90 Sparring with Li Yinzi

"I kind of have a habit of strolling in the night." Shi Tian smiled lightly and said casually.

"So, you are a thief, sneaking into other's houses at night." Li Yinzi snorted coldly. Her aura flared up, the grip on her spear tightened, ready to strike any moment.

"If you want to fight. How about a bet? If you win, I will give you a Spirit Ascension Pill and If I win, you will go out on a date with me."

She looked at Shi Tian with a narrow gaze and contemplated inwardly. She was stunned by the fact that he was willing to give up a Spirit Ascension Pill. Moreover, his request was truly absurd, he wanted to go on a date with her. She hesitated for a moment and finally decided to fight.

Li Yinzi was confident in herself, she had been practicing the spear for years, like hell, she was going to lose to a teenage boy.

Both of them blocked their spirit energy as they took the battle stance facing each other, holding spears in their hands.

"Come!" Shi Tian moved his spear parallel to the ground, pointing the tip at her, and spoke.

"I will teach you a good lesson today," Li Yinzi said as she moved at him, the red spear danced in her hand as she attacked him with her spear.

"Clang!"

Shi Tian parried her incoming spear. He kept defending as she attacked again and again.

As time passed, Li Yinzi's spear became faster and faster, Shi Tian also moved faster, trying to cope with her speed. Initially, Shi Tian was finding it hard to defend against her spear, but slowly he was getting hold of it. Shi Tian was not a normal youngster; he was born into a top clan where children were taught martial arts from a young age. He was personally trained by world-class experts.

Due to the system, his comprehension rose to the God level where he could learn any martial skills easily like drinking water.

Minutes after minutes passed but Li Yinzi was yet to defeat him, although she lent a few strikes on his body, none of them was fatal. He somehow always managed to parry or reflect her spear before it touched his body.

'What the fuck? Just who is he?' Li Yinzi was screaming in her mind, she was truly shocked by Shi Tian. She was confident that she would defeat him in a few minutes, but almost an hour passed. Forget about defeating, she felt like he was getting better and better. If this continued, she might end up losing.

"I have to get serious," Li Yinzi muttered slowly as she changed her spear art, using more deadly skills.

Clank Clank!!!

Spark appeared in space as their spears collided. Li Yinzi took the lead, while Shi Tian was once again forced to defend against her relentless thrust. He was surprised by her sudden shifts; he could tell she was being serious. He has to put more focus and attention on her spear.

Both of them were gasping, taking heavy breaths as they looked at each other.

"Where did you learn to fight?" Li Yinzi looked at Shi Tian and asked curiously.

"My father taught me." Shi Tian replied slowly as he adjusted his breath. Although it was tiring to fight without using Spirit Energy, his eyes seemed brimming with excitement. He found a worthy sparring partner.

"Oh, your father must be very good, then." Li Yinzi exclaimed slowly.

"He was an excellent father." Shi Tian replied softly.

"You have never mentioned your origin, where are you from?" Li Yinzi attempted to unravel his secrets. However, Shi Tian smiled in response. Naturally, he wasn't going to tell her about his background.

Li Yinzi grumbled silently in her heart upon seeing his smile. Seeing her expression, Shi Tian laughed and said, "How about you defeat me, I will tell you."

"Hmph, let me see how long you can defend," Li Yinzi raised her eyebrows and said before attacking again. His spear became faster and fiercer as she was aiming for his life.

...

Two hours later,

"It is getting late. How about we call it a draw? I have to go, see you later." Shi Tian looked at Li Yinzi and spoke.

"Where are you running to? As I said before, I am going to teach you a lesson today." Li Yinzi said.

"Ohh, that is not going to happen." Shi Tian smiled lightly and banished from his spot, leaving behind a sentence, "See you later!"

"You... wait." Li Yinzi tried to catch him, but couldn't match his speed. She looked at the disappearing back of Shi Tian and sighed in frustration and anger, "One day, I will beat you badly."

...

Upon arrival at his residence, he discovered his mother seated in the lobby, seemingly awaiting his arrival.

"Mother!" Shi Tian called out softly, walking to her.

"Where are you wandering off in the middle of the night?" His mother looked at him and asked curiously.

"Just gone for a stroll." Walking to her, he lay down on the sofa, placing his head on her lap. Next, he recounted his daily activity to his mother related to the auction.

His mother caressed his hair as she listened to him. Didn't know when he fell asleep.

The next day, Shi Tian went to the orphan house to see the girl. However, this time he was accompanied by two girls.

Duan Mei and Xui Ying also came out with him.

"Young Master, where are we going?" Xui Ying asked cutely as she walked while holding his hand.

"It's a surprise." Shi Tian whispered with a smile. Duan Mei and Xiu Ying couldn't help but became curious, wondering where was he taking them to. Secrecy piqued their interest.

"Young Master, why are you buying so much food?"

"To feed the kids."

"Kids! What kids?"

"hmm, you will know soon." On his way, Shi Tian bought food and candies for kids. Duan Mei and Xiu Ying were confused and asked questions.

As he reached the orphanage, he saw the children playing around. When they saw him, kids excitedly ran toward him.

"Big Brother." Kids ran to him and shouted cheerfully.

"Hello kids." Shi Tian said with a smile, "I have brought lots of food and candies."

"Yeahhh" The kids cheered with happiness.

"So, it is an orphanage." Duan Mei and Xui Ying muttered slowly.

"How is sister Shuang? Is she awake?" Shi Tian asked the kids.

Kids nodded happily and said, "Yes, yes, sister Shuang woke up in the morning. Should i call her?"

"No, I will go to her." Shi Tian shook his head and said. After giving the food to the kids, Shi Tian went to see the sick girl.

In the room, a girl was chatting with the little girl. When the young girl saw Shi Tian and others, she was stunned by their beautiful appearance. She has never seen such beautiful girls in her life. Next, her gaze landed on the handsome young man, her heart almost skipped a beat upon seeing his enchanting face.

Seeing dazed look of her, Shi Tian couldn't help but say, "Hello."

Ah!

The girl woke in alarm, she hastily walked to him and bowed, "Greetings young master and young misses."
