Battle of Multiverse Part 9
"Stupid man, give up! You can't defeat this noble lady."
Noelle Silva moved her hair as she spoke with a proud tone.
"You know what? I hate that tone of yours."
Franky couldn't help but snort angrily. This kind of tone reminded him of Spandam, the man who caused the death of his teacher.
He raised both of his hands, and suddenly a pipe appeared in his palms.
[Fancy Laser]
A large number of light particles gathered in his palm before shooting towards Noelle.
Noelle waved her wand and chanted.
[Creation Magic]
[Sea Dragon Nest]
A large amount of water started gathering around Noelle, creating a vast dome of spiraling water around her.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
When those lasers struck the water dome, they were either absorbed or destroyed.
Seeing his attack doing nothing, Franky put away his laser while Noelle immediately took advantage of it and conjured several water balls around her.
[Sea Dragon's Waterball]
As she launched these water balls towards Franky, she started channeling more of her mana into the Sea Dragon Nest.
These water balls were just decoys to launch a stronger attack, but she knew that if her attack was dodged, she would waste a lot of mana.
But this was where Yuno shone better than Noelle.
While her idea was good, it was also very easy to see through, especially for someone with Observation Haki.
Unlike Yuno, she didn't even try to find the limits of Franky's abilities; instead decided to launch an offensive attack without much hesitation.
Franky coated his fist with Armament Haki. Although it wasn't as strong as other members of the crew, he had managed to reach hardening.
That's only because he joined a bit late.
Otherwise, his Haki would've been stronger than Nami's.
Splash! Splash!
With two punches, he broke all of those water balls. As the water splashed over him, Franky immediately jumped to the side.
[Creation Magic]
[Sea Dragon Roar]
At this moment, a massive water dragon's head rushed towards him.
Its speed was impressive, but Franky had already seen it coming with his Observation Haki.
But he underestimated the range and capabilities of this attack, as it didn't disperse in mid-air, instead chasing after Franky.
'Damn it! Here goes nothing!'
[Armament Hardening]
[Steam Rush- Strong Right]
As he activated his Armament Haki, Franky also activated a steam inside his right arm that suddenly increased the force of his arm.
He had recently completed this experiment using the research materials he got from Vegapunk.
He used this move by burning cola to create an impressive steam inside his right arm.
Bang!
He punched the head of the sea dragon, and its power was enough to momentarily stop the sea dragon's pace.
Franky instantly got under the head of the sea dragon before it could even move. Using his Armament Haki, he somehow managed to hold the water in place.
It was also thanks to the mana that created it; otherwise, Franky's finger would've pierced through the surface of the water instead of gripping it.
[General Suplex]
Franky raised the sea dragon's head and smashed it into its body, forcefully breaking it apart.
"What?"
Noelle shouted in shock, completely forgetting to launch another attack to kill Franky.
If she had done it, Franky wouldn't have time to react. And she had more than enough mana to use another Sea Dragon Roar.
Unfortunately, she missed her opportunity, and Franky immediately took advantage of it.
He rushed towards Noelle before she could react and launched his left arm.
[Strong Left]
His hand suddenly came out, leaving behind a small chain as it dashed towards Noelle and struck her on the chest.
Because Noelle had used Sea Dragon Roar, she had to stop using the Sea Dragon Nest, considering the amount of mana it cost.
But this also gave Franky a perfect chance to land a direct hit on her.
As Noelle flew back, she immediately got up and wiped away the blood from the corner of her mouth.
[Water Canon]
She waved her hand and released a sharp jet of pressured water towards Franky, forcing him to change his direction while moving away.
'Wow! Her body looks so weak, but she can take my Strong Left without much damage.'
'Is she like Nami and Robin? Weak from outside and strong from inside.'
Franky thought to himself as he rolled a few times and jumped to his feet.
He realized winning against Noelle required a strategic hit that was powerful enough to destroy her body.
'Then, I can only rely on my lasers, but they take quite some time to charge. I need to find a way to distract her.'
'Unfortunately, my Armament Haki is quite low; otherwise I would've attacked her from a distance using my Strong Left.'
Franky thought to himself as he prepared a strategy in his mind.
This time, Noelle was also thinking. After all, she realized she couldn't take down Franky with just a single attack.
More importantly, unlike Franky, she relied on her mana and reinforcement magic to withstand the previous blow.
If she exhausts her mana before landing a decisive blow, she would be left hopeless.
'He seems to have some sort of perception ability. He can also make his fist stronger, and his body looks a bit inhumane.'
'But his most powerful ability till now would be his lasers. Without Sea Dragon Nest, I wouldn't be able to block them.'
'Fortunately, they take some time to charge, and I still have enough mana to launch Sea Dragon Nest for ten seconds and a Sea Dragon Roar.'
'So, how can I use this to my advantage?'
She thought for a moment.
While both were thinking, they didn't launch any sort of sneak attack. After Franky came up with a perfect idea, he attacked first.
He ran towards her, coating his right hand in Armament Haki as he tried to punch her.
[Water Barrier]
Since it wasn't the laser, Noelle used a different magic to create a rectangular barrier in front of her.
Because of this, Franky's attack didn't manage to reach her.
Bang!
The water barrier trembled, but it managed to withstand the full force of Franky's attack.
Seeing this, Franky instantly increased his speed and appeared behind her.
If not for her enhanced senses after her previous battle, Noelle would've died at this moment.
But she still managed to create another water barrier on time before Franky's fist reached her face.
Bang!
This time, Noelle didn't stop releasing her mana and immediately increased the output on the water barrier, turning it into a large-sized dome.
[Creation Magic]
[Sea Dragon Nest]
"It's over, maggot!"
Noelle snorted as she channeled all of her mana into her wand and transmitted it into the dome.
'Damn it! I fell into her traps.'
Franky saw what she was about to do, but he didn't have any other abilities to destroy this dome.
[Creation Magic]
[Sea Dragon Roar]
A massive dragon head appeared inside the dome and charged straight towards Franky.
'I can't dodge this.'
Franky realized the problem, but he didn't give up. He channeled as much Armament Haki as he could over his body, but it wasn't enough to cover him.
'I will take it as a man.'
[Full Body Defense]
Suddenly, Franky's chest cranked as a few times before it shone with a silver luster as the sea dragon's head crashed into his body.
Bang!
The power of the sea dragon's roar was so strong that it literally broke Franky outside the dome and kept pushing him away while destroying his chest.
Thud!
Noelle fell on her knees, panting as she dropped her wand.
"That stupid maggot is finally dead. I won. Hehe! I won, Asta."
She burst into laughter as she thought about telling Asta about this battle.
At this moment, her pupils suddenly dilated as she noticed a sharp, bright yellow light coming her way.
[Fancy Laser]
Before Noelle could even react, her body collided against a powerful beam of laser, burning her skin and piercing through her chest.
Thud!
Before she fell face-first onto the ground, she saw Franky's appearance, and she died with disbelief in her eyes.
At that moment, a large chunk of Franky's body was metal, and it was torn open by her attack.
Even his face and shoulders were damaged, but the man had managed to keep his palms safe.
"Sorry, little girl! But we still need to bring back our Vice Captain."
Franky said with a light tone, but he then fell on his back. He blankly stared at the blue sky and muttered.
"Unfortunately, I have no cola or tools to recover."
Just when he said that, a large box made of metal landed next to him.
"Usopp, you bastard!"
Franky grinned when he saw that box.
With a simple touch, the box opened, revealing several bottles of cola and a large number of devices.
"Wait for me, Captain! Once I recover, I will come for you."
Franky said as one of his red lights revealed a red light.
