DxD 0059: Destruction Vs Immortality (2/2)
Abaddon teleported into the battlefield and the first person he saw was the cute blonde sister of Riser who was also in his peerage. She was focused on the fight as she admired her brother’s battle against Rias.
“Aren’t you going to help your brother?” Abaddon sneaked up on Ravel.
“Kyaa!” She screamed as she jumped away from him, “Why are you sneaking up on me?” She asked.
“Aren’t you Riser’s blood sister? Why are you in his peerage of whores? Is this some kind of incest plot?” Abaddon asked, not that interested in her answers, he was just having fun while he waited for Rias to get completely exhausted. He’s already figured out the deal with Riser and knew that no matter how much of a powerup Rias got, she wouldn’t be able to beat Riser.
“W-what are you talking about? I’m just here for the experience. I have nothing with my brother… bleugh, that’s disgusting…” She made a vomiting action at the thought.
“I see…” Abaddon gave a cold glance at Riser before turning back to Ravel, “So that means you’re up for grabs?” He asked her.
“What do you mean by that?” Ravel was confused about his intention.
“I mean would you like to be my Bishop?” He asked her directly as he moved closer to her.
“S-stay away from me!” Ravel blushed as she stepped back panic evident on her face.
“I want you for myself, Ravel. It would be so much fun to take Riser’s sister for myself after I beat him to the ground…” He smiled diabolically.
“In your dreams. You might be the strongest in the younger generation, but you have nothing on my Onii-sama…” Ravel seemed to have flipped a switch as she defended her brother, uncaring about her close proximity with Abaddon.
“You wanna bet?” He brought his face even closer to her.
“Yeah. I don’t care. You can’t beat my brother anyway!” Ravel was just spouting nonsense. Even she knew that Abaddon was too strong for Riser to contend against. She was just stressed and saying whatever came to her mind.
Abaddon chuckled amusedly as he saw her panicking actions and patted her head, “You know that’s not true…” He said.
“Hey!” Ravel swatted his hand away with a red face. Though her actions were slow enough to tell Abaddon of her reluctance, “And why is your arm glowing again and again?” Ravel asked.
“Oh, this?” Abaddon brought his gauntleted arm up to show it to her, “This is the Boosted Gear…” He smiled at her with a devilish expression that sent shivers down Ravel’s spine.
She wasn’t the only one who gasped at his words. Every viewer mirrored that reaction, whether it was the Phoenix family, or Sirzechs and Grayfia. Even Zekram gasped lightly as he thought, ’You didn’t bother to tell even me, brat… That’s what you used the scroll for…’
«BOOST»
«TRANSFER»
Abaddon boosted himself for the tenth time as he transferred all of it to his speed.
Before Ravel could even register the announcement that came out of the Boosted gear, Abaddon had disappeared from his spot and was already upon Riser who had grabbed Rias by the neck and was about to tear off her clothes to humiliate her.
“You really don’t have any respect for my cousin do you chicken…” Abaddon’s amused voice came with a suppressed tone of anger. Just because he let Rias get beat up didn’t mean he was fine with it. But he knew that Rias had to go through her own hardships too.
Before Riser could react to the words, he felt a punch hitting his face and he was blown away. Abaddon appeared in his place and held Rias gently in his embrace.
“How you doin’, babe?” He smiled at her gently with a tinge of pain as he saw her battered state.
“I lost, Abaddon…” Rias said with sadness and pain as her eyes became cloudy.
“You didn’t lose. Trust me, you didn’t.” He restated as he saw her not believing his words, “You were more than strong enough to take care of him. He’s been cheating for a while. And you beat him a total of three times. There are limits to how much power he should have” Abaddon smiled at her as he transferred a good amount of Aether into Rias’ body to heal her up, “Drink this.” He brought a vial of Phoenix tears up to her face.
Rias didn’t stand on ceremony and let him feed it to her.
