Battle of Multiverse Part 8
As the spirit took a deep breath and released a powerful gust of wind, that gust turned into an enormous bullet-shaped wind.
It marched towards Nami at an extraordinary speed, making it impossible to dodge, especially with its massive size.
But Nami had Observation Haki.
The moment Yuno made his move, her Observation Haki was already ringing in her mind.
Although Nami didn’t have that much mastery and control over Armament Haki, her Observation Haki was quite strong.
As she captured the attack using her Observation Haki, she immediately retaliated using one of her own attacks.
[Lightning Dragon Tempo]
She spun her baton several times above her head and swung it down, releasing a powerful blast of lightning.
The lightning bolt slowly took the shape of a dragon’s head and collided with the bullet-shaped wind.
Bang!
The collision was so strong that it caused a massive explosion in the middle. The ground broke, and the wind scattered.
The lightning rained down, and a powerful wind blew everywhere.
Their attacks equated each other’s damage, but the collision caused a massive impact, enough to create a large crater between them.
‘Thankfully, I asked Sanji to put a massive amount of lightning into the baton storage unit; I wouldn’t be able to continue fighting.’
Nami thought to herself.
‘I understand.’
Yuno closed his eyes for a moment, and suddenly a fierce wind blew next to him.
He took a deep breath.
[Wind Creation Magic]
[Swift White Hawk]
As soon as he released this magic, he rushed to the other side and continued releasing another magic.
[Wind Creation Magic]
[Wind Blade Shower]
Once again, he went to another of her sides and released another magic.
[Tornado Fang]
[Tornado Fang]
As he released the second tornado fang from the other side, he left her with no escape route.
But it wasn’t enough.
How could it be? He took so much damage, wasted so much mana, just to find the limits of her defenses and range.
Now was the perfect time to defeat her, and he wasn’t just going to rely on these basic spells.
Yes, basic! In his eyes, these weren’t strong spells.
There was only one spell that he could call strong. It was also the spell that he hadn’t performed yet.
[Spirit Dive]
As he released that spell, the wind spirit began to merge with him, creating a large section of wind around him.
Half a crown appeared on his head, and a large wing appeared behind him.
As his body changed, he instantly flew above her and pointed his palm towards her.
[Spirit Storm]
Concentrating a large amount of mana into his palm, he channeled it into a massive vortex of wind that fell towards Nami.
At this moment, Nami’s escape routes were all blocked.
[Armament Haki]
[Hardening]
In the face of despair, Nami didn’t give up. She couldn’t give up, especially since she was most excited to find Liam.
She also realized that Yuno was checking her limits. She could either focus on destroying one of the attacks or let the other land on her.
Or, she could focus all of her energy into Armament Haki and coat her entire body with it.
Although it was a bit of a stretch for someone of her level to do this, she had no choice but to break her limits.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
Several attacks landed on her.
The first one was the wind hawk, followed by several wind blades, then two massive tornadoes, and finally a powerful blast of wind.
And Nami was at the center of these attacks, unable to counter, unable to dodge.
As dust rose and settled, Yuno saw a tragic figure underneath him.
Nami was covered in blood, bleeding from every part of her body, but she was still standing, and her eyes were still open.
And, more importantly, she was holding the baton in her hand and pointing it towards Yuno.
‘Impossible!’
For a moment, Yuno couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Even the powerful magic user wouldn’t be able to block these attacks.
Although Nami didn’t successfully block them, she was still moving. How could it not shock Yuno?
‘What kind of monster is she? Is she even a human?’
His forehead was covered in sweat.
‘My mana is already running low. I can only use Reinforcement Magic to increase my speed and dodge her attack.’
But just when he was about to use his Reinforcement Magic, a metal blob suddenly appeared in front of him.
Before he could even react, the metal blob turned into a thin wire and wrapped around him, completely restricting his hands.
“Now, Nami!”
‘Thanks, Usopp!’
Nami thanked him in her head as she controlled a large amount of hot and cold clouds above Yuno.
As she merged them, she created a large number of thunderbolt clouds and merged them, creating one massive cloud.
Of course, this wasn’t enough.
‘No, I haven’t surpassed my limits. I have not defeated Asta. I won’t be defeated here.’
[Heavenly Wind Ark]
Conjuring as much wind magic as he could, Yuno created a spiraling wind platform beneath him.
But before he could even run away, a massive lightning bolt flashed from the ground.
It was coming from Nami’s baton, and it was the strongest lightning bolt she could release using this baton.
Bang!
The lightning bolt tore through the wind ark and struck Yuno with an immense force, destroying his mana skin.
Of course, it wasn’t enough.
But that wasn’t a problem because the next attack was coming from above.
[Lightning Storm]
As the lightning crackled underneath the cloud, it burst down like heavy rain, creating a nearly ten-meter-thick lightning bolt.
Bang!
The lightning bolt was so massive and powerful that it destroyed Yuno’s body mid-air while falling to the ground.
The lightning kept hitting the ground until it created a massive hole in the ground.
“Finally!”
Nami dropped the baton from her hand and fell to the ground, covered in blood.
“Nami!”
