Chapter 89 Sneaking into the palace

At this time, Shi Tian came to the sick girl's side and took out a low-rank healing pill. The girl was a mortal without any cultivation, so he decided to feed her the lowest-rank spirit healing pill first. Her mortal body might not be able to handle the high-grade healing pills.

Under the hopeful gaze of all the children, Shi Tian finally fed the pill to the girl. However, as she was unconscious, she couldn't swallow the pill, and Shi Tian had no choice but to help her digest it with his spirit qi.

As the medicinal energy entered her body, it slowly spread throughout her body. A few minutes passed, and the children watched nervously, praying for the sick girl.

At that moment, the sick girl coughed dryly. The children exclaimed, "Sister!" as they surrounded her bed and looked at her worriedly. They saw her breathing had stabilized, but she didn't show signs of awakening. However, the paleness of her face faded, and a light rosy glow returned to her face.

"Big Brother!" The little girl couldn't help but look at Shi Tian and ask slowly, "she is..."

"Don't worry, she is fine. Although her life is out of danger, her body is still weak and needs further treatment." Shi Tian rubbed the little girl's head and replied gently.

With that, Shi Tian took out another healing pill, a better one than the previous one, and fed it to the girl, repeating the same process. After absorbing the second pill, the girl's complexion improved.

Shi Tian thought inwardly, 'Should I give her another pill?' After some consideration, he decided to wait for a while. The pills contained excessive amounts of medicinal energy, and her weak body might not be able to handle too much energy.

"Really! Sob! Sob! Thank you, big brother," the little girl started sobbing when she heard his words. The other children also shed tears, but this time they were tears of joy and relief.

"Thank you, young master!" The old doctor walked to him and bowed respectfully. The old man looked at the young man with emotion. It was rare to see a kind soul who was willing to help others without any gain.

"It's okay. I am just happy to help!" Shi Tian smiled at the old man and replied calmly.

"By the way, we should take her home," Shi Tian said, glancing around the small clinic crowded with orphans.

The old doctor seemed to understand his intention and nodded. "They live not far from here, you can take her home."

"Okay, where is the house? Is it nearby?" Shi Tian asked the young boy.

"Young master, it is nearby." The young boy nodded immediately.

"Good, let's move to the home." Shi Tian said.

Under the guidance of the children, Shi Tian came to the outer region of the Red Cloud City, which could be called a mortal neighborhood as all the people living here were mortals. Soon he arrived at the orphanage house, which was a depleted two-story wooden house.

Shi Tian placed the girl on the bed inside and said, "Let her rest for a while." After checking one last time, he urged the children to leave, but they refused to leave her side. He then walked out of the room to look around the house.

"I am going out for a while to buy something to eat." Shi Tian said to the kids before coming out.

A few minutes later.

Shi Tian had brought food and candies for the children. "I brought some food," he said as he placed the food packages on the table.

Shi Tian invited them to eat the food, but they hesitated. At that moment, he gestured to the little girl to come forward. The little girl immediately stepped forward and came to him.

"Hungry!" Shi Tian asked slowly.

"Hmm!" The little girl nodded.

"Come eat, I brought many dishes. What do you like to eat?" Shi Tian said as he opened the dishes on the table. The kids looked at the delicious food and gulped. They never had the luxury to eat such dishes.

"Come on, the food is getting cold." Shi Tian invited the kids again. This time, the kids couldn't control themselves and started eating.

"Wow, this is so tasty."

"So delicious." The kids almost cried out as they ate the food.

Although their way of eating was unmannerly, they didn't drop or waste a single piece of the food.

Shi Tian looked at the kids

who were hungrily eating the food, thinking something in his mind. Seeing their happy and cheerful look, he felt good.

While they were eating, Shi Tian came to the sick girl's side. She was still unconscious, he checked her pulse and found it was normal.

'Should I bring her to Mother?' Shi Tian pondered inwardly. Apart from being a sixth stage alchemist, his mother was a good doctor as well. She could cure this girl effortlessly. He decided if she didn't wake up soon, he would take her to his mother.

Shi Tian couldn't help but get curious. The healing pills that he gave her could cure any basic illness of a mortal. However, she took two pills and was still unconscious. He couldn't help but get curious about her condition.

After the kids ate full, Shi Tian gathered them and spoke, "I am leaving for now. But don't worry, I will come back tomorrow. Your big sister's condition is stable, she should be waking up soon. Look after her, don't let her do the heavy work."

The kids nodded seriously.

"Big Brother, why are you leaving? Please stay." At this time, the little girl said with teary eyes.

Shi Tian crouched down to rub her head gently and said slowly, "Big Brother has some work to do, I come here without telling my family. They will get worried if I don't return home on time.

Under the persistence of the little girl, Shi Tian stayed for a bit longer.

After Shi Tian left the orphan house, he was thinking of going home to inform his mother about the pills and auction. But he suddenly changed his mind and moved toward the imperial palace.

Shi Tian sneaked into the palace easily. It was dusk already when he sneaked into the palace. He spread his divine sense and searched for the aura of Li Yinzi.

"Found it!" Shi Tian smiled softly as he moved in that direction.

In the empty field behind the palace, a person was practicing the spear art. It was a woman wearing red loose clothes, holding a red wooden spear in her hand, her hair was loose, dancing in the air as she practiced the spear art. She was none other than Li Yinzi.

Li Yinzi didn't have any idea about his arrival and continued to practice

"Who?" Li Yinzi shouted as she turned around and instinctively swung her spear.

"Clank!" The sound of metal colliding resonated in the garden. Li Yinzi spear was blocked by another spear.

"You are still violent as ever." Shi Tian blocked her spear with his. He showed a bright smile and spoke.

"You... what are you doing here?" Li Yinzi exclaimed in surprise and spoke angrily.
