Chapter 70. Drow bathing

"This is it?" Mavalk asked with obvious disappointment. "I mean... Where's all the gold and castles? You have the ability to sell Mana regeneration, where is all your riches?"

"Locked behind the fact I can't sell anything if no one comes here." I counted. "You're the first traders I've ever had to be able to sell my wears to."

And the store was incredibly good at giving me supplies but very stingy in some regards. Don't tell the Deed I said that.

We heard that.

Well crap. I almost forgot there were two of them now.

"That would explain it." Ventress nodded. "Do you mind if we put the cart somewhere safe before we bathe? And where is Zeldi?"

"Zeldi is currently dealing with a little drama."

Little being an understatement.

"But we can put the cart in front of the house for right now. As I said only myself, Livestock and other traders can come into the farm. So unless another group suddenly shows up the cart is fine." I said pointing at the house by the lake and ignoring Zeldi's old one.

There was also the thought that if someone tried to steal anything they were no longer traders thus Trespassing would get rid of them. Handy little thing that was.

"How many Livestock do you have?" Dríade asked from above me.

She'd taken the opportunity once we broke out of the trees to stretch her wings.

"Three or four depending on how you clarify Livestock." I replied before changing the topic. "Does the ox thing need anything? I don't really have a lot of grass to offer him unfortunately."

The fertile reward for the land was working but it wasn't at the grazing length yet.

"He will wander into the trees to eat the leaves if that's okay?" Dríade replied squinting at me. Apparently she wasn't quite happy with my answer.

It was strangely amusing. She was shorter than me with my estimate being around Zeldi's height but flying as she was now it made her look taller. Though any angry face she was trying to make was ruined by her fluffiness as well as her antenna. And possibly the biggest distraction was the way certain parts of her jiggled as she flapped her wings. She also didn't poses an abdomen so I was a little unsure of how the blending of creatures in this world worked.

"Great." Ventress got in the middle sensing something from Dríade that I didn't understand. "Let's get this all squared away then we can relax till Zeldi's ready."

"Whooo. Hear that girls? The boss has given us permission to strip naked in front of the male!" Mavalk yelled out.

Now there wasn't a stampede of everyone rushing to get the cart to the house but it was noticable that they did all pick up the pace.

"Bloody horny harlots." Ventress whispered under her breath even though she too picked up her pace.

Getting the cart to the house was easy enough with two of the Drow taking a long length of rope to tie the Ox to the trees. I mentioned for them to avoid the tree Voras had slung her web around just to make sure.

Then came the part they (and I) were waiting for.

Unlike Zeldi who was shy at first or Tarakona who while she had been needy the first time, didn't care about her nudity the Drow woman were all proud of their bodies. With good reason.

All eight of them were stunning to look at with muscles built from training. One of them noticed me looking as she stripped and decided to pose. With her clothes halfway off she reached her hands behind her back and started to pump the muscles in her chest one side at a time.

It was similar to bodybuilders I'd seen flexing, just not on a female model. This started a war between the girls as they each started striking different positions to show off their bodies.

"Matriarch give me strength." Ventress cursed before slapping an unfortunate girl on the rear and barking that if they were naked they should be in the water.

I followed them down to the stream because why not? They didn't seem to mind.

Ventress did come up besides me as the group giggled while they ran in front. "If the Matriarch saw them like this I shudder to think of the punishment that would follow. Do me a favor and please keep your clothes on. I doubt any amount of training will stop the cat fight that would cause."

"No problem there." I replied watching as one of the Drow dove under the water only to come up squealing that it was cold. Not that I needed the words from how hard her nipples were.

"Good. Then if you'll excuse me." Ventress said with a look down at my crotch that she thought was subtle.

Was this what it meant when back in my world women said they knew when men were looking at them?

I snickered to myself before purchasing a few bars of soap for the Drow woman. This was entirely me being nice and had no alternative reasons.

"Ventress! Before you go take this." I called just as she started to move away. "It's soap. Nothing fancy but it should work on skin and hair."

