92. Shino’s Anime Filler, Episode 2: Land of Tea Escort Mission, Part 1 (Hinata)

I can’t believe it. This day has gone from good to wonderful, and it’s not even finished!

First, Kurenai told me I’m being assigned to a B-rank mission, which is the toughest level of mission I’ve ever been given. Then Shino gave me a very important secret mission within the main mission, and then she told me I’m temporarily taking Sakura’s place on Team 7! I get to work with Naruko~! I'm so excited, my panties are getting soaked.

As a clan’s Matriarch, Shino doesn’t have control over team composition for normal Village missions. However, she does have pull with multiple team leaders, and she was able to convince Kakashi and Kurenai to support her request despite not having any additional intel (officially). In private, she gave me a briefing on what I can hope to achieve here.

Not only am I working with Naruko and Sasuke, but Shino also sent Karin with me. Our resident redhead can be prickly at first, but no one else works harder to make sure the harem runs smoothly. Karin is a dear friend, a tender lover, and one of Shino’s precious harem wives. I swear to protect her with my life!

Karin is very dedicated to supporting me in turn. She remains inside me at all times unless called to the surface with coded finger taps. The feeling of her presence is a constant comfort, a treasured weight I carry in my core that reminds me I’m not alone. Also, she manifests her fingers around my genitals to tease me sometimes when I’m talking to people, which is both naughty and fun.

Having the Sharingan is also a novel experience. Everything seems to happen slower, but not exactly. In reality, I’m living at a normal speed, but it feels like I have more time to analyze and react to anything I wish. It does take some chakra to activate the Sharingan, of course, but not even close to the strain it puts on Kakashi. Shino sure is amazing to be able to grant us these incredible gifts!

Anyway, I’m sitting next to Naruko while we eat lunch. She’s so cute!!! I love her whisker marks, and her blond hair in those adorable twintails, and her eyes are this soul-piercing shade of blue… Right, we’re eating lunch and Naruko finishes hers first, so I offer her a bite of my sausage—eh? I didn’t mean that as an innuendo, though, I swear!

She catches me blushing and sensually licks my meat while making eye contact with sultrily hooded lids. My heart is bursting out of my chest it’s beating so hard! I bite my lip and squirm in my seat as Naruko tortures me. Then Karin, feeling my arousal through our shared sense of bodily awareness, manifests her hands under my clothes to start fondling my breasts. Her movements are barely detectable inside the confines of my fur-lined hoody, but I can’t help worrying that people can tell something is going on.

Karin, please, stop it! Don’t bully me, or I’ll cum!

“Ahem,” Sasuke clears his throat loudly from across the table, “We’re on a mission.”

“Sasuke-kun, say ~ahhh~” Naruto says while prodding Sasuke’s cheek with his sausage. Gosh, they’re adorable together!

“~Ahhh~” the Uchiha scion obediently opens his mouth to take his boyfriend’s meat. My heart is going to explode from too much cute if someone doesn’t do something!

“Hey, sexy, come here often?” some random guy asks my precious Naruko. No, Hinata, don’t be mad, this is probably a misunderstanding! Maybe a case of mistaken identity… although there’s nobody in the world as cute as Naruko—except of course Shino, and Tenten, and Sakura, and—

“Uhh, do you mind? I’m eating lunch with my friends, dattebayo,” Naruko replies with far more politeness than I expected from the brash blond. I’m so proud of her for not punching him in the throat!

The guy, a young man our age with brown hair, says, “You’re too hot for them. You should come with me.”

No! I mean, yes, I know that Naruko is insanely hot, but you can’t have her! Shino trusts me to protect her and be alone with her and I’m not giving that up for anyone—except all the other boyfriends Naruko has, but they’re welcome to the other Naruko’s as long as I can have this one!

“You’re making the food taste sour. Please leave,” Naruko insists, displaying saint-like restraint by keeping her response contained to a verbal retort.

“Leave them alone, dattebayo,” Naruto adds, “We’re minding our own business.”

“Tch,” he clicks his tongue in dismay before turning to me, next. “Hey, you’re not half-bad looking yourself. Want to ditch these losers and have lunch with me?”

“I’m hard-gay for life, bitch.”

Great job, me! That’s exactly word-for-word what Shino told you to say in this situation! Without stuttering, no less. Even if it was super-embarrassing… Naruko, Naruto, and Sasuke are all staring at me like I’ve grown a third head—which would totally be possible if I had both Kin and Karin inside me, but I don’t, so it isn’t.

