Chapter 340: Nexus Invitation

"Very interesting," I murmured again, blinking away the sleep that threatened to drag me under. My eyes skimmed the green Nexus interface lazily, but my brain was already kicking into overdrive. An invitation to The Gathering of the Gods wasn't just divine politics—it was cosmic theater. And I had just been handed front-row seats.

"I hope I get to meet that holy bitch, Uriel," I muttered with a grin, already imagining her face soaked in my holy cum.

I pushed myself up against the pillows, still half-swallowed by divine silk sheets as I reread the invite. It was quite the mouthful—lots of pomp, glitter, and the usual flourishes of manufactured importance. You know, the standard crap any so-called 'Gathering' includes when gods want to feel important about breathing the same air.

But hidden beneath all that self-important noise and safety talk there were three things that actually mattered.

First, I was allowed to bring one companion.

Second, the Gathering was like an event or party and it would last seven days in Nexus time—which meant that, in my world, not a single second would pass. A full week to mingle, scheme, seduce, threaten, ascend, and probably breed some divine beings… all while time stood still back home. Delicious.

Third, and most curious of all—for a Bronze-Rank goddess like me, attendance was optional.

Which made no fucking sense.

Why give such a rare and prestigious invitation to a so-called lower-ranking deity... and then make it optional?

Unless, of course, it wasn't really optional at all.

"Hehehe" My smile deepened.

It reeked of a trap. Not the deadly kind—no, the clever kind. The kind of test designed to filter out the lazy, the unworthy, and the indecisive. A baited hook was thrown into divine waters just to see which small gods had the hunger to bite it.

"This whole thing screams selection process," I whispered, brushing hair from my eyes. "And I love being selected."

[You realize if it is a trap, walking into it makes you predictable, right?] Herma chimed in.

"I'm not predictable," I replied, stretching. "I'm horny predictable, that's different."

[You're also arrogant.]

"Well...I am a goddess." I said, my voice calm and cool.

[...Touché.] Herma paused, then added reluctantly, [Though I still recommend we approach this with caution. High-ranked gods are dangerous.]

"I always approach things with caution," I lied, casually swiping the interface away and flopping back onto the bed with a satisfied sigh. "It just happens that my version of caution includes multiple orgasms, kidnapping cute girls, and lots of divinity-level breeding."

[And gender changing]

"That too." I chuckle softly.

I stared at the ceiling for a moment, watching the velvet patterns of divine fabric shift slowly above me like liquid constellations. Seven days in Nexus time. A chance to meet the gods. To walk among the upper echelon. To piss—even from afar—on Uriel's pure and self-righteous face.

"I can't wait" I licked my lips, the possibilities were endless.

Seven days. One companion. A city of gods.

And no rules but the ones I choose to ignore.

[You're already fantasizing about causing an incident, aren't you?] Herma said, her voice dry like a desert that had given up on rain.

"Herma-chan," I cooed sweetly, "if I don't cause at least three incidents, one scandal, an orgy, and a small existential crisis, then why even bother attending?"

[Because divine diplomacy—]

"—Is just fucked-up dry foreplay with extra paperwork."

[You know that's not what that word means.]

"Who cares."

I stretched luxuriously, every limb aching with lazy satisfaction, before finally sliding out of bed. My bare feet touched the warm stone of my temple floor, humming faintly with the pulse of my divine domain. The walls shifted to greet me, divine lewd art and fleshy motifs rippling across the dark rock like an organic canvas.

"Alright. Let's make this official." I let out a long sigh.

[Official?]

"I need to look divine. We're going to Nexus, Herma-chan. That means it's time to slut up this perfect body of mine."

[You're going to make a scene.]

"Of course I am. I have gods to breed, and I'm bringing someone very fuckable to help."

[You're allowed one companion.]

"One is all I need," I said with confidence. But inwardly, I was already struggling to choose my companion. I mean, all of my lovers and offspring were very fuckable, so who should be the one to join me?

