Chap 52: Strength
As Jojo take the fight to Anubis, the older josane is searching through the rooms.
She was wondering what was wrong; it made no sense to as to why and how did the ship has the power to move on it's own. Unless the whole ship is a stand.
'How terrifying, a stand this big would require an immense amount of power.' That means this stand user is also in charge of crashing into their ship.
Jumping over a spike trap, she knew she was heading the righg way. Ever since the older jojo began chasing the seccond stand user, everything in the ship started to attack her.
No, it is the entire ship that was out to get her. Wall turning to spike, ceilling dropping down, corridors moves and wiggle like a living death trap. As she got closer, the intensity of each attack only increase.
Josano kept on running, and as she pass by a hallway. Her gaze landed on an abnormal door that looked like it doesn't belong.
'Bingo.'
Kicking the door down, she jump right in. Quickly, she shifted her attention to the other in this room.
A orangutan wearing a captain hat, it showed a suprised expresion watching the gray haired woman who barged in with next to no injury.
"Heh, so. This whole time, we're in a chicken chase with a monkey ? And a ugly one at that."
Anger, that is what the orangutan feel when she utter those words. Such rudeness, it can't let this slide.
Screaming, it intent to make the floor sink Josane down and crush her in a slow and painfull death. That is her vengeance.
"Old tricks like this won't work on me twice." Sharp vines shot out like a web and Josane pull herself up in the air. Swinging down, she deliver a kicks to the ape's face and crash down into the floor.
*krush*
Sound of bone breaking, and blood splatter cover her feet.
"This circus act is over."
---------
"You heard that, Avadol."
"What is it polnale ? We almost to the controller to remove the cable."
"Hmmm, i can' help but feels something is off putting about the place."
"That i can agree, you would expect a large crew to opperate on such a vessel but we have yet to see anyone."
It is strange indeed, the two of them have been walking for quite a while now. But still no one in sight, actually there is not a single person could be seen on the deck.
"This place is starting to creep me out, let's hurry up and get out of here." Polnale said, her steps is getting faster unconsciously.
"Polnale wait!" Avadol quickly reach out and pull Polnale back abruptly.
"Wa-"
*crash*
One of the hanging container dropped down on the spot she was standing in. Shocking both woman.
"Tch, i miss huh." Hearing a small murmur, Avadol turn to see a small shadow of someone on the crane from which held the giant container.
"magician red!" A half naked woman with a bird head and leg apeared to Avadol call.
Spewing a wave of flame to the running figure, the targeted woman jump down dogding flame as she roll around mid-air, landing down on one stack of containers not far from them with a resounding loud thud.
"Quite the stand you have there. unfortunately, none are matching my might." Standing high over them, Avadol and Polnale see an strange energy covered her body.
It resemble an suit of armor of a roman warrior, equipped on both her hands is a round shield and a short swords.
"My stand, Perseus is not only the best in defense, it is also the best on the offense." She proudly proclaim. Jumping down spear first at the two.
"I got this. Silver chariot! " coming to Polnale call, an armored stand show up.
The stand have a knightly appearance, shinny medieval armor, holding one rapier in her right hand as the left hand is behind her back.
Avadol watch as the two began exchanging attacks. Rapid succession of stabs and slashes coming from Polnale's stand, they hit Perseus shield leaving not a single scratch.
She return with spear jabs, a multitude of them coming like rain fall at Ponale. All was quickly parried out of the way.
"Ha, i guess that is all you can do. Your skill is suppar, and your speed is terrible. You can never stab me at such speed, speed is my stand forte." Silver chariot slashes some more and more, with her speed increasing to the point it created afterimage of her strikes on Perseus's shield.
"And as i have told you. Your attack is not getting through. Now watch this." She jumped back to create distant between them. Then pulled the spear far behind her before throwing it.
"You call that a throw, i can dogde it in my sleep." Seeing the snail pace the spear is moving at, Polnale chuckles at it, she easily move to the side as thee spear pass by.
But to her suprise, the head of the spear began to bend and re direct it's own trajectory at Polnale.
""What ?"" They both got caught by suprise.
"Hahahhahahha. I told you, didn't i ? My stand is the best, it doesn't matter if it's defense or attack. I am the best."
below Polnale feet is engulf in flame, her body is thurst into the air by a rising pole of fire.
"Avadol !"
"Just keep on moving, if you keep moving then the spear can't hit you. I'll deal with her." Avadol gave her friend a word of advice before facing the enemy.
When Polnale got her foot on the ground again, she immediately run away from the spear that is chasing her.
"Hehehe, you think there's a range for my weapon ? Not at all, it will keep chasing her until her demised. And there's no hiding from it either, my spear can pierce any object." Perseus openly taunt Avadol with a arrogant smirk.
"An unstoppable spear, so am i correct to asume that shield on your hand is an impenetrable shield ?"
"Yes, indeed it is. I have the best tool for a stand user, an unstoppable spear and an impenetrable shield. "
"We shall see about that."
