Thank you/Sorry

[Yuito's POV]

I opened my eyes to examine the place I found myself in. It was a white room with the bare minimum furnitures.

The smell of medicine and ill people assaulted my nose and I quickly realized that I was in a hospital. I looked to my side and saw an IV holder but it was not used, meaning no one poked things inside me while I slept.

'Hehe.'

Then I noticed the head of a girl who was laying her head on the mattress while she sat beside the bed. She was sleeping and it seemed she stayed by my side the whole time.

It was Tsukimi.

I decided not to wake her up while I also thought about her parents. I wonder how they would react since she seemed to spend the night with me.

I remember her parents would be extremely pissed and overreact whenever she spent too much time in the school for club activities after school hours.

I looked towards the clock and saw that it was 5:42 in the morning. The sun was already shining through the window of the room.

'So I was out for like a solid 12 hours.' I noted while feeling my body. It was sore beyond belief and hurt when I tensed up.

It was the kind of pain that hurts but makes you want to do it again and again. So I did just that and tensed my muscles multiple times

I turned my eyes to the sleeping Tsukimi and I stared at her in amazement. She was laying her head on the bed but she did not use her arms.

Her boobs were on the bed and she somehow used it as a pillow with her head nestled snugly in between her two mounds. I don't care what other people say but it was one of the coolest things I have seen a girl do.

Then the Author brought me out of my trance, {Buddy, how are you feeling?}

I looked at my arms and other parts of my body which were covered fully with bandages. I looked like a mummy, even my face was covered.

'I'm fine, just a bit fatigued but I should recover quickly with my high vitality.' I said in my mind.

I was in a half-sleeping, half-sitting position and the bed seemed to be adjusted like so. I could tell from that that I had a rib fracture as it was better to sleep upright with broken ribs.

Broken ribs, jaw, etc were common injuries for a fighter.

I pushed myself back on the bed to get into a better position and in the process, I woke up Tsukimi.

She groggily opened her eyes before they snapped wide open when she realized the situation. She looked at me with worried eyes but did not throw herself at me for a hug or whatsoever, which I knew she wanted to do as she flinched and leaned towards me almost immediately but stopped herself at the last second.

Instead, she asked softly, "How are you feeling?"

"I feel like a mummy but other than that, I am fine." I said with a muffled voice because the bandage covered my mouth too.

"You had me scared. The doctor said you would be out for a few days."

Of course, the doctor said that and it would be true if I was a normal person. But I had a high vitality and I was also using the sun breathing all the time now after I hit mastery.

It was not at 100% effectiveness but I have achieved constant breathing. This worked to heal my injuries faster than a normal person.

"Thanks for worrying about me but I am okay." I said, "I've been through worse."

She smiled "I see."

"..."

"..."

It is amazing how things could suddenly turn awkward between two people. One moment you were talking and after 3 seconds you could hear cricket sounds due to how awkward it was.

"Well, since you woke up now, I should stop bothering you and let you rest." she said, shuffling as she tried to get up and leave.

'A bother?'

"You are not bothering me, rather I am extremely grateful for what you did for me." I told her and she stopped.

"I would probably still be lying in that alley if you had not come. Thank you."

Her eyes shook and tears pooled in her eyes but she was good at holding it back. I could also see the myriads of emotions behind the fresh pool of tears like guilt, regret, and love.

She probably still blamed herself and was guilty about what happened between us but she honestly shouldn't be.

God knows I've done worse things, like way worse things so I was in no position to judge her or have a superior ground over her.

I went scott-free for the same things she did so there was no reason for her to torture herself with it.

People make mistakes, and relationships, most of the time do not work. That's just reality. No need to be an immature brat who hates those who hurt him and acts like he never hurt someone else.

"And thank you for the mochis you gave me. They were delicious." I said with a smile that she could not see due to the bandages,

"Wha-!" she looked flustered and her cheeks were dusted red.

'Does she think I didn't know? I am not that dense.'

"I didn't know you could cook that well. The last time I remembered you burned down your kitchen set when you were in the cooking club."

"Umm-" she fidgets, "I am glad you like it. I can make mochi but I can't cook other dishes well."

"Well, good thing the one thing you cook well is my favorite food." I said and she just nodded.

"Oh, by the way here is your phone." She pulled out my phone out of nowhere and gave it to me, "I found it in the alley."

I checked my phone and there was a crack in the screen but it was still working. I did not mind the cracked screen as it was about time I bought a new phone anyway.

"And I also called your mother and informed her about your condition. The doctors were saying I need to call you-"

"Wait, you did what!!" I said out loud and she flinched back, "S-Sorry shouldn't I have done that?" she asked meekly.