"Aaah… this choice is harder than I thought," I lamented. But then I realized I still had some time. Exactly one month from now—the cooldown was already displayed in my Nexus system.

"Maybe I should give birth to extra fuckable girls first or cute boys maybe both in one edition. What do you think, Herma?"

[...] Herma did not respond immediately.

For a moment, there was only the gentle hum of divine magic brushing over the temple walls—the air thick with sultry potential and divine mischief. Then, after what I could only assume was a full internal system meltdown followed by a reluctant reboot, Herma finally replied:

[…You do understand the concept of restraint, right?]

"Restraint is for mortals," I said, spinning lazily on my heel as a soft gust of scented air swirled through my sanctum. "I am a goddess of breeding. When in doubt, I birth it out."

[You're treating this invitation like a breeding-themed red carpet event.]

"Because that's exactly what it is," I giggled, stepping in front of a full-body mirror sculpted from obsidian and lust crystal. "A stage to show the Nexus who I am. And what better way to do that than arrive with the hottest, most divine piece of ass the pantheon has ever seen?"

[So... you're genuinely considering giving birth to your own plus-one?]

"Obviously." I struck a pose—nude, radiant, lewd, and smug. "Why settle for pre-owned when I can craft the perfect daughter from scratch?"

[You treat divine reproduction like a character creator.] Herma groaned audibly.

"That's because it is one." I winked at my reflection. "Hair: silver. Eyes: glowing. Body: a perfect blend of innocence and obscene fertility. Loyalty: absolute. Libido: dangerously high."

[Oh gods, you're min-maxing your companion.]

"And loving it," I sang.

[What next—are you going to name her 'Breedarella'?] Herma sighed again.

"Fuck off Herma" I cursed, my voice resonating throughout the temple "You're destroying my mojo here."

[That's because I know that you love your offspring even more than you love a good fuck,] Herma said, her voice soft in my mind. [You love them the way they are. You even use a randomizer when creating your Valkyries.]

"Yeah... you're right," I sighed, my shoulders dropping. "I was just joking around."

Herma was quiet for a moment longer as if digesting my sudden shift in tone. Then, in a voice much gentler than usual, she said:

[You don't need to craft the "perfect" daughter, Morgana. You've already made miracles just by loving them.]

I stood there in silence, feeling a tight knot suddenly tug somewhere in the back of my throat. For once, I couldn't even form words. While I was a goddess and had the ability to choose the gender, appearance, skill, and even behavior of my unborn kids, in truth—I hated doing it. It takes away the concept of 'free will' from them, and I never want my children to feel as if the only reason I loved them was because they were born perfect by my design.

That's why I made the body modification room in my temple. I left the choice to change in their hands.

"Shit," I muttered, rubbing the back of my neck. "When did you get so soft, Herma?"

[I'm a reflection of your mind, remember? If I'm softening... maybe it means you are too.]

"Gross," I laughed, though the warmth behind my ribs didn't feel gross at all. "Next thing I know, I'll be crying during family orgies."

[Again.]

"That was ONE time and the sex was very emotional."

Herma didn't respond, but I could feel her smug silence from inside my soul.

I stood there for a while, quiet. Then, I made my way to my throne.

Sitting on the edge, legs apart, I focused my divine energy, observing the progress of my armies. And to no one's surprise, all five legions—plus the Valkyrie squad—had completely annihilated the goblin villages. They slaughtered anything and everything.

At last! The time had come to bring this entire forest under my full control.

My next goal was simple: buy the entire land using my breeding points, so I could build anywhere and replace Lilith's old protective barrier with my own—woven from wombs, will, and divine lust.

Next, I shifted my focus beyond the barrier, to a cute little daywalker seated comfortably inside a luxurious carriage. V is approaching the Kingdom of Vador's capital, and in less than two days, she will arrive. Then she'll hand Liliana the key to my temple—so I could finally take the black egg from her womb.

"Ahh~ a dragon cock I can't wait."
