Chapter 339: A Rare Show Of Emotions

I raised The Claw of the Unmaking with a single finger. No effort, no grand gesture—just a soft vertical movement through the air, like parting a curtain of silk.

Schhhhhh—

There was no sound. Not at first.

Then reality itself shivered.

A thin line of golden light shimmered into being, stretching from the tip of the talon and slicing downward—not at the queen, not at the throne—but at the world.

One simple stroke.

One single cut.

And everything was severed.

"!!!" The Goblin Queen's eyes widened, her mouth falling open in a silent scream. She saw it—felt it—as the very laws of existence folded around her, as the mountain groaned and the cave trembled.

Then the world split.

The throne cracked down the middle like a broken egg. The cavern walls twisted, warped and cleaved apart as if peeled open by a cosmic scalpel. The floor beneath the queen fractured in a perfectly straight line, bisecting her seat, and her altar, only the stone tablet remained intact. Why? The answer was simple.

I commanded it. A divine order

A second later, the mountain itself—the one this whole damn dungeon was built into—shuddered violently and then split from summit to root, a sheer line of rupture glowing with golden fire.

It wasn't just destruction. It was erasure. Unmaking. Like someone had taken a blade to the painting of reality and sliced it from the canvas.

The Goblin Queen never even screamed. Her body didn't explode, didn't break or burn—it disappeared, atomized along the edge of divine judgment. No blood, no cries, no drama. One moment she existed. The next, she was unmade.

All that remained was silence. Silence and that golden line hovering in the air like a scar in the fabric of creation.

I lowered my hand. The talon faded.

My heart beat once—just once—and I felt it. A deep, cosmic toll echoed through my divine soul, ringing on the very edge of what was possible, warning me not to overstep. This was a power I'd used lightly. If I'd chosen, this slash could have cut not only the goblin queen and the stone throne she was stuck in.

If I'd chosen, it could have easily severed the foundations of the land. The world could have simply stopped existing. However such power comes at a price.

"Damn..." I exclaimed, dropping to my knees and breathing heavily "That was... way too satisfying."

What I used wasn't even 1% of The Claw of the Unmaking's full potential, but that placed a tremendous pressure on my soul, I could feel it—like my very being had been scraped raw on the inside.

[You just cut a mountain in half,] Herma said, her voice flat, almost annoyed. [Be careful when using this claw in the future, friendly fire is a thing]

"Yeah." I flexed my left hand. "It felt amazing."

[You're not supposed to enjoy it that much.]

I didn't answer. Instead, I stepped forward. The throne was gone—no, half of it was gone. The remaining portion sat at the edge of the severed line, smooth and glowing with divine heat. The stone tablet that had once fused the queen to her seat was cracked, humming with unstable energy. But more importantly—it was still intact.

I crouched beside it.

"So this is a magical artifact, huh?" I reached out, letting my fingers trace the broken script, glowing faintly with remnants of divine power—mine and Lilith's, woven together in a corrupted harmony of lust and birth.

From what I could sense this broken table has an effect, an AOE buff that primarily increases the lust and the desire of everyone around it, moreover, it has an active skill.

By sacrificing a being–not necessarily of the same race—of the opposite gender as yours, you will gain a temporary boost in fertility and the genital organs of that being you sacrificed.

"I guess the elves used this artifact to temporarily create futas... and boost their population during mating seasons." I looked back down at the tablet. "Or orgies. Probably both."

And sure enough, Herma was able to identify the table and pull out its description for me to see.

...

[Artifact Identified: Elven Fertility Matrix – Variant (Corrupted)]

[Passive Effect: Aura of Desire – Entities within 50 meters experience heightened lust, arousal, and breeding instinct. Strength increases with divine presence and offerings.]

[Active Function: Offering of the Seed]

—Sacrifice a being of the opposite gender (species irrelevant). In return:

Temporary boost to fertility and virility Temporary acquisition of the sexual organs of the sacrificed target Duration and strength scale with the soul of the offering. Cannot be used simultaneously with other similar effects. Cooldown: 1 month per personal use.]

...

"Of course, there's a cooldown," I muttered with a tired chuckle, eyes scanning the last line of Herma's projected description.

[Standard failsafe among ancient artifacts,] she explained. [Even the elves knew unchecked lust leads to civilizational collapse. Or worse—messy floors.]

