Chap 112: small stories
"That wasn't the plan you told me."
"Are you angry ?"
"Hahahahahhaha.....angry ? Not a single bit, those bitches get what they deserve. I haven't seen their faces turn like that in ages."
"It was not what I had planned, originally. I was only trying to make my daughter the next heir of the Zennin." Riding back, Takumi sat with his old teacher. Eyes fixated on the scenery by the window than facing her.
"I see, then what's changed your mind ?"
"Maybe everything.....and nothing at all."
The old woman looked at him with a puzzled expression. She couldn't tell what he was thinking inside that head of his.
"Now with that out of the way, what are you going to do next ? The higher-ups might not approve of it."
While the council can't control what goes in each family, but in the bigger picture. Their authority still let them ran most of the current system and that include many things like the outside perception to other families. His position might be in danger if they can convince the other two families to remove him.
But the Zennin won't let him walk away, or his child to be in any danger. That should buy enough time for him to set up all the plan in motion.
"The higher up won't be much of a trouble for long, they care about one thing and one thing alone."
Power
Gojo have such power, and he was untouchable. With Ten shadows, it is only a matter of time for Takumi, except he won't be untouchable, he'll flip the table and replace them with his own cards.
--------------
"Honey, I'm back~" Swinging open the front door, Takumi carries with him a bag full of groceries.
"Hey, let me help." She was already beside him, her unnoticed movement allowed her to go where and when she wanted.
Sometimes that can be charming, other times he has a trouble telling if he was being spied on or not. No matter how much love he showed her or how many times he confirmed to her that he loves her.
"Thanks, where Megumi ?"
"Sleeping in the crib, I fed her just earlier, so she'll go out for a bit." She said, finish putting the last bag away.
Having a family is so much harder than it looks. You have to feed the baby and clean it, which is at least three times per day. Luckily, being a superpower human and a soccerer made it easier.
One week since Tojiko returned from the hospital, Takumi has done most of the cleaning and Tojiko stayed in bed looking after Megumi.
For her, it's been incredibly boring and messy trying to take care of this baby. Constant crying noise and changing diapers are tiring her out, and all of it happened in one day. So anytime Megumi was sleeping, she would take it as a window to rest.
The two enter the kitchen to make dinner. Takumi turns on the stove, and Tojiko goes to set up the plate.
Tojiko's skills with the knife automatically made everything much smoother as they finished cooking, and all they had to do was wait.
It wasn't anything special, fried rice and eggs, curry and salmon, and some veggie stew.
Buzzing around Takumi, Tojiko has her arm under and around his waist. Whispering words into his ear, at some point, she nibbled at his neck.
"Hey, now is not the time."
"There will always be time." She went for a kiss, placing multiple smooches at his neck moving them up to his lips.
Takumi didn't fight it, he leaned toward her face, letting their lip make contact. Developing into a kissing session. Until a loud beeping interrupted the moment.
*Beep* *Beep*
*Beep* *Beep*
*Beep* *Beep*
*Beep* *Beep*
"Oh shit!" Hurrily pulling away, Takumi's attention was back onto the burnt salmon. "Damn it."
And a second sound came, of a baby crying.
"Fuck me." The burly Zennin cursed under her breath, "i got it." Moving in a blur and disappearing into the hallway.
------------
At the Zennin estate.
Naobita walked back into her home, well was her home. Soon this entire part of the estate will belong to that boy. Her place will most likely drop down to secondary, in the worst case. Her sister will probably try to fight her for it.
Chilly wind flowed through the open window and filled the room. She looked into the starry skies filled with stars.
"Mother!" An energetic voice of a young girl calls out, "Mother, mother, mother." Naoya Zennin entered the room with a beaming smile.
"I heard we found someone has the family technique." Her eyes shine. "Is it true ? That person has the ten shadows."
Naobita's brow furrowed. 'Who told her ?'
"Yes, we did." Her confirmation made the little child quite happy.
Naobita eyed one of the servants, "master Naoya, dinner is soon to be ready."
"You go first, i'll be there in a minute." The girl nodded before being led to another room.
She thought about what the future holds for this family.
------------
"Hmmm~hmm~" down in her underground lab, Senjaku is busy in multiple scrolls of research, humming a tune of a long forgotten song.
"You seemed happy, something is getting your mood up ?"
"Oh, hey there." She turns with her face that has a large grin. "Didn't see you there, Sojo, Hana!"
"I'm in the middle of my work. Could you just leave the new materials over there, please?"
Grumbling, the volcano curse spirit threw a box at one corner of the room. It shakes and rumbles for a bit before settling down.
"I am on the verge of a breakthrough. Soon, my creation will be born. My lovely-"
"Yeah, yeah, spare us your monologue. Just tell us where the other fingers are."
"You don't understand. Just when I thought my work was done. I just got a new inspiration, these devils...I can make a new.....even more powerful vessel with this."
The two curses just stand there; they've heard it all for a while now. For them, it doesn't matter what Senjaku made so long as they can use it for their own agenda.
"Oh, yeah, the next finger is located in Africa." She took out a map from one table drawer and handed it to the two curse spirits.
"And by the way, if you come across any other curse spirit. Why not recruit them into our cause ?" She smirked, "I'm sure, it will help for the sake of curse spirits."

Elsewhere, Takichi and Takune are on the way back from the quest in another universe.
One has just become an Immortal, he climbed out of his flesh cocoon, bathing in the radiating light. Not a single burn on his perfect pale white skin.
One has successfully beaten an alien invasion and brought back with him their technology. Standing in the gateway, both of them returned to the world of JJK.