“Now rest. And let me take care of your flaming chicken problem.” He gave a loving kiss on Rias’ forehead as she revealed a vulnerable expression to him.
As he let her go, Rias’ wings extended out of her body and she flew back, seeing that Riser was approaching, she got ready for a fight, “Leave everything to me.” She heard Abaddon say again and listened to him this time, pulling back.
Riser who’s changed his direction to intercept Rias found himself face to face with Abaddon and could only think, ‘Fast!’
Before he could react, Riser was punched in the face again as he was blown away.
“Your fight against Rias is over. I’m your opponent now. And you might want to bring out the full power of the snake if you want to have a chance against me.” Abaddon said with a cold tone.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Riser said with an ugly expression as he came back, completely unharmed.
“Are you sure that you want to play it like that?” Abaddon’s voice got deeper and more diabolic as a sound was heard through the battlefield.
«BOOST»
This was Abaddon’s eleventh boost as he instantly appeared in front of Riser, punching him in the face with a fist coated with Destruction energy again. He instantly blew off half of Riser’s face.
“You can’t do shit to me, Bael!” Riser’s lost his calm as his voice was filled with fury. He had already healed up instantly as he attacked Abaddon with a torrent of his flames.
“Even with this power, you are nothing in front of me,” Abaddon said as his eyes glowed red and a concentrated beam of destruction energy hit the torrent of flames in the center. The beam instantly broke through Riser’s flames and destroyed them before it pierced through his chest.
“No matter what you do, you can’t do anything to me, Bael.” Riser’s voice came out as flames surrounded his wound that was worsening due to the corruption effect of Abaddon’s Destruction energy. A second later, Riser was back in top shape.
“That so?” Abaddon smiled as another boost echoed through the battlefield.
«BOOST»
«TRANSFER»
Abaddon transferred his 12 times enhancement to his demonic energy. It wasn’t some simple 12-times enhancement. It was a 2 to the power 12 times enhancement, which was equivalent to 4096 times.
Before Riser could react, Abaddon released a thick beam of destruction energy in Riser’s direction, accompanied by the sound of plasma and arcs of crimson lightning appearing all around the beam, which was previously completely smooth and controlled.
“Tsk, the enhancement is making things difficult to control…” Abaddon was dissatisfied, though Riser was in no mood to react as his entire body was destroyed right below his head, “Still not going to use the full power of the snake? How about this… This is a private game only between the Gremory and Phenex families, I’ll give my word that the events of this fight won’t go out of this circle. How about that?” Abaddon said.
“Riser doesn’t know what you’re talking about.” Riser would be a fool to believe the word of a devil. Especially one as notorious as Abaddon.
“I’ll just keep torturing you then, you’ll break at some point…” Abaddon’s sadistic smile made Riser’s flaming neck chill as he was faced with multiple whips of destruction energy attacking him.
«TRANSFER»
Abaddon also transferred the enhancement to his entire body to make it a general overall enhancement so that his control over his energy wasn’t affected.
«BOOST»
That transfer came with the 13th boost as Abaddon’s attacks were getting more and more fierce, Riser was having trouble keeping his attacks from affecting him in a prolonged manner as the corruption effect of the destruction energy was also enhanced.
Abaddon’s nonchalant smile as Riser lost parts of his body again and again made him realize that Abaddon was just playing with him and it didn’t help his pride. Riser’s fury kept bubbling as he kept trying his best to deal with Abaddon’s attacks.
“I can go all day, Riser… You might have infinite energy supporting you, but can your mind support that infinite energy?” Abaddon’s amused voice was the last straw that broke Riser.
“You’ve forced Riser, Abaddon Bael!” Riser screamed as a dark and almost purplish torrent of energy escaped his body.
“Fuck’s sake, why do you mix up the I’s and the Riser’s all the time. At least stick to one…” Abaddon said with an annoyed tone as he saw a lemniscate made of two scaly snakes appear in front of Riser.