"Yeah," I nodded, scratching my head in lazy wonderment. "The effect of this tablet is useless to me or my followers... but I still want it."

I stood, brushing the golden dust from my thighs, eyeing the cracked stone like a collector spotting a relic at an auction.

"It has a certain charm to it," I admitted. "Makes a great decoration for my temple."

[You're seriously going to haul a corrupted orgy-stone, futa-making tablet... for interior design?]

"Obviously."

[Of course.]

"Fuck off Herma," I rolled my eyes "You have no taste in art"

I reached down and let a thread of my divine energy trickle into the table again, branding it. Not a mark of ownership—no, something more primal. A wombsigil, glowing softly at the tablet's center. My mark. My claim. Not as a thief. But as its new goddess.

The stone responded instantly. The unstable aura calmed. The lustful hum deepened, no longer chaotic—now focused, obedient.

"It's mine now," I whispered.

[Apparently, everything is yours,] Herma replied. [Just don't turn the entire world into some sick, breeding orgy-lust-filled crappy porno]

"That was the idea from the start," I said with a smirk. "Don't worry Herma-chan, I'll find a way to give you a physical form so we can have a baby together, okay?"

[!!!]

I swear I heard alarms blaring inside my head. Like a thousand emergency bells echoing inside a server room having a panic attack.

[That was not a consensual data exchange, Morgana!] she finally blurted. [You can't just—You can't just say stuff like that!]

"I can, and I did," I replied sweetly, brushing some imaginary dust off my shoulder. "Besides, you're technically my assistant. It's only natural that we deepen our collaboration."

[Collaboration doesn't mean copulation!]

"Says who?" I tilted my head. "You're already living inside me, Herma. Spiritually, systemically, sexually—it's a slippery slope. You're halfway to being my lover already."

"Anamnesis created you for me so shut up and mentally prepare to carry my child"

[Stop. Please stop. My logic circuits are overheating.]

"I'll stop when you admit it," I cooed. "You like the idea. I know you've simulated it. Don't lie to me, Herma-chan~"

To say that I wasn't enjoying the blush inside Herma's voice is an underestimate. This show of emotions was rare for an artificial system like her and naturally, I would do everything to squeeze it out more from her.

[Error: Unauthorized assumption of emotional protocols.]

"You did."

[STOP SEXUALIZING YOUR DIVINE OPERATING SYSTEM.]

"Pfft.... HAHAHAHA!" Unable to hold it in. My laughter echoed off the split cavern walls, bouncing between fractured stone and glowing divine residue like it had every right to be here because it did.

"Relax, Herma. I'm not going to impregnate you, yet."

[Keyword: Yet—noted.]

"Good." I smiled, scooping up the Elven Fertility Matrix like it weighed nothing. It pulsed with a soft pink glow, no longer chaotic, no longer violent. Just quietly lewd. Like a horny dog finally put on a leash.

My leash.

I took one last glance at the ruined cavern—split stone, cracked relics, a missing queen, and that divine golden scar still lingering in the air like a wound on reality's skin. And with a single mental command, the divine scar vanished just as mysteriously as it appeared, and the mountain slowly started healing itself.

I used my authority as the goddess of this world to heal everything back, a process that was both quick and instant, moreover, it was safe to use inside Lilith's barrier where the other gods couldn't sense my divine existence.

After throwing the broken tablet in my inventory, I turned my back. And walked away.

Calling four of Valkyrie daughters we spent the rest of the day guiding the captured goblin horde to set up a camp close to where the mines would be. As for the ruined fortress, I left it for now. Kingdoms build fortresses in strategic locations and if that was the case after Lilith's barrier disappears maybe then I'll rebuild it and use it for my own.

"Ahh~...I'm so damn tired" I let out a long sigh of satisfaction, stretched, and crashed into my bed. It's been a long time since I felt the need to sleep. "That talon is no joke"

Ding!

"Hmmm..."

Suddenly a ding echoed in my head and immediately after that, a system interface popped out before my eyes. A green interface from the Nexus.

[Greetings, goddess Victoria Morgana Nosferat]

[We are pleased to announce you have been invited to attend "The Gathering of the Gods" meeting next month.]

"Interesting"
