"I wonder what stand will i get now?" Takumi looked at the system gacha machine.
[Received: stand-Love deluxe(D)] a stand bound to user's hair, allowing them to control their hair with much more dexterity.
[Received: stand-bad company(D)]: a group of 60 Patchwork soldiers, 4 helicopters modeled after the Boeing AH-64 ApacheW, and 7 tanks modeled after the M1 AbramsW, all armed to the teeth and dressed similar to American G.I.s.
'Not even some useful ones.' These stands aren't even strong, too situational in some cases according to his judgment. So they will mostly just be collecting dust before he ever decides to use them.
"Honey, you're back already ?" He turns his attention to Tojiko, who's just got back. Not a single wound was seen on her, it looked like she didn't actually fight at all.
"It was okay, I had fun. How's your side, were you hurt anywhere? Let me check ?" Her hand roams his body, looking for any injury.
"I am fine, let's go home now."
"Hmmm...one last thing."
Upon seeing his clean state, she immediately cupped his cheek and gave him a kiss.
"*Muhoa* There, now we can go." She wanted more of his kisses, she wanted to taste more of him. But she should do it at home, halting herself. The two steps back through a blue gate, returning to the living room of their home. Megumi is sleeping soundly in her crib, and next to it is Mahoraga.
"Welcome back, master." Her sweet and welcoming tone was irking Tojiko, Takumi saw the dirty look his wife was giving and un-summon her as fast as he can. "You done well, return."
The room fell silent, without a word Tojiko went into the kitchen to prepare dinner for tonight. "You can go freshen up, I'll go ahead and make something until then."
"Sure," he said.
Eyes following him, though both women pretended to be indifferent. That was until he was out of sight, leaving them and a sleeping Megumi in the room.
Only when Takumi was not in the room did she step out. Mahoraga and Tojiko.
Both of them liked him, and they knew their feeling for him were true. But Tojiko is the one to be his wife. While Mahoraga's connection made it impossible for her to be removed from him, her position is nothing in comparison.
With the two women vying for him, neither is willing to back down and able to let him go. This kind of awkward relationship makes the interaction between the two of them, always a struggle.
In this small room, the two women were both filled with different kinds of emotion, momentarily not knowing what to say.
"I'll never hand him to you." Tojiko said, her intent was clear. Her husband, her love, he is to be by her side.
"That's fine."
"What ?" She wasn't expecting an answer like that.
At this moment, Tojiko did not know how to reply to her, perhaps the rift between her and Mahoraga could never be bridged. Moreover, she could not say that she could agree to give the love of her life over.
The air was a little stagnant.
"Master's happiness is what I care about." For Mahoraga, that is her only purpose. "So even if I can't be someone like you, that still isn't going to change my love for him."
Mahoraga's voice paused, a trace of gloom flashed through her eyes, and she immediately became determined.
Toji looked at the sleeping Megumi, a trace of tenderness flashed through her eyes. She thought about it, why was she so possessive of Takumi, and then, Toji faced her words with a sudden calmness, she smiled, walked towards Mahora, and held out her hand. In this flash of moment, an understanding came to the both of them.
"Did I miss something?" Takumi came down the stairs looking dumbfounded. He opened his eyes wide, blinking a few times.
""Nothing much."" The Zennin and the Shikigami raised their arms up high before latching onto each of Takumi with a tight and powerful hug! One that took the breath out of him.
"We've just come to an agreement, that's all." Tojiko's voice came out strained, like she was struggling to get the words to exit her lips.
"Yes. Are you glad. We are getting along, now." He can feel Mahoraga's eyeless face drop next to his ear, there's a small amount of emotion that he'll recognize if he weren't so distracted.
No matter how hard he thinks, Takumi can't help but feel like he is missing a piece in this puzzle. His face flustered with his brain going into shock.
"Then, shall we. I have finished with the food." Tojiko said, pulling a blushing Takumi to the table. Mahoraga followed right next, pulling his other free arm.
Together, they would enjoy this dinner. The food was made with love and among other things. It was a proclamation from her to him through the making of the woman warrior's veins.
--------------
At Senjaku lair.
"Something's off ?" The mad scientist asked.
"No, it wasn't that important." The clone body shakes his head. "Back to the main reason why I'm here."
"Ah, right, did you need more learning material ?"
It was in the night that he came to meet her, she thought he would need some more of her books.
"No, I'm here about the curse spirits. The ones you released to gather Suzuna's fingers."
"Have you seen them ? I must say, they weren't even the perfect products I was hoping for." She showed him some pictures but he didn't give them the slightest of glances. "Cute, aren't they?"
"You know the consequence when you let them run wild into the human world, yet you did nothing."
"Are you prosecuting me ?" She smiled mockingly, "I only wanted to find the fingers, expediting the speed at which curses will be born was just the by-product."
"And besides, it'll help you in your cause too."
"I'll never stoop to so low as you." He grumbled, a flash of distain and hate wash through him. And it amused Senjaku in a way.
"You already did." She moves from his side to over to the piles of work she has studied, a specific one about her research on curse spirits. "The moment you agreed to work with me. You're just as much a father to my work as me, Takumi." The man flinches when hearing her say those words.
"I've been expecting our next project together. Wouldn't you know ?"
"Just tell your goons to go back, the Jujutsu society is sending us to clean them up." He said with seriousness clear in his voice.
"When ?" She isn't asking because she cares about those curse spirits, more so about the data they bring.
"Three days from now. We're off, Kyoto is sent to America and Tokyo is going to Russia."
"That should be enough time, I'll order them to retreat to my base. You won't face any of mine makings."
*Whoosh*
And he disappeared from her lab without saying a word of goodbye.
