Chapter 558: System Prototype

"Divine Embryo? Black and White Orb?"

I quickly accessed my inventory, my mind buzzing with curiosity. The items were there, glowing with a soft, ethereal light.

Ding!

[The Divine Embryo: The catalyst for creating a new god.]

[Note: The new god's essence, powers, and personality will be determined by the creators' divine concepts. The new god cannot be ranked above the creators' current rank at birth, but has the potential for growth.]

[Caution: The process of god creation is irreversible and requires a massive investment of divine power. The absolute loyalty of the created god is not guaranteed and will depend on the creators' methods and treatment.]

"Well now... this is interesting," I licked my lips. A new god. I can create a new god.

This changes everything.

I can create a new god as my subordinate. A new god loyal to me.

A goddess of war, of death, of lust... the possibilities were endless.

"But the process is definitely not cheap," I sighed, thinking about the "massive investment of divine power" part. I would need to gather a huge amount of faith points and divine energy.

"And the loyalty is not guaranteed... hmm," I tapped my chin, a thoughtful expression on my face. "I don't have to worry about that, a good dicking will do the trick, hehehe."

I turned my attention to the other item.

Ding!

[Black and White Orb: UNKNOWN]

"Eh?" I blinked, confused. "Unknown? What the hell is this?"

I tried to inspect it further, but the system gave me nothing else. Just "UNKNOWN". It was a mystery. A blank slate.

I was about to take it out from my inventory, but then I quickly stopped.

'No, not here,' I thought, my gaze scanning the room. 'There are other gods around. I don't want to show them my new toys, plus I don't want to cause something messy again.'

I decided to leave it for later. For now, I had other things to do.

'Herma, pull out my status.'

Ding!

"Wow..." My eyes widened as I saw my stats. All of them, Health, Mana, Stamina, and Divine Energy, had increased by a flat 10,000 points.

"This is insane," I whispered, a wide grin spreading across my face. "This power... is intoxicating."

I felt stronger. Faster. More... complete. It was like a missing piece of my soul had been returned to me. The power thrumming through my veins was cleaner, more potent, more... divine.

"Hehehe... I can't wait to test this out," I chuckled, my hands clenching into fists.

Aside from that, nothing else changed. No new skills, no new abilities. But that was fine. I had more than enough.

"Wait!..." I blinked. Something was wrong.

My seed and egg sacks. They were the same.

And my Dimensional Womb... it was at 100/200. That means...

"I got another 100 Dimensional Wombs?!" I exclaimed, my voice echoing in the silent chamber. "Is this a reward for upgrading my divine rank? Or a reward for my 'unconventional' ascension?"

Recalling the feeling from the explosion, I had a feeling it was related to my womb. The fire didn't just upgrade my rank, it upgraded my core. My breeding center.

"Hehehe... more babies! More legions! More power!" I was ecstatic, a pure, unadulterated joy filling my heart.

I closed my status screen, my mind already racing with plans. I could fill all 200 wombs with Valkyries now. Or maybe I should diversify? A mix of Valkyries, minotaurs, dragons... the possibilities were endless.

"Sigh... calm down, Morgana. You have a 'surprise' to attend to," I took a deep breath, forcing myself to calm down.

Before returning home, I decided to pay an old friend a visit.

Bing!

It didn't take me long to pass through the glass door and hear that cool, bell-like sound.

I stood at the entrance, scanning the futuristic gaming hub, my eyes searching for a pink-haired familiar face.

And there she was, sitting behind her usual counter, her back to me, her fingers messing with tools that looked far too complex for a mortal. Her long pink hair was tied in a high ponytail that swayed as she worked.

Lucy, the Goddess of Games and Entertainment.

"Lucy~! Long time no see," I purred, my voice dripping with false sweetness.

Surprisingly, she didn't react.

"Lucy?" I said again, walking closer.

Again, no reaction.

It was as if she couldn't hear me. Or didn't want to.

'Strange,' I thought, stepping closer until I was right beside her.

"Lucy, you deaf? I said hello," I said, my patience wearing thin.

Again... nothing.

Then I noticed that she had something in her ears. They were pink and shaped like cat ears.

'Headphones? How... cute,' I thought, a mischievous grin forming on my lips. 'I used them last time I was here, but Lucy's music choice... ugh.'

I decided to play nice and simply stood there watching her as she fiddled with a small, round metal object with a screwdriver.

"Damn it! This stupid thing is a pain in the ass," she grumbled, her brow furrowed in concentration. "It can't even handle two of my divine concepts, ugh!"

'Handle two divine concepts?' I thought, my interest piqued. 'What is she working on? A new game console? A new artifact?'

Lucy's frustration grew, and with a huff, she threw the object and her screwdriver onto the counter, then reached with her right hand, attempting to pick up another tool.

Boing!

Her right hand hit something... soft and squishy. And big.

She blinked, confused. Then she slowly squeezed again.

Boing!

She slowly turned, her eyes widening in disbelief as she saw the thing that was blocking her tools.

My BALLS!

"KYAAAHHH! PERVERT!" Lucy screamed, jumping back so fast she fell off her stool, landing with a loud thud on the floor.

Her cat-ear headphones clattered to the ground, the loud, aggressive, screamy music she was listening to now spilling into the quiet shop. It was an absolute cacophony of angry guitars and a vocalist who sounded like they were gargling gravel.

