Give me a break! Not Goo Kim
[Yuito's POV]
You will probably never understand the level of happiness, relief and euphoria that I am feeling right now so I will not even bother to word it out.
If you want to experience it, go and fight the strongest fighter in your world, go two rounds with him, fall from a hundred-storey building and grow wings before flying back up. Have martial enlightenment and somehow pull off a W when your opponent still outclassed you in every way with your body completely broken.
Good luck with that.
Anyway, as I was slowly about to drift off to a much-needed sleep with that feeling of euphoria, the sound of a phone ringing tugged at my consciousness and made me open my eyes.
Why?
Because the ringtone was 'Nyanpasu' sung by Renge Miyauchi from the Non Non Biyori series
It was my fucking phone.
"Siri, take the call." I manage to choke out through pain and tears and more pain.
{You use Android bro.}
"Fuck." I said and remained on the ground, half dead. I waited for the call to end but when it finally did, it rang again.
That seems urgent and from the way it was stubbornly ringing, I think I know who was calling me.
It's probably Sumire.
What is stronger than a woman's intuition, a wife's intuition and a mother's intuition? The answer was all of them combined.
My Sumire was all of them combined.
"Fuck it." I said and rolled over before I started crawling using my numb and some broken limbs. I also used my jaw to row towards the sound of the ringtone.
If I could push through my limits to exchange touch with a random dude, I sure as hell can pick up a call from her. if not, it will mean I am gay.
The phone finished ringing for the second time while I was crawling and searching for it. But then it rang for the third time.
At that point, I was sure that it was Sumire so I pushed myself off the ground and searched for the phone while limping.
Finally, I found it near the first broken wall which the enemy had thrown me through. My phone was cracked and buried under small debris but it was still working.
{Is your phone a descendant of Nokia or something? I can't believe it's still working.}
I sat down on the floor and picked up my phone. Then I swiped to answer the call.
..
..
"Yuito!!" x4
I heard the emotional voices of all the girls calling out my name. I was caught off guard by the weight and tears in their voices.
"Hello." I tried to answer casually and my voice was as normal as one could sound with a broken jaw.
"Yuito, are you okay?" I heard the motherly voice of Sumire and I paused.
"Yuito?"
"I am fine." I said.
{You almost died.}
I know.
"I was not fine a few moments ago, but now I am." I said and I hoped my voice carried the smile on my face.
I guess they must have had a bad premonition for them to call me so abruptly like this. But now I have to reassure them that I was okay.
"You don't have to worry girls, I am fine." I said and I heard some sniffling in the background. Were they truly that worried?
"I am glad." Marin said.
"That's great." Kurumi said.
"I miss you." Komi said and her perfect voice came through the phone, "Come back soon. Come back tomorrow, come back now." She sounded like a spoiled child.
The other girls agreed as well.
"I miss you all too but I have a situation right now, I can't come back yet." I said with a strained smile. It hurts.
"I am safe girls, you don't have to worry. I have to go now." I said and even though they made sounds of protest, i could not keep entertaining them.
I still have some things to do.
"Okay bye." I drawled and ended the call.
I released a heavy sigh before I got back up to my feet. My strength was brittle at best and I used the walls as a support and I went towards the place where I left Xiaolung and Vivi.
It took me some time but finally, I returned to the undestroyed part of the top floor and I found the two of them in the same position. Vivi was lying on the floor, unconscious and so was Xiaolung who was lying on top of her.
I quickly looked around the place and I realized that Samuel Seo whom I thought I had killed and Jake Kim was nowhere to be found.
The only person I found was Daniel who was sitting near Vivi and Xiaolung. It seems he was protecting them while I fought with his other body.
"Y-You won." Daniel said to me with eyes wide and shocked.
I stopped in front of him and even though my face was bruised and my skull was probably cracked, I gave him a smug smile.
"Of course. I am invincible after all." I said in a tone of a saint that never lies.
{It was a draw.}
No one likes you. Go away.
"How?"
I made my way to the wall beside them and flopped down. I leaned on it and allowed myself to rest beside the unconscious bodies of Vivi and Xiaolung.
"Cause I'm Batman." I said with a chuckle. Maybe I really should have gotten that batman mask.
'Speaking of which..' I touched my face and noticed the lack of a mask to cover it. My mask had fallen off during the intense fight that I just had.
But I did not care anymore. I was on the secret top floor anyway so no one should come here.
"But you are Yuito Fujita." Daniel said, taking my words literally. For someone who was a certified loser all his life, it was surprising that he was not a nerd.
The fact that he knew me instantly even with my swollen and broken face did not surprise me. I was already world-renowned and I was especially famous in Japan and Korea due to the start of my career.
"Forget it. Daniel, can you stay guard a little longer? I want to take a rest."
"AhH- of course."
"Thank you." I sapped my broken body of all its strength and finally allowed myself a moment of respite where my body was not in a constant state of action.
I called forth my status and observed it as I rested.