Ventress took the three bars with a smile and instantly gave two of them to the most well behaved of her team. It was a hard decision. On her part.

The only one who didn't join the Drow in the water was Dríade. The butterfly woman instead sat on the ground beside me.

"I have questions." She said with a certainty that didn't reach her eyes.

"And I have answers." I returned paying full attention to her and nothing else... I swear.

"What do you mean by three or four livestock?" She started, her antenna both pointing towards me like some kind of detector.

I dragged my gaze from the swimming Drow and gave the Butterfly woman another once over. Even sitting down it was obvious she was stunning.

"I have four Livestock technically but only three produce for me." I replied carefully.

Oh it was obvious this woman was connected to the Deeds in some way. The only reason I wasn't too fussed was that she wasn't being denied by Trespassing. If she was a messenger or even a Deed owner herself it would make a great trading partner.

"So you're intentionally treating one poorly?" She almost growled before catching herself and returning to her normal tone. "Otherwise she would be producing for you."

Okay definitely more on the Livestock front. Does she have a friend or a family member that's one? She might even be one herself but if that were the case... Actually it made complete sense why you would try and gauge my farm.

"You're a Livestock." I stated to see her reaction.

She didn't flinch at least in the way I expected and she turned to me almost questioningly. "Trying to change the subject?"

Clever girl. I'd almost believe she wasn't one from her reply but her wings stilled for a second.

Instead of answering her directly I asked her a question. "Do you believe all Livestock are innocent? Even if they abuse other Livestock to get their way?"

"Anyone that abuses Livestock should be punished if not killed." Dríade growled but caught herself quickly.

I didn't call her out on it and instead looked out at the Drow currently lathering themselves in suds. While the bodies on display were beautiful and a sight to remember it quickly reminded me I never finished Tarakona's bath.

Though that being said if I was rewarded with this view every time Ventress and her group came to trade that would be the icing on the cake. Of course the moment I actively started to watch them they noticed and their bathing became a lot more provocative.

My personal favorite had to be when Mavalk started to fondle the tits of another Drow I didn't know the name of until she dropped her guard. Then the playful Drow managed to lift her victim into the air. In response to the sudden shift I was given a near unobstructed view of her performing the splits in the air as if she could find support. All while the rest laughed at their friends embarrassment.

Yip definitely going to be a highlight of their visits.

"Look I've had enough about people that don't know the full story jumping to conclusions. If you want to know why just ask any of my Livestock including the one I don't consider my proper one. Even she will tell you she deserves it." I said moving away from Dríade to signal the conversation was over.

Unfortunately she didn't let me escape that easily and followed while I found a new spot to watch from. Ventress noticed my shift and gave herself a quick rinse before joining me.

"That's not a good answer." Dríade replied flapping her wings to catch up.

I let out a sigh. My time 'bird watching' was slightly being soured.  "Look Dríade, I'll ask you this straight. Is there any justification that I could say that would make you agree with how I run things here? Because if that answer is no then stop asking stupid questions as you won't change your mind. If the answer is yes however then you should already know the answer as to why one of them is and odd one out."

I spun to look at her as I finished. "But answer me this. What stake do you have in this?"

Dríade didn't answer me and it wasn't till Ventress joined that something was said.  "Ventress said that a Livestock that lived here was loved by her owner. I am curious as to how or why that is the case."

"Why?" I asked simply.

"Personal curiosity." Came Dríade's reply.

"Then are you here to trade?" I asked rereading the conditions for Trespassing.

Dríade gave me a confused look. "No. I came only to sate my curiosity."

"So you are a Livestock then." It wasn't a question as I'd missed out a single word in the description of Trespassing. One that let any Livestock enter at any time. Even if they weren't owned by me.

This time Dríade bristled. "No. I am not."

"Am I missing something?" Ventress finally said as it seemed like it was getting heated.

"Not at all." Dríade said with the professional calmness of someone who did it a lot. "We were just discussing matters of the land."

With that she spun and walked away.

I let her go still trying to understand what exactly she wanted.

I did in the process admire her ass. She had a wonderful ass.
