Chapter 71. Getting ready to trade

"I feel I might have made a mistake in bringing her with us." Ventress said as we watched Dríade leave.

"I don't think so." I shrugged. "She can decide her own future. Where did you pick her up from anyway?"

"Close to the boundary of your land. She offered us fruits in exchange for getting her and her cargo through the Kobold barricade. We agreed only after checking her stuff." Ventress cocked her head to the side. "We found it strange that she had a tree with her though but not enough to pass up a meal. Did we make a mistake in doing so?"

"Nah." I waved her concern away. "Just something that could be useful or a waste of time. Nothing we can do about it now though so if you want to continue washing you can."

Ventress smiled. "Is that just an excuse to keep looking at me?"

"I don't know what you're talking about." I said so unbelievably while giving her a proper once over.

Like her group Ventress was all muscle with bumps for boobs more there to show she was a woman than to actually do anything with. She also sported her own fair share of scars that gave her an oddly roughish look even while naked.

"No fair! Stop stealing the males attention Ventress!" On of her companions called out before performing a standing split. "I've got something he can look at aaaaaallllll night."

Giggling followed as a lot of the girls mirrored their friend with some even going a bit further by using their fingers.

"Matriarch give me strength." Ventress cursed even through the smile. "Give me a second to sort them out."

She was gone before I could say anything and from the collective squealing that came from the Drow woman they all knew what was coming. That didn't stop them from trying to run or swim away from their leader.

Now it looked a bit like they were playing a game of hot potato with Ventress in the middle but she didn't stay that way for long. There was an obvious difference in their speed and Ventress caught up to each of them in succession, giving them each a slap.

Not a hard slap but one that left a red hand print on their backs or if they were really unlucky like in Mavalk's case it was a full on boob slap.

At this point I had to excuse myself. Not that I wanted to but they were never going to actually get clean if I was still there. Next time.

Hell. I pretty sure Zeldi would come and sit beside me next time and start comparing the difference each Drow had.

Tarakona wouldn't enjoy it as much I don't think.

I made my way over to my house giving the cart a look as I passed. What could they have brought to trade? That would require me to have stuff to trade and currently that was with the girls.

So once I was inside the house I selected the option to teleport to Voras's room. It was oddly quite but I'm guess is that was because they were all up in her nest right now.

Cupping my hands to my mouth I took in a breath. "Girls! We have guests, the friendly kind!"

There was no immediate response and even when I looked up to the face Voras had made I couldn't see any of the silk moving. Then I heard Tarakona.

[We will be down soon Master. We are currently not in a position to see guests. It shouldn't take us too long to get ready however.]

That sent an excited pulse through my body. I mean I was happy that there was no bloodshed between them as Tarakona didn't sound angry. That could only mean they must be focusing on Voras's quest.

I could not wait to see that.

"Just make sure to bring your eggs! And the milk from before!" I called out.

[Yes. We will.]

I left them too that and teleported back to the house. There was still the other house in the middle of the property that I would need to do something with. Though with the state of the bathroom it was hard to find the effort to actually do anything. And I don't think Zeldi would like to go through the memories of that.

I still think burning it down might be for the best.

Poking my head out the window I saw the Drow all washing their clothes. Or everyone but Ventress was as the lead Drow was standing on he edge of the water with her hands on her hips making sure the rest were actually cleaning. I think now that the 'distracting male' was gone it was a lot easier to corral them into doing things properly.

Leaving them to it I went to the kitchen. I'd been thinking that maybe I could whip up some snacks but we didn't really have anything in that department, and even the first barrel of grains we'd gotten from Zeldi's family was almost empty.

Need to look into alternative food for the herbivores on the farm. Oh the benefits of being omnivorous. Though with Voras joining I doubt I'd be able to cook anything up from the automatic butcher.

Maybe if I got a second one? I mean it didn't say I could only buy one so in theory I could buy a few.

Surprisingly the girls didn't take long to finish up with Tarakona being first, though she just had to get naked really. And instead of saying anything she just appeared then ran outside before quickly transforming back into her original form.

[Ah Ventress. We were not expecting you so soon.]

A collection of screams came from the stream in a very unprofessional way. Could I really blame them when a Dragon just appeared? Not really but I was still going to laugh. In the safety of the house where they couldn't see of course.

Zeldi popped into existence next wearing exactly what she had when she'd gone but the blush that spread through her cheeks told me she had recently had something entirely different on.

"Hey Master. You wouldn't still have my... Ummm." She mumbled touching her fingertips together.

"Your?" I questioned knowing what she ment.

Both her and Voras's underwear were in my inventory right now as I'd put them there so they weren't damaged. I was still going to make her say it out loud, just to tease her.

Noticing my grin Zeldi just rolled her eyes, the embarrassment momentarily forgotten. "Master I would rather not chafe while we have guests and if that is your plan then I might be too sore for any other activities we might have planned for tonight."

She had me there. So with some reluctance I retrieved her underwear and gave it back to her. That didn't stop me from watching her put it on however. She could have just had her tail under her dress and that would alleviate the problem but I stayed silent.

And of course she knew this fact and made an exaggerated effort to get them back on before blowing me a kiss. I returned it by pulling her in close and doing it the more physical way.

[Master I suggest hurrying up.]

Of course the moment was ruined.

"Later Master." Zeldi purred mirroring my thoughts.

So with an effort that defied my reasoning I split from Zeldi's curves and made my way outside, plastering on a smile as thoughts of later went through my head.

Ventress and her group had gotten their clothes back on even though they were completely soaked but I couldn't blame them. I'd have tried to do something similar if I'd just seen a Dragon appear in my vicinity.

A slight problem however was that they weren't part of my farm and thus not immune to Tarakona's frost.

"Her Tarakona. Any chance you could try and hold your frost back a little bit. Just while we have guests?" I asked coming up beside her leg. It still amazed me to no end that she actually listened to me even though I was shorter than her leg.

[I will keep my distance. At least until they show some hostility but I doubt they will. I will however be keeping an eye on the other one.]

What other one?

Oh did she mean Dríade?

"By other one you mean the butterfly woman?" I asked for clarification.

[Yes.]

"There's someone else with them?" Zeldi piped in.

"Yeah. A woman by the name of Dríade. She looks like a monarch butterfly if you know what that is." I replied only for Zeldi to shake her head. "Where is she?"

[Speaking with Tilty. She hasn't tried cutting her out of the tree yet but if she does I will be freezing them both.]

Ah. Almost forgot about our resident annoyance. She would be the reason our food is a little low but I wasn't going to starve her. Then again we'd specifically left her close to the boundary so that the snake man would sneak in and feed her.

He couldn't enter the land but watching him put an apple on a stick and try to feed Tilty like that from the other side had been hilarious so Zeldi had agreed that she could stay out there. Ment we didn't have to feed her that much and got some entertainment.

"Fair. Just give her a bit of a heads up. If rather not have her be frozen if she was just trying to be nice." I returned. She was a potential livestock after all. I was just being a bit more hesitant after Voras. Lots of livestock doesn't always mean they'll play nice.

Tarakona agreed and moved slightly closer to where she had said Dríade was. This also moved her further away from the cart and allowed Ventress to get close.

Of course they were all shivering both from the water and from the chill Tarakona naturally gave off. Luckily Zeldi was here.

"Shall we get a fire set up so that you guys can warm up? Then we can see what you've brought."
