She had exorcised curse spirits like every day of her life while she was in her clan.
Gojo Satori, the strongest of the current era. Also be the most feared by most of jujutsu society. Known by all sorcerers.
With such a notorious resume, it boggles her mind to think of any reason why Takumi would be worried about her well-being.
What's a bunch of grade ones gonna do to her ? The girl arrogantly thought as she and Takumi reached their destination.
"How did you do it sensei?" It wasn't meant to come out like a demand. Gojo just can't help but feel curious, she had expected her technique to be the barrier that stopped everything.
"Hey, how did you do it?"
"Was that some kind of technique ?"
"Your own or the clan ?"
"Sensei."
"Come on sensei. You can't be silent forever." She said, poking and prodding.
Yet, he still remains the same stoic man who showed no expression other than a blank stare to her antics. Which only entices Gojo's gremblin nature to play around with him.
It was a fascination she didn't realize until he told her to keep her gaze away.
"Could you not stare at me ? If you do it more i fear there's gonna be a laser hole on my forehead."
"Not till you answer my question."
"I'll explain to you one day, but let's focus on the mission at hand." Takumi just said bluntly. Shutting her attempt.
Their first time going out, same goes for the other two. Just Takumi's clones and his student are going on a fun grade-one purging adventure.
Takumi thought he'd hate to babysit Gojo, if it was him way back ? Yes, definitely, without a doubt. But now ? At this age ? He didn't so much, hearing the girl be in awe and curious just about everything remind him of Megumi. Without all the annoying lame jokes.
Adjusting her glasses, the forest she came to has traces of curse spirit all over them.
"There have been reports of multiple missing children in the area. Our only clue is this place." Takumi has to take his time explaining to Gojo, she could be a special grade but a real mission she had never been on.
"So I'm just gonna blast the-"
"No Gojo, you need to think more of your surroundings."
Takumi had to think of a way for her to connect more with the world, the people living in it are scared shitless just hearing the clan name.
Gojo was many things, hyperactive, outgoing, arrogant, cheeky, a tease, annoying, a brat. In short, she was a paradox of insanity. Not murder hobo level of crazy, but close enough so people can mistake her personality for it at first glance.
"I can't do it." She said in the most comical tone. The teen shrug then lay flat on the ground, all interest lost.
"Please, can you take this with at least a bit of seriousness ?"
"Nope."
"Why?"
"Why should I care about the weaklings? I am the strongest."
"Then, what's the point of being the strongest ?" He doesn't mock her, genuinely questioning the purpose of her claim.
To be alone? To distance yourself from the world?
Gojo can't give him an answer, because she herself doesn't know it. She is afraid of what 'the weaklings' will see her as, a monster, a weapon. The teens wrestle with that idea.
That is all she has known.
At that age, she should be enjoying some simple teenage revelry. Instead, she’s got the whole Jujutsu world’s hopes piled on her shoulders.
He has a vague idea of it, simply, to be understood. Strength needs validation, and Takumi has decided to be the one to give them that attention.
"You know, it's kinda hard to care. Especially if there's no reward." She said.
"Then, what would you like ?"
Flying to a stand, Gojo was on her heels tiptoeing to reach his eye level. Leaning just inches away from his face.
"Can I ask for anything ?"
"You can ask for a lot of things, as long as it is within reasonable demand."
The girl had quite the confidence in her chest right as she was about to speak to an anticipated Takumi, ready for any out-of-pocket request.
But instead, he found his body's center of gravity shifted and his vision was turned upside down. The next thing he knew, his face was on the ground and Gojo was laughing up a storm.
"BHahahhhahah, oh my god, look at you, I can't believe you fell for that." She slapped her thigh, fell over laughing. "Pff, you should have seen the look on your face." Her smile fell back to a more arrogant smirk at his surprise.
And as the confused man was still on the ground, she continued.
"Well, it can't be helped, my dearest teacher has so much expectation for me then who am I to deny him, right? I'llbebacksoonjustyouwait."
Takumi stared speechless at the blue blur flying away, shaking his head, dusting himself from any dirt he gotten.
"Well, it's a start, I suppose." He said, chasing after her.
Using a clone body for her was quite the mistake, as he had to follow on foot. Tracing the sound of explosion and trees being shredded. He quickly found the end of a battlefield where she was.
Blasting away spirit with a blue, she was surrounded but it didn't matter much, all of them jumped and attacked her all at once. Gojo was fine, she wiped her dust-free shoulder in a show of power before snapping a finger, a blue orb made out of curse energy floated nicely between her fingers.
Gojo light up the forest with blue, destroying everything in the vicinity. Pulling in the curses and killing them with ease.
Gojo, smiling while sitting atop a mountaintop of corpses made from grade one curse spirits.
He found the missing persons all grouped up, some were bruised but they were largely fine. Everyone is unconscious.
"So, about my reward." Her voice held in the air, pondering and expecting him to deny her. Only when she found him with nothing to say did she continue. "I want to go on a yacht."
"Sure." Exasperated, he agreed.
