Chap 111: new head of Zennin
He rode inside a black limousine, sitting in the most luxurious and comfortable seat money can buy.
Wearing a set of traditional clothing, his Haori jacket is black with green accents. Under is a simple white kimono shirt and pants. His long hair tied neatly in a black band that made him look more charming.
Knowing he's going to the most sexist family in the world of Jujutsu, Takumi tried to make himself look somewhat presentable for the people he's going to be seeing.
He arrived at the meeting point, which was a mutual place for gathering. A tall old structure that has a tea house sign on the front door, surrounded by a forest. Truly, only the big three families can afford a place like this. Opening the door for him, a servant led him through the building to the top floor.
*slide*
The door to the traditional Japanese-style room opened. Naobita and the majority of the elders of the Zennin are here. Takumi felt the heavy pressure of the room before he even entered.
Entering, he bowed respectfully to everyone. A voice introduced him to everyone. His old teacher sat in the middle of the two sides, but out of the line of sight.
"Cut the long-winded words and get straight to the point. You told us there is this new user of the ten shadows, where is she ?" Ogla, one of the elders, spoke up.
"HE is already here." Raising his head to face them, Takumi's voice poured over them like a cold shower. Not another words was spoken when the room erupted in anger and distain at Takumi for even dared to talk.
"What kind of bad joke is this ?"
"Who is this man ? Where is your owner ?"
"Wasting our time on such an insignificant man."
"...."
The curses kept coming, in angry and contemptuous tones, it was clear that all these women did not acknowledge his existence and brushed his words aside. Takumi didn't even get a chance to speak as the woman kept on shouting.
Through all of it, Naobita Zennin, the woman, only had a cold gaze at him. His teacher could only look from a distance. She couldn't speak for him now. If he wanted to convince them, then he must do so with his power.
His eyes match hers directly, and through the loud sound of commotion. A face that show he is completely calm, his hands were raised.
"With this sacred treasure..."
All the voices stopped immediately, all eyes landed on Takumi's posture. His cursed energy pours out in waves, crushing anything in his way. They rise as a tsunami, ready to crash into everyone.
All the old heads were about to activate their curse technique, but Naobita held them back. One hand in the air told them in a order, even when they didn't like it, reluctantly, all back down with their hair standing on end.
"I think that's enough proof." Naobita spoke to him, with a bit of nervousness behind it.
The energy showed here and the way every shadow changes and bends around Takumi when he began to chant showed them enough.
She obviously didn't expect the ten shadows technique; the Zennin family jewel could be in the hands of a man.
"I summon..." his voice never halted. Takumi's face remained the same as he continued to chant.
"Hey, we get it. You don't need to...."
'This man is crazy, he is really trying to kill us all.' Her thoughts went right to one conclusion: this guy is trying to kill himself and them all.
She knew what this chant meant and what it was used for. The ten strongest Shikigami, but no one has ever managed to tame them.
Naobita figures disappear from sight, moving at super sound speed. She was right in front of Takumi's face when the chant finished.
"Divergent sila divine general mahoraga."
A pale, muscular hand reached out from Takumi's shadow, filling Naobita's vision. Her face was held in the grasp of Mahoraga.
*shatter*
*crash*
The ground rumble, the glass in the room cracked at her presence, the whole building shook. In this room, towering on the man's side is a being so powerful, it made the strongest grade one look like a baby in her palm.
Like right now.
"Let go, Mahoraga." To their shock and absolute surprise. She followed his command, releasing Naobita's head and dropping her on her knees.
The clan heads, for her part, were quite calm when she came in direct contact with the strongest Shikigami and still held a poker face through it all. Or she tried.
Her eyes went wide, switching from Takumi to Mahoraga a couple times. Finally settling down when she had seen enough.
For these sexist sorceresses who were too up in their heads to look for anything other than Cursed Energy, the sight of Mahoraga tamed by a man broke everything they knew.
Everyone in the room, besides Takumi himself, is in utter disbelief at the event that had just happened; they were shocked, scared, and shocked again.
A man, of all the people in the world.
"What do you want ?"
"The position as the head of the Zennin."
"Deal."
There was no dispute, for who can argue with the holder of the ten shadows user? It was their blood and tradition. And blood is thickest bond.
"In return, we need you to provide us with something else."
Of course, they would. He knew what they wanted before they asked it of him.
"Let me guess, I'm going to have to foster a child for the clan, right ?"
It was so blatant, Takumi was genuinely shocked at how fast the head of the clan offered up her firstborn as a bargaining chip.
Naoya Zennin, barely reaching her teenage years at only thirteen at the time. Not only her, but many other elder tried to shove their way into coercing him as well.
Takumi was a relatively handsome man, by this world's standard. The only thing they disliked was the way his muscles made him look too "girly" and his long hair.
But that didn't stop those old wrinkly woman from trying, from how it was best to let them carry his seed, using their own child or themself to make him produce another heir. He felt revolted at their action.
So he told them all of his relationship with the one who is the black sheep in the Zennin clan, of his child who also has the same technique.
By the end, no one even looked at him directly in the eyes. All have witnessed, they are now forced to believe even if they don't want to.
The Zennin have a new clan leader, and for the first time since the dawn of Jujutsu history. It would be a man.