“Uh… ah… um…” the boy looks flustered and unable to speak properly. Good. Unfortunately, he eventually finds his tongue, “Wait, those headbands, you’re all ninjas, aren’t you?” Did it seriously take this guy that long to figure that out? “I should’ve known from how rude you’re acting. Whatever, I have an important job to do and can’t waste time here.”

Then why were you asking girls out on a date???

Thankfully, the guy leaves us alone and heads out the door. The downside is that the waitress approaches us a few minutes later with some bad news. She sets a bill on our table.

Naruto takes a look at it in confusion and asks, “Um, this isn’t our bill.”

“No, it was his. That young man left without paying and said you’d cover him.”

“That little…” Naruto crumples the bill in his fist in one hand while digging for his wallet with the other.

A real life dine-and-dash. Wow, what an asshole!

“This seems like a good opportunity to test our tracking skills,” Sasuke announces as he rises from the table with a dark expression. His lunch date with his boyfriend got interrupted too, after all.

I’d like to say we caught up to the asshole and got our money back, but the truth is stranger. That guy took one look at us closing the gap and removed his hidden ankle-weights (just like Lee!) before dashing off at ridiculous speeds for even a Chunin, let alone us Genin.

Sadly, we’re forced to continue our journey without recompense.

The four of us eventually arrive in the Land of Tea and find Wasabi Jirocho. He seems like a nice man. Jirocho is very concerned about something called the Todoroki Shrine Race because of their rivalry with the Wagarashi family, and there are some bad ninjas sabotaging things, and it’s all very complicated and a lot of this is going over my head while I’m trying to watch how cute Naruko is from every angle with my Byakugan and memorize the way she tilts her head when she’s listening with my Sharingan.

What I gather is that we’re escorting a runner along the track to prevent the bad ninjas from ruining the race.

“Here, let me introduce you,” Jirocho says. “Idate-kun, come on in.”

That’s when the runner in question walks into the meeting room and we instantly recognize each other. It’s the rude boy from lunch!

“It’s the ninja jerks who chased me here!”

What the heck? What’s wrong with this guy’s brain?

“Hey, it’s Dine-and-Dash!” Naruto gives him an appropriate nickname. Good job, Naruto.

“Please, get along,” Jirocho pleads. “The fate of the Land of Tea depends on you.”

“And that’s why we’re racing. It’s to prevent the escalation of violence between the families. Boss Jirocho is awesome!”

“Feh, the Hokage is better, dattebayo,” Naruto disagrees, causing the two boys to glare at one another with their frowning faces practically pressing together.

Sasuke even has to insert himself between the two to keep things from deteriorating.

“It’s really impressive how you can hold yourself back like this, Naruko-chan,” I tell the girl who is sweetly holding my hand instead of strangling the rude boy.

She shrugs, “Brother Naruto-kun has it under control. I don’t need two memories of arguing with that asshole. I’d much rather spend this time with you, Hinata-chan.”

A hot blush creeps onto my face. Screwing up my courage, I dart in and kiss Naruko on the cheek, making her turn red too. I’m so going to hold this cutey down and tenderly fuck her ass tonight~!

“On your marks,” the official says. We’re standing on a dock in front of two boats prepared to cross a small gulf. “Get set. Go!”

Our client’s competitor dashes across the wooden planks and hops into his boat as the crowd cheers for a riveting navel race.

Instead, Idate makes a hard left and sprints along the shore.

““Ehhh???”’

Naruto, Sasuke, Naruko, and I all run after the moron who is supposed to be sailing to the shrine where he can retrieve the ceremonial token-whatever-thingy to bring back to the starting line. We’re miles along the coast before we catch up to the idiot and ask what’s going on.

“Didn’t you ninja-losers feel that breeze?” Idate flips the question on us while we run together. “There’s a headwind coming from that direction. You know how the coast curves toward the shrine island? Well, if we try to cross the gulf from the dock north of here, we can avoid that headwind and get hours ahead of the competition!”

This boy… isn’t as big a moron as I thought! Still a womanizer and an asshole, though.

We reach the dock he mentioned without incident. I’m surprised the enemy ninjas haven’t ambushed us, but I suppose that’s the advantage of going an unexpected direction from the start. There’s a fisherman there and Idate explains everything to the stranger.

“Boss Jirocho will compensate you for the boat,” Idate promises.

“I’d let you have it for free if you win. That Wagarashi family is bad news.”

“Thanks!”

We hop on the fishing boat and set sail. Idate was right about the headwind, it’s fierce; I’m glad we’re not fighting it like the Wagarashi racer.

After a few hours, the sun sets and darkness falls. We decide to take shifts to make sure we stay on course and watch for ninja saboteurs. I can think of a few ways to pass the time…
