The cured digits

[Yuito's POV]

(The UFC has officially announced the date for the title match between the undisputed champion Tyrone Woodley and the rising star Yuito Fujita. After much consideration from the team and the fighters themselves, the fight would take place roughly between April and May, 2019)

"FUCK!!"

"Honey, what do I say about curing at the dinner table?"

"Oops. sorry." I said to Sumire while I raged in my mind at the absolute bullshit that was my next match.

At first, they said two months and then half a year, and now I have to wait a whole fucking year for my fight? Unbelievable.

Although I would still be the youngest UFC champion if I win this, every time wasted will make my record easier to beat by the next generation.

I really wanted to fight soon, so that even if I ended up losing - which I highly doubt -  I would have enough time to bounce back after a shounen training.

But what can I do? He is the champion and I am the challenger. Tyrone could not be blamed either as he had everything to lose and I had everything to gain.

At the very least, he should want to make as much money as possible in the face of a possible defeat. Title fights were complicated like that.

"What's wrong?" Marin asked me from her seat as we were all sitting around the dinner table, having breakfast.

Komi elegantly tugged her hair on her ear as she listened as well. She put the dumplings Sumire had made in her mouth and even without trying, she made that action beautiful.

"The fight. They postponed it again. It will happen in May next year." I said to which Marin nodded.

"That's not too bad right?"

"It isn't. I am just spoiled and entitled." I admitted with a straight face while stuffing my face with a dumpling.

I called it dumplings but it was actually a little different from that. It was called Gyoza and it was rectangular instead of sphere-like dumplings.

It was a Japanese dumpling.

"Well, I think it's great news. Then you would be able to face your final exams before the fight." Sumire added her piece as she looked at the three of us with a warm smile that of a mother's.

I allowed my expression to be influenced by my current feelings as I sighed. I guess if we look at it that way, it is true.

One thing that should be mentioned is that I was at the second of my class now, just behind Komi in the exams.

Since I did not need to do rigorous training anymore, and since I was living with Marin, I have focused more on studying.

And my intelligence stats were enough for me to top the class but I did not want to surpass Komi who worked hard every day.

I did not mind surpassing or shitting on people's effort due to the absolute cheat that I am but I did not want to do that to Komi. I would feel guilty.

Also, if I got higher marks than her, she wouldn't have a reason to help me in my studies and I know she felt good when she thought she could be helpful like that. I did not want to rob her of that feeling.

"Hmm?" Komi suddenly let out a sound and I could see a question mark above her head. She turned to me with a tilt of her head.

"Where's Kurumi?" She asked in her beautiful voice which was like a cool spring in summer. Her voice was soft but we all heard it, as if the world quieted down whenever she spoke.

The three girls turned to Kurumi's seat and indeed, she was absent.

I leaned back on my chair and looked below the table and I caught the sight of Kurumi. She was in her wolf form and her head was buried between my thighs.

Her snout was fixed on my crotch.

'She is really down bad.' I shook my head with a helpless smile

She had been in an absolute frenzy this mating season. It was even worse than last year and I had to take her for a walk around six times a day. Which was nothing but us going to a hotel or someplace private and fucking each other like wild animals.

"She's with me." I said and the girls acknowledged it.

We finished our breakfast quickly and after that, the three of us headed out of the house. Global superstar or model, we still have schools to attend.

We were in our second year.

The way to school was more peaceful than one would expect as there were no one who stopped to stare at us or take photos.

People adapt. And after a couple of months, they were not bothered by my presence anymore and the press stopped following us after I posted a video about how they disturbed my life.

My fans were extremely understanding and now, if someone posts pictures of me or my girls in uniforms, the comments are filled with hate comments and dislikes.

So it was peaceful.

Komi was on my right and Marin on my left as we walked towards school.

[After School]

"Ahh, what am I doing?" I said to myself while sprinting at insane speed towards a certain ice cream shop which was Komi and Marin's favourite ice cream shop.

It was going to be the last day that they opened because of the upcoming winter, nobody wanted ice cream during winter so it was not worth it for them to keep the shop running since they sell only ice creams.

Now here I am, running like a fool so that I do not miss their opening time. Komi and Marin mentioned how they were upset that it was closing, so like the great boyfriend that I am, I was determined to get them a whole lot one last time before it closed.

I could even buy all of them out, they were ice creams, they don't spoil, right?

Now one might ask why I was going so far and even bothering myself with such small things, the answer lies in the fact that my girlfriends were absolutely adorable and I wanted to spoil them.

Reading the chapters of their perspective in 'A Life with the Author'  had become a routine and one that always never filed to give me diabetes.

I couldn't help myself from spoiling them.

I told them to go ahead and go home while I was running here to make sure I bought the ice creams but still managed to catch up to them before they reached home.

I was running at a speed that far surpassed the world record for sprinting, setting new limits, and redefined what the human legs were capable of.

I went into the shop and talked to the owner. I bought all of the ice creams they had and asked them to deliver them to my house.

They were so happy about the purchase that they told me they would deliver it for free.

I thanked them took three ice creams and told them to deliver the rest. I also made payment in advance with my card and ran out of the shop again.

Like I said, I wanted to catch up with the girls again to give them their ice cream.

But as I was about to run off into the distance, my eyes caught a pretty girl who had a very lewd body that was beyond her age.

At first, it was just a quick manly glace, born out of the natural instinct of men to stare at a pretty lady, which for the record was boosted by my incubus instinct.

But then that quick glance turned into a gaze, and then to a stare.

And then I never looked away.

She had twin tails which were braided in a messy way that shows she braided it all by herself. She wore a middle school uniform which was all crooked and had stitch marks and was definitely too big for her.

If one were observant, one would be able to conclude that she bought her uniform years ago and with a size too big for her to accommodate her growth in the coming years. By that one could tell she must be poor or just extremely cheap.

Her spectacle was ugly with a thick frame that did not go well with her small head at all. And her lenses were of high power, it was thick and made her eyes look very small through them.

The dark circles around her eyes did not help. The only saving grace was her beautiful eyes and eyelashes.

But even with all those problems, all those flaws, her beauty could not be hidden if you look at her carefully.

Her natural beauty shines through all of those imperfections like a diamond glittering amongst mud.

Her beauty was a hidden gem.

There was the biggest frown on her face and I could see small droplets of tears beside her eyes. I looked towards where she was looking at and noticed students - likely her classmates - hanging around in the outdoor dining tables of the shop, each had ice creams in hand.

Something about the scene and the girl herself felt familiar in the beginning, yet I could not put a finger on how exactly I knew her.

It was like my brain was stopping a bad memory from surfacing.

But that fog was blown away by a single sentence from the author.