Like I expected, I improved quite a bit with that fight. Although it was brief, the intensity could rival a dozen fights.
But one thing that surprised me was my increase in intelligence. It was probably due to the enlightenment I had and my new comprehension of Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist.
It was not only about the technique but attaining that enlightenment had given me a new understanding of force, martial arts and the concept of violence itself.
You don't fight force against force. Chaos was not the peak of violence, order was. Solid breaks, liquid doesn't. Precision is the pillar of offence. etc.
It felt like I was looking at the art of fighting in a new light. I now held a deeper understanding so that was why my intelligence increased.
I continued resting for a few more minutes while I observed my progress. But of course, my time of peace was soon interrupted.
Cause why the fuck not.
"Oooooo!~ I thought I was late but turns out, I am right on time." I heard a voice coming from the end of the hallway. From the pep in his sentence and his dangerous presence, I could already guess who it was.
I rolled my eyes and looked towards the direction of the voice. My eyes caught a guy wearing a spectacle with his hair dyed blonde. He was wearing a yellow long-sleeve shirt with a black suspender.
He had a stupid and bratty smirk on his face and he was carrying sheathed sword in his hand. He was giving off a killer aura even with his easygoing vibe.
Of course it's him.
Goo Kim, the bodyguard of Charles Choi and someone who was equal to Gun.
"If you don't mind me, I will be taking Vivi and Xiaolung with me."
What is up with my bad luck? Was it to balance the good luck I had for all of the girls in my harem? Why was the martial art side of me so fucking unlucky.
Maybe I was meant to be a lover, not a fighter.
"Objection." I said and slowly rose up to my feet. I used my skill beserk to pump adrenaline into my body as I prepared my broken body to go for another ride of self-destruction.
"You ain't taking nobody while I am here."
..
..
..
..
"Oh god fucking cringe!!" Goo trembled as his face scrunched up as if he had eaten something sour.
"What is this? A brainrot novel some dickhead made? Do you really think that was a cool line?" Goo said with a clown face.
{Yuito, I will give you every plot armour you want. Just make sure to kill him.}
I laughed and I felt strength returning to me as adrenaline flooded my veins.
I observed my opponent and the sword he had instantly caught my eyes. It was said that Goo was a master of every weapon, be it a pencil or a spear, but his true mastery lies on the sword.
Well...
I got news for him.
It's been a long time since I had done it but, he was not the only swordsman in the room.

I was extremely exhausted and my body was injured to the point that I should not be doing anything other than breathing.
And the enemy in front of me was one of the strongest fighter in the verse, someone who could rival Gun himself
So does that mean I will lose?
Nah, I'd come in clutch.

INTERESTING NOTE :
The initial plan was for Highchool of the Dead to be added in this book. It would have served to be the final arch after Yuito get all of his harem girls.
It would be at this time that the harem actually works and the girls marry him. Before they were just tolerating each other and except him to only marry one of then. Harem anime style.
It would have lasted for a few years but in the end, the infected zombie would decompose completely and Yuito would be declared a hero and the new ruler of Japan due to all his achievements and some shits.
I gave him the samurai pack solely because of this last arch in mind and so that he could meet the second best girl in the verse, Saeko Busujima. (First being the clutzy big tity nurse obviously)
I also always planned for him to have the Sun breathing. I thought breathing styles are the best semi supernatiral skill.
That's all, by