"HOW DISGUSTING!" She roared, a giant blue and pink hammer of pure gaming energy materializing in her hands. "PERVERT! PERVERT! PERVERT!"

"HEY!" I couldn't help but jump backward, escaping the terror. "You're the one who grabbed my balls! Twice!"

The pink bitch tried to smash my balls!... MY BALLS!

My two friends who gave me so many children! I won't let her get them.

"You're the one who put your disgusting... things on my workstation!" she shot back, her face flushed with a mixture of anger and embarrassment. "And why are you naked?! This is a place of business, not a brothel!"

"Excuse me, can't you see that I'm wearing something?" I retorted, pointing to my bikini. "And for your information, my balls are a work of art. They should be in a museum."

"Oh... go and fuck yourself," she snarled, but she lowered her hammer, her anger slowly deflating. "What are you doing here, Morgana? I'm busy."

"I came to see my favorite pink-haired pain in the ass," I said with a grin, bending down to help her up. "I called you many times, but you couldn't hear me."

"Oh... sorry, my new headphones are a little... too good at blocking out distractions," she said, her cheeks still a little red.

"What are you working on?" I asked, pointing at the metal object on the table.

"This?" she said, picking it up. "It's a system prototype. I'm trying to combine my divine concepts of 'games' and 'entertainment' into a stable system artifact. But it's... problematic. The energies keep conflicting. It's like trying to mix oil and water."

"System prototype?" I asked, my interest piqued.

"Yes," she said, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "A system. Many gods like to create them and bestow them upon mortals for a price. I have an idea for one, but the problem is that my concept of 'games' and 'entertainment' are too... abstract. They don't play well together."

"Why? Gaming and entertainment are similar," I asked, picking up the metal object. It was heavy, and it hummed with a strange energy.

"You're right," Lucy sighed. "But the system is for mortals. Mortals need rules, boundaries. My concept of 'games' is all about rules, but my concept of 'entertainment' is about freedom, about breaking the rules. It's a paradox."

"So you're trying to create a system that is both structured and chaotic," I said, a thoughtful expression on my face. "Interesting."

"It's impossible," she said, slumping back onto her stool. "I've been at it for weeks. I've tried everything. Nothing works."

"Hehehe... maybe you're going about it the wrong way," I chuckled, a mischievous glint in my eyes. "Maybe you need a... third concept. A bridge. Something to connect the two."

"A third concept?" Lucy blinked, looking at me. "I have many minor concepts, but none of them can connect games and entertainment."

"You're thinking too much like a god, Lucy," I said, leaning on the counter. "You're thinking about grand, abstract ideas. You need to think smaller. More... personal."

"What do you mean?" she asked, her head tilting to the side.

"How about you limit your concepts?" I suggested. "Instead of trying to cover all forms of gaming and entertainment, why not focus on something specific? Something... like 'adult games.'"

"Adult games?" Lucy's eyes widened. "You mean... like... porn games?"

"Exactly," I said with a wicked grin. "Think about it. 'Games' provides the rules, the structure. 'Entertainment' provides the fun, the arousal. And 'adult games' is the perfect bridge. It's a game, but it's also entertainment. It's structured, but it's also chaotic. It's a perfect synthesis of your divine concepts."

Lucy stared at me, her mouth slightly agape. I could see the gears turning in her head. The idea was crazy, it was depraved, it was... perfect.

"That's... that's actually brilliant," she whispered, her eyes wide with excitement. "It's so simple, yet so elegant. Why didn't I think of that?"

"Because you're a prude," I teased. "Now, are you going to stand there gawking, or are you going to build your new sex toy system?"

"I'm not a prude!" she retorted, her cheeks flushing. "And why are you only smart in things that are related to fucking?"

"Hey! I'm smart in other things too," I said with mock indignation. "I'm also an expert in murder, conquest, and breeding."

"Right," Lucy said, rolling her eyes, but she was already reaching for her tools, a newfound energy in her movements. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a system to build. A glorious, perverted system that will corrupt mortals and drain their faith points."

"That's my girl," I said, patting her on the head. "By the way, can you teach me how to make a system too?"

Lucy's hands stopped mid-air. She slowly turned to face me, her expression a mixture of surprise and suspicion.

"You? Want to learn how to build a system?" she asked, her voice dripping with disbelief. "Why? I thought you were content with your... 'divine breeding.'"

"I am," I said, my smile widening. "But I've been thinking. My people need a little... direction. A little... motivation. And what's better motivation than a system that rewards them for... 'contributing' to the growth of our city?"

Lucy stared at me for a long moment, her mind racing. She knew I was up to something, but she was also intrigued.

"Fine," she said, a sigh escaping her lips. "I can teach you, but you first have to buy a blank system core from the shop. They are used to create a basic system skeleton, then you just have to inject your divine concept into it along with a massive amount of divine energy. The rest is just programming."

"How much?" I asked.

"For a blank one? Around 10k faith points," she said, her eyes gleaming with a greedy light. "But for you... my favorite pervert... I can give you a discount. 8k faith points. And you have to let me test my new system on your... people."

"Deal," I said, my grin widening. "But the system has to be exclusive to my city. No one else can have it."

"Deal," she said, her lips curling into a wicked smile. "This is going to be fun... Hehehe."

"Indeed."
