed sigh, the trip was a failure for Takune. He walks the half-collapse base as a water tank and electric wire strew around. The sparks does nothing to him what so ever, This amount of energy won't be enough to hurt him.

"I'm going to check this last tunnel before leaving then."
