Chap 51: Anubis
Facing the enemy Josano show no sign of fear, only determination through her observing eyes.
"Heh, i like that eye of yours. Let's cut it out." Anubis draws a sword from her hip, showing some flashly moves in front of jojo.
Jumping forward, she brings both hands to her blade and raises it in an overhead strike stance. Jojo jump to the side, expecting a vertical downward slash. But as she brings her sword down, the trajectory of her blade fluidly changes into a horizontal slash, heading toward the young jojo head at a near-imperceptible speed.
But with Jojo high concentrate, she precisly dodge out of the way. Letting Star plantium land a gut wrenching punch into her.
Anubis body flung upward, hitting the ceilling and landed down to another punch from Jojo stand coming to the side of her head.
"Yare yare, you might need to get someone to check on that." Jojo said, fixing her hat.
To her suprise, the woman rise up with seemingly no problem.
'!?' Alarm begin to blare in jojo head, as the woman got up fully. She understand why that is the case. The mask that covered Anubis face was torn from the last punch, revealing a face that din't belong to a human.
Metal, it was like a chunk of metal that tries to copy a human appearance through a horrible make up tutorial video.
"What's the matter ? You look like you saw a ghost." Anubis smile once her cover was blown, "to be honest, i din't like this body either. But hey, there is a upside to not being human. For example, any damaged you deal to me won't hurt even a bit." The dent in her face and body is already molding to it's original form.
"So, you're tough punching bag. I guess my hand is going to need a bit of ice after this."
"Heh, we'll see about that. Take this!" She hissed and lunged at jojo.
Her blade move with even more speed this time, suprised even Josano.
*swishh*
The wall behind her was slice mutilple time, she managed to roll over as the next slashes aim at her again. With even more speed behind the slashs.
'!?' Turning around, Josano was stunted. The metal floor bent around josano ankle, locking her in place.
"You're dead meat !" Another vertical slash came down on Josano head.
*slam*
Josano call her stand, it grab a hold of a metal door and rip it off it's hinged and thrown it to Anubis.
It slamed into Anubis body, crashing her body between a wall and the door. Judging from the thickness of it and the force she thrown it at, even if that thing wasn't human. It would take a great deal of time for it to get out.
"That should buy me some time." She said, Star plantium ripping the floor apart, freeing Josano.
With ample time to think, her mind run as to figure out a solution. Through out their clash, she realize that Anubis stand power isn't coming from her body, so that means it must be something else that is the stand.
*strik* the blade puncture the door, Anubis blade cut through the iron trap around her body.
"Hehehe, you have your fun yet. Jojo, because i will kill you now."
"Good grief, give it a rest will you. All this time you keep saying kill this, kill that, but all i seen is your cheap knife work." Jojo stood tall her stance relaxed but keeping a sharp eyes with a mix of disdain to her. A faint smirk on her lips was half triumph, half amusement.
"You bitch, i'll make sure this would be the final attack. No one has ever beaten me, NO ONE. YOU HEARD ME! " Angrily, Anubis came forward. Her blade raise high again. But this would be the fastest slash that came from her so far, and it would indeed be the last time she will be able to cut at Josano.
In a sparkle of lights, a pair of purple hands shot forward, catching the blade mid-air as Star Platinum slammed her palms together, halting the weapon's motion with sheer force.
"ORRRRHHHHH!!" Star plantium let out a war cry as the stand exerting more force through her palm, veins bulging against the metal.
"Wait a minute, don't tell me-" the metal of the blade began to creak and groan.
Then in one explosive twist of the stand's wirst, the sword snaps in two. Causing sparks fly off, it's owner staggering backward in disbelief, eyes wide.
"Hmph! You really thought your sword could cut through me? Too bad for you... Breaking your blade was just the beginning. A sword is only as strong as the will of its user... and yours? Pathetic!" Josano said coldly, her floating stand beside her charging in for a barrage of fist.
"ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!!!"
Each of her punch sent a piece of her body flying off, it din't matter if she was made of metal. Star plantium punches tore through her body, with each violent hit another piece got blown off.
The force coming from the continuous punches sent her back pressed deeply into the wall behind and when that wall can't handle it her body was sent through another one, and the one after that, loosing pieces of itself as it was torn off from the savage punches jojo delivered. Josano din't stop her attacks until what's left is only a few tiny piece of scrap iron that was smaller than a nail.
Her smirk now faded, replaced by a cold, unreadable expression as she turned on her heel, coat billowing slightly with the movement. "Pathetic." The word hung in the air, final and damning, as Jojo walked away without looking back. Leaving the stand to it's demise.
