Chap 45: Cyclone
Upon hearing those words, her eyes widen with a mix of shock and joy. "Yes." leaning closer, her face filled with adoration, as if he has revealed a secret code.
"That is all there is, precisly that." Her voice is soft but filled with trembling intensity, "yes, you can see it also. Right ?" Gripping him tightly, she hold both of his shoulder and force him to stare directly in the eyes.
"I knew you would see it like me." At those words he can see it.
Behind those inhuman eyes, is an equally inhuman obsession. He din't notice this at first but looking closer, her eye convey a deep sense possessive to him.
His anxiety spike and it was swiftly cut as soon as it arrived. The two continue to stare for minutes more, he was wondering if this was all some kind of cruel joke at his expense, a plan to see where his loyaty lies. The terminal in his mind tell him that it wasn't but his gut is saying otherwise.
"Surely this isn't what you call me here for ?" Her hand twitched, it seemed she managed to regain her composure from it.
"Sorry for that tiny outburst, you have no idea how long it takes us to perfected your creation." Asuming her simple smile again. "You are to be put on your first mission after your next surgery."
'Already ?' He can't belived it, but then again. This could be another test. Takune reminded himself to be cautious.
"What is my mission ?" He asked.
A file was pull out and put on the table. He took it and open to inspect it, there was some name and locations in there.
"These are to be your target, eliminate them."
"Understand." He nodded before taking the files in hand, Takune then walked out of the room. Ignoring the feeling of being watched from behind.
"Founder." A quiet murmur can be heard as he leave.
------------
Reaching the hangar, it's where they have all the vehicle stored. Takune walk over to one of the manager and tell them of his business.
"Yes, sir. Your cyclone is this way." The woman make a formal salute to him, followed by several working person there.
She lead him to one special garage room, there it was.
Taking after a the form of a normal sports racing bike, a sleek, aerodynamic build that tapers toward the front, creating a sharp, aggressive profile. With an body streamlined with curves, It's color scheme is primarily black with green.
His eyes beaming with an eager to drive it, he let his hand ran through the handle sleek, functional grips with a retro-futuristic aesthetic. The handlebars are slightly elevated and slightly angled outward, textured with a high-traction material, black with chrome accents. He can see buttons or switches on the handle control for various bike functions.
The bike seat is slim and padded with just enough cushioning to provide comfort for the driver. From his touch, Takune can tell it's made with synthetic leather or reinforced rubber.
With the Rider's emblem embossed or printed on the back end of the bike, near the tail light. Six exhaust ports is situated at the rear and is styled to match the bike's high-performance design. It’s a tapered, angular shape that directs the exhaust flow for maximum propulsion.
There wasn't a need for keys, the moment his finger touch the metalic surface of the bike. He can feel it, a telepathic link formed between them.
'Hello ?' It hum as the engine started in response to him. A sense of conpanion like a woven thread connected him and the machine together.
Inside of Cyclone is a similar engine use in his own rider system. What he felt is what the Cyclone can perceive, a conection. With such immense power behind the handle, he call to it.
'Let's take a ride then, partner.' It roared to Takune throught, loud engine noise sounded for Takune to get on.
"I'll take it for a spin." swinging his leg over the seat, he said to the woman who press her earpiece to call someone, she then lead him to the nearest track.
------------
On the empty track where he can ran with so much speed, the only audiable sound is the howling engine with wind on his face.
He swerves in and around the track. Silence of the road is actually comfortabke to him, but at the same time it felt like he was running.
'More.' The Cyclone is still have more than enough to go faster.
'You want to go faster, right. partner.' Adrenaline pumps through his veins, he glance at the number showing on his bike panel.
If there is a speed limit, he is surely breaking it with ease.
100km/m
He leans forward and kicks up the gear for more.
150km/m
He wanted to go for more, both him and the Cyclone can go faster, to go even faster, his eyes track the world. It felt so slow as he saw everything in slow-motion. The cloud is at a stand still, the road is in a one line blur, he was about to turn the gas up even more.
'Hayaka ? What are you doing ?'
He stopped, the sudden pull on the break cause him to almost flip, the Cyclone tail flip upward, barely stoping from his order. The front wheel of his bike suddenly stop leave a burn tire track on the asphalt road.
But Takune don't even seem to budge, his mind racing a million miles inside of himself. A voice he din't know of sounded in his mind, a female and another voice hop in just as he was wondering.
'Just out for a ride, i'll be back.'
This one is also female, alot more jovial than the first. Who sounded gruff and stoic in his mind.
Takune sat there, motionless, throughtless, as he just sat and hear the conversation of the two woman voice.
He din't know who this was, but it wasn't hard to analyze. The name 'Hayaka' and 'Souko' are simple to determine from Hayato and Hongo, Kamen rider No.2 and kamen rider No.1 and they are right here, through this link they are having, he can hear them.
What should he do ?
Talk to them would risk letting S.H.O.C.K.E.R know of his attempts. Or don't and risk lossing this call and never able to call them for help.
He sat there and wait, the two voice are having a casual conversation. He can track it, like a radio signal. No, more more progressive, more developed. Like a group chat, of just for the Kamen rider. He could tell where they are from but he stopped himself from doing anything. If he can see where they are then there's no reason for them to do the same.
'Wait...can you feel it ?' One of the voice stopped.
'Crap.' He cut the connection right there. Hoping nothing bad might have happened. Takune closed his eyes and turn the Cyclone around to go back to hangar.
