Chapter 557: Divine Rank Upgrade

"Phew... finally managed to empty them all."

With a final, shuddering sigh, Vicky collapsed back onto the plush bed, her entire body glistening with sweat. Her dragon cock, finally soft and satisfied, lay limp against her thigh, a glistening, lewd mess. My body was in a similar state, covered in our mingled fluids, my legs still trembling from the sheer intensity of our latest "training session."

"Hehe... you really are my best battery pack," I purred, stretching languidly, feeling the thrum of newly refined power coursing through my veins. My reserves were full, brimming with a chaotic blend of divine and draconic energy.

"Shut up, you parasitic leech," Vicky grumbled, but there was no heat in her voice. She was spent. "You're the one who insisted on 'recharging' every few hours."

"Enough of the tsundere act," I chuckled, and with a lazy wave of my hand, the magic of the room activated, cleaning the bed and us. "You're the one who pinned me down and demanded I 'help you with your excess energy'."

"Details," she huffed, rolling over onto her side, her back to me. "Now, if you don't mind, I need to sleep. Unlike a certain baby factory, I actually expended energy today."

"Aww, is the big, bad dragon tired?" I cooed, sliding over and wrapping my arms around her waist, my chest pressing against her back. My cock, already stirring again, nestled between the firm cheeks of her ass.

"Don't even think about it," she warned, her voice a low growl.

"I'm not," I lied, nuzzling her neck. "I'm just... cuddling. For emotional support."

Vicky just snorted, but she didn't push me away. She was exhausted, and despite her harsh words, she secretly enjoyed the intimacy. We were two sides of the same coin, after all. Two halves of a broken, horny, monstrous whole.

"How are the preparations for the barrier?" I asked, my fingers tracing idle patterns on her stomach.

"On track," she replied, her voice thick with sleep. "The sentry towers are active, the traps are armed, the army is ready. I've also started mass-producing the new demonic weapons and armor. They're not as good as divinely forged items, but they're better than anything in this world."

"Good," I said, a small frown forming on my lips. "I'm still worried about the gods. If they sense us, they won't just send a legion of angels. They'll send someone powerful. A seraph, maybe even an archangel."

"Let them come," Vicky said, a cold, deadly confidence in her tone. "The more powerful they are, the bigger the explosion when I kill them. My new dragon fire has a... divine aspect to it now, thanks to you. It should be able to burn even their pretty wings."

"Hehehe... I wonder if it can burn an archangel's halo," I mused, my hand sliding lower, my fingers gently toying with the base of her cock.

"It can," she said, her breath hitching slightly. "Now stop distracting me and go to sleep. We have a big day tomorrow."

"Tomorrow?" I asked, my interest piqued.

"Yes, tomorrow," she said, turning her head to look at me, her crimson eyes gleaming in the dim light. "The final preparations for the barrier will be complete. I want you to be there. To witness it."

"What is it?" I asked, my curiosity getting the better of me.

"It's a surprise," she said, a smirk playing on her lips. "But I think you'll like it."

"Is it another one of your 'surprises' that involves me being tied up and gangbanged by minotaurs?" I asked, my voice laced with suspicion.

"No," she chuckled. "That's next week. This is something... different."

"Fine," I sighed, pretending to be annoyed, but secretly excited. "I'll be there. But you owe me. Big time."

"You owe me, you walking womb," she retorted, but she was already drifting off to sleep, her body relaxing in my arms.

I watched her for a while, my mind racing.

"'A surprise? From Vicky?' I thought, my fingers gently stroking her hair. 'This should be interesting.'"

The next morning, Vicky was up before me, as usual. I woke up to the smell of coffee—bought from the Nexus—and the sound of her never-ending paperwork.

"Good morning, sleepyhead," she said, not looking up from the document she was reading. "Breakfast is on the table. Eat fast. We have a lot to do today."

"Not now, Vicky. I have to quickly finish something in the Nexus," I said, quickly getting out of bed and heading towards the bathroom.

"Oh!" She raised an eyebrow, a flicker of curiosity in her crimson eyes. "The Nexus? I hope you're not wasting our precious Faith Points on useless junk again."

"Excuse me? I used Faith Points for one or two things, unlike some people," I shot back, my voice dripping with sarcasm. "And for your information, I'm spending them all on something very important for our future. So stop being a nosy little dragon and let me do my work."

She didn't press further, which was unusual for her. She just watched me, her expression unreadable, a small, knowing smirk playing on her lips.

"Very well, my dear sister," she said, her tone a little too sweet for my liking. "Do your... important work. I'll be waiting. Don't be long."

The way she said it sent a shiver down my spine. It was the kind of tone she used right before she sprang one of her delightful, humiliating traps.

I decided to ignore it and focus on my task.

I closed my eyes and reached out with my mind, accessing the familiar, green interface of the Nexus.

'50,000 Faith Points,' I thought, the number flashing in my mind. 'It's a lot, but it's worth it.'

It's time for me to upgrade my divine rank.

After a long time, Augusta sent me a message through the Nexus. She told me that she had secured the artifacts needed for their plan and was ready to move on. She also told me that Odin was getting impatient and was 'inviting' her to Asgard.

It was a trap, of course. A clumsy, obvious trap. But it was also an opportunity. A chance to lure him out, to get him alone.

But for that, I needed to be stronger.

And get some help too. I'm not stupid enough to think I can take on the god king of the Norse pantheon alone.

"Hehehe... It's really funny when I think about it."

As a mortal, I feared no one. I slew my way through the heavens and the hells, killed gods as if they were nothing. But now that I've become a goddess, I'm... more careful. I have more to lose.

My city, my children, my sister...

"I can't afford to lose," I murmured, clutching my fists. "I will not lose."

After washing up, I put on my sexy bikini and teleported to Nexus City.

Seeing the familiar, mesmerizing cosmic ceiling above my head always made me feel... small. Insignificant. But also... powerful. I was a part of this chaotic, beautiful mess. I was a god. A goddess. And I was here to claim my rightful place.

I walked through the city, my hips swaying, my long silver hair flowing behind me, my big tits and ass bouncing with every step. I was a vision of divine beauty, a walking wet dream, and I knew it. I could feel the stares, the lust, the fear, the envy of the other gods and goddesses. They saw me, but they didn't see the monster lurking beneath the surface. They didn't see the rage, the ambition, the insatiable hunger.

Anyway, I took the portal to the Eternal Flame of Creation.

Fortunately, not many gods were here.

Last time I upgraded my divine rank, things got a little too... messy. I don't want to repeat that.

I walked up to a small fire that was floating on the right side of the room. It was the Eternal Flame of Creation, the source of all divine power in the Nexus. To upgrade your divine rank, you must offer your Faith Points and the corresponding medal.

"Phew... let's do it."

With that, I took out the silver medal that I received as a reward for killing that demon god. I threw it into the fire and offered the 50k Faith Points.

The fire roared, its heat intensifying, its light enveloping me. I could feel the power surging through me, a torrent of pure, unadulterated divine energy. It was overwhelming, and fortunately, the fire didn't explode like last time.

Ugh... I probably shouldn't have said that.

BOOM!

The fire exploded, not externally but internally, right inside my womb.

"Ahh~..." I let out a soft moan, my body trembling with pleasure. It felt... good. Really good.

I could feel my womb changing in some way, expanding, strengthening. It felt like... an upgrade.

Everything happened so fast, but after a few seconds of heavenly pleasure, the fire died down.

The medal had vanished. The Faith Points had been consumed.

I had done it. I was now a silver-rank goddess.

Ding!

A familiar green interface popped in front of my face.

The Nexus system.
