Round 2

[Yuito's POV]

Round two.

It was a statement that would always excite me when said because it meant that I would have more time to play with my opponent or more time to show off.

But when you were facing off against the strongest fighter in this universe who outclassed you in every known stat, the statement became heavy like a dumbbell.

..

Luckily I was a powerlifter and a gymrat.

See what I did there?

{Motherf***er focus on the fight!!}

Too late.

Because the enemy's fist smashed violently on my cheek. We met in the middle and exchanged attacks but while my attack was easily dodged, his landed spectacularly.

I admit, it was partly due to my lack of focus but it was also because he was faster, stronger and better in every way.

He had executed the most perfect power punch that I had ever witnessed but even though his fist pushed again to my cheek, he never hit me.

It was then that I recreated one of the most badass scenes in One Punch Man where Garou redirected Tank Top's attack on himself.

I did not need to be stronger or faster when I could turn all those insane attributes at himself. My body was coated in a thin layer of hypnotic blue energy as I moved - seemingly - slowly.

I did not actually move slowly but the elegance and precision at which I moved made it possible for all eyes to see my movements. In fact, it almost seemed like I was moving in slow motion.

Flow like water.

My hand both slowly and quickly found a target which was the enemy's chin.

Crash like water.

..

*POOOW!!*

Ui Daniel's head violently flung back due to the unorthodox uppercut. I could see a cut on his chin and his black eyes became clouded.

"Twinkle, Twinkle, little stars~" I sang with a smile as he staggered back.

"How I wonder what you are!~" Maybe it was because I have kept the skill Water Stream Rock Smashing fist bottle-necked for so long but I felt my mastery rushing out like a broken dam.

-----------

[Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist : Novice -> Intermediate.]

----------

Water does not stop when it crashes.

My arms swing around like a whip, completely boneless and flexible. Then I imitated the splashing of water as my hands blurred at a speed which made it seem like I had multiple arms.

My fist landed multiple times on his unprotected body. My hits became consecutive and it was so rapid that it became a vibration.

A vibration which was sound.

It made the sound of boiling water. My attacks landed on different parts of his body and it made a roar.

An impossible sound. How fast do you have to hit something to make such sound?

*Pow!!* *Pow!!* *Pow!!* *Pow!!* *Pow!!* *Pow!!* *Pow!!* *Pow!!* *Pow!!* *Pow!!* *Pow!!* *Pow!!* *Pow!!* *Pow!!* *Pow!!* *Pow!!* *Pow!!* *Pow!!*

This fast!

..

Yet my enemy was arguably the strongest fighter in the universe and he showed his worth for that title. He snapped his head back at me and started to fight back.

It was not fair, you can't really knock out an unconscious person.

Then his hands started blurring as well, protecting himself from my attacks. He was copying me in real-time.

But he was not able to do so, at least not fully. I was an anomaly, I was someone who was blessed with heaven-defying talent and a system. He can't copy martial arts from another universe.

We started exchanging blow after blow. He was stronger, sure, but I was also getting stronger. With each exchange, he was losing bit by bit.

He was a monster, I agree. But Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist was created to combat real monsters. Monsters which were unimaginable for this universe.

They say precision beats power and timing beats speed, that was the case in our fight. My body flexed and bent at impossible angles and I found new angles to hit him. Angles which no other martial arts can fight at so my enemy was left defenceless.

Have you ever observed water carefully? Have you noticed how they would flow to fill any openings or gaps in space?

I was like that water. It was impossible to guard everywhere so I was able to find openings with ease. With each hit inflicted, my emotionless enemy got closer and closer to despair.

My attacks were relentless like flowing water.

Water does not stop until it reaches the ocean.

The giant body of stillness where my opponents would sink forever, abandoned to drown at its infinite depth and left to be crushed at its unimaginable weight.

The ocean was death.

.

.

.

But I never got to that part because my broken body which has been working through pure adrenaline decided to say, 'Fuck you, I am sleeping.'

My legs became noodles right after I delivered a kick to my enemy's knee which bent it the wrong way and we both fell down together.

I fell but so did my opponent.

*Thud*

"Oh fuck me, I am going to feel this tomorrow." I grumbled as I made small efforts to move away from my opponent.

The guy was not moving but I will not feel safe until I am at least a few countries away from that fucking human.

{I think its over.} I heard the author say in my mind.

{He has passed out. I think the effect of the drug had worn off}

I stopped worming away from the enemy when I heard that. "Really?"

I got an affirmation from the author.

"So that means the fight is a draw." I said with a bloody smile as I finally allowed my body to become numb and unmoving.

{Eh? That's pushing it. I wouldn't call it a draw, more like you survived.}

"Nah, its a draw. Right Daniel?" I said and like any unconscious person, he answered me with silence.

{....}

"See? Its a draw." Because everyone knows silence is yes.

{*sigh* The things written in this story are for entertainment purposes only so do not take it seriously. I better not find rapists defending themselves in the court by quoting 'Silence means yes'}

"Pft- hahahaha....." I started laughing but such activity hurts so I just opened my mouth and laughed silently.

.

.

.

.

.

I changed my mind. This was not a draw.

"I won." I declared with a smile.

{Here we go again.}
