Chapter 554.1 – What happens inside the tails, stays there
The Crimson Bee Empresses were swept into an unfamiliar space.
There floated many different Foxes and other races.
"This way, this way!" One Demonic Fox shouted as she slammed into a ball of fluff, letting it float towards another Demonic Fox.
They played with the fluffy pile like it was a ball!
Another group of Demonic Foxes provided music in this empty space, and another danced.
They had full-fledged entertainment with actors and everything!
There was one special Fox among them with air unlike any other, but even that...
"Yu..." The Demonic Saintess cried out.
"What~?" Yu smiled innocently. She was full of energy, while the other was without energy.
"Can we take a break?" The Demonic Saintess smiled slightly.
"We can." Yu smiled again. "But don't look like you are in pain again, or I will eat you up." She licked her lips.
The Crimson Bee Empresses exchanged looks. This was such a bizarre space that they didn't know what to think of it.
*sniff sniff*
"I smell honey." Feifei immediately trained her eyes on where the scent originated.
"Honey?""Sweets?"
The Demonic Foxes followed, and the Crimson Bee Empresses shivered.
They instinctively knew that these Foxes were a lot, lot more powerful than anything they encountered.
"Friends?""New Friends!""Sweet Friends!"
The Demonic Foxes swarmed the pair of mother and child, cuddling them.
This was their usual welcoming gesture, but the mother and child were overwhelmed.
*thud*
The Demonic Saintess whacked her Foxes, so that they would behave.
"Can't you see they are afraid of you?!" The Demonic Saintess folded her arms.
"But new friends..." The Demonic Foxes cried out in unison.
The Demonic Saintess felt like she was having a headache.
"Not everyone is like that old flower." The Demonic Saintess snorted.
"Who are you calling old, you fossil!" Yuqi immediately glared at her.
"Now, now." Feifei mediated this situation like she would always do.
"Hmpf. Feifei is the best." Yuqi hugged Feifei, wrapping her in vines.
Feifei pinched her cheeks. "Stop antagonising each other, or Aiko will scold you."
"Ugh..." The duo immediately took a step back from harassing each other.
Aiko was a very good deterrent, especially since sometimes they were able to see what was happening outside.
"I wonder if she is doing alright..." Feifei sighed. She then turned around towards those huge, but cute bees.
"They even have crowns, so cute~" Feifei giggled, gently petting the larger bee.
"But why are they red?" Feifei never saw these kinds of bees. Well, not even such a big bee, but she believed it must be due to Qi.
"..." The pair glanced at each other. This girlie was nice, and her scent was close to Aiko's.
"Who are you?" The old Empress asked.
"Feifei, I'm Aiko's friend... I'm the mischievous glutton's friend?" Feifei didn't know if Aiko shared her name, so this was a better way of putting it.
"She liked the sweets." The old Empress nodded her head.
"Aiko liking sweets? It must've been delicious." Feifei didn't believe it, but since they were inside Aiko's tails, it must be true.
"Yeah, she was slurping it like her life depended on it." The old Empress calmed down greatly.
"That's definitely Aiko." The Demonic Foxes nodded in sync.
"So, who are you, little ones~" Feifei patted both of them. Their short fuzzy 'fur' was so nice to the touch.
"I'm Crimson Bee Empress, and this is my daughter, also the same." The old Empress introduced them.
*Pffft*
The Demonic Saintess choked on her meal, coughing violently.
"What's wrong?" Feifei turned around.
"It's impossible for two Empresses to exist." The old Empress explained.
"Exactly!" The Demonic Saintess stopped coughing. "There should be war and slaughter between Empresses, and usually the old one will pass on soon after the new Empress is born!"
"I don't want to hurt my mom." The young Empress said timidly.
"I don't want to hurt my child." The old Empress said right after.
"No, it's not about hurting each other. The old Empress offers her vitality-" The Demonic Saintess suddenly noticed that the old Empress was full of vitality. "..."
The pair tilted their heads cutely, making Feifei dote on them even more.
"I was here first..." Yuqi pouted at them.
"How the-" The Demonic Saintess wanted to retort, but-
"Aiko." Feifei said simply.
"But..." The Demonic Saintess frowned.
"Aiko." Feifei was convinced that this was Aiko's doing.
*sigh*
The Demonic Saintess sighed and gave up. Nobody could convince Feifei when it came to Aiko.
...
The two Empresses integrated here quite quickly. The Demonic Foxes were very welcoming and even shared their food with them, making them feel like they were home.
"This food is delicious, Mom." The young Empress was quite happy.
"How outrageous..." The Demonic Saintess still couldn't believe it. No, this situation was even worse than she thought!
"The young one can create an army, while the old one can create the highest quality honey..." The Demonic Saintess shuddered. Aiko once again spawned a devil that could conquer realms easily!
Not to mention, thanks to the quality of the honey, the drones and other types of bees would be incredibly powerful from the get-go!
"Mom, I want to have a nest..." The young Empress gently spoke.
"Yes, yes." The old Empress caressed her child. "We will talk about that later."
"Yes~!" The young Empress was quite happy since these Foxes were very kind to her and her mother.
...
"How was it?" The Demonic Saintess gulped nervously.
"We are part of the group now." The old Empress nodded her head.
"Phew." The Demonic Saintess breathed a sigh of relief. If this duo were released, it would spell disaster for everyone.
"I also noticed a very faint but homely smell-" The old Empress spoke, but then she froze.
"You mean this one?" Feifei touched the sickly [Heavenly Blood Tree (Seedling)].
"En!" The old Empress turned very enthusiastic. "It appears sick, but we can remedy that over time with drones. Moreover, its bloodline is very thick, making it the perfect home for us-!"
Unbeknownst to Aiko, she gave birth to an even bigger monster than before...
-----
The Blood Fox was suddenly ambushed, and piercing pain shot throughout her body.
She could no longer move and was dragged into some kind of cave where she lost consciousness...
Waking up, her Soul was in pain, but she was in an unfamiliar, yet familiar space.
"Are you okay?" The Demonic Saintess worried about this child, since she was contracted.
That Contract was too malicious, even worse than it was before!
The Blood Fox couldn't utter a word. Her Soul was in pain, and she wished for this to end.
...
The Blood Fox floated around. The other Foxes were worried and brought her many snacks and delicious food, but... she couldn't move a finger. Without orders, it was also increasingly difficult to do anything...
The Blood Fox was lost, was this retribution...?
...
The Blood Fox appeared outside. Aiko was browsing her body, looking for injuries and other things.
The Blood Fox felt warm all over...