I shut my mouth immediately and calmed myself when I saw her panic. "No, sorry. You did nothing wrong, it's good that you informed her."

I could already imagine Sumire's reaction when she heard about the news. She must be worried sick about me.

I would've liked it if it was kept a secret until I was back home but I guess it couldn't be helped.

I opened my phone and looked at the call log and Tsukimi called my mother 11 hours ago. I pressed on it and tried to call her and tell her not to worry.

But my call wouldn't connect and I was pretty sure of why. She must be on her way to Korea, it was something I would expect that Yandere milf to do.

I sighed and put down my phone.

"Sorry." Tsukimi said with a sad smile, "It seemed I have done something I shouldn't have."

"Well, it can't be helped. She would've found out anyway, it was just a matter of time."  I gave her a smile that should reassure her.

"Yes, I understand she must be worried. I would be too."

"Well, you know her. Always too worried and overprotective of her only son." I said, "Remember that one time she hired bodyguards when we went to school camping?"

She tugged her hair behind her ear and smiled, her eyes looked far away as she remembered our field trip when we were in elementary, "Yeah, and you lied about fighting a wendigo and showed deer antlers you found in the forest as proof. The other kids literally worshipped the grounds you walk on."

I laughed remembering that. A 17-year-old guy reincarnating and having to spend a field trip with a bunch of elementary kids. You can only imagine how much I troll those poor kids with my mature mind.

"And you claimed that the tent you were sleeping in was haunted so you wouldn't have to share it with the other kids." She laughed, " You said you would face the ghost alone and slept in the tent. Everyone else was scared and thought you were a hero, but in reality, you just wanted to have the tent all by yourself."

"Even I believed it and was scared back then." She shook her head in amusement.

"Really? You were scared too? But you were so insistent on sleeping in the same tent with me for whatever reason. So I never actually had my alone time."

She blushed when I mentioned that, "Sorry I was so clingy back then."

We talked about our childhood and our conversation continued with no awkward moment. It was fun recalling them and hearing about other's perspectives on how I behaved back then.

Tsukimi was probably the only friend I had growing up. I said, friend but it was more like I was taking care of her because she was a shy girl who was bullied by others.

She was always more developed and more physically mature than her age, causing her to be the biggest kid in our grade. Kids would often call her Goliath and other names.

And with my mature self, I couldn't see her getting bullied like that so I just adopted her and decided to take care of her.

When I really think about it, I was basically grooming her, wasn't I? Rather unsuccessfully with how things turn out between us of course but still.

'But FBI, I swear to God I only see her as my little sister when she was a kid!!'.

.

.

.

'Wait, that made it worse.'

We had the conversation for nearly an hour until Tsukimi looked at the clock and told me she had to leave.

"Sorry, I really have to go now. If I don't go home soon my parents will file a missing report. They might've even done it already?" She said with a strained smile and eyes that told me how much she hated leaving.

"I hope you get well soon." She bowed down to me in Japanese style but she bowed a little lower than she wanted, I think due to the weight of her boobs.

I hope she has a license for them. Those weapons were no joke.

Then she turned around and left the room, leaving a huge silence behind. I just stared at the door for a few extra seconds before I laid back down on the bed, tired.

{Is it true that you once asked the kids to bring their mother's panties for you if they wanted to be your underling?} The author asked in a weirded-out tone.

He was referring to one of the incidents that happened when I was a kid. He must've listened in on our conversation.

"Yes, I indeed asked some of the boys who had hot moms to bring their mother's panties. It was supposed to be a joke, I didn't know they would actually bring them." I said, "All of them were used too since they couldn't reach their mother's drawer and had to take it from the laundry box."

{Wait, how did you know they were used?}

"That is not the point!!" I ignored the question like I ignored that I was always blinking.

"The point is, I took responsibility and went to each of their house to return the panties and apologized to the mothers. That's how I acquired my title, [The polite pervert]."

{Okay, but how did you know they were us-}

"Argh, I feel tired so I'm going to sleep." I said and pretend to sleep as the Author continued asking the same question non stop in my head.

But I was the master of ignorance.

I stayed with my eyes closed for some time and just when I was going to slip back to sleep for real, a tornado enterened my room.

*BAM!!!!*

My eyes snapped wide as the door was slammed open and few sheets of paper flew in the air. I looked around for the enemy but I only saw a purple blur that came at me like a missle.

Then I felt the warm embrace of both a lover and a mother. It was two of the best feelings impossibly combined into one embrace.

"Yuito~ Wahhh~" Sumire crashed on the bed and buried my face in her breast.

My nose caught her familiar flowery scent and the smell of her sweet and sour sweat full of feminity.

My body relaxed as I hugged her back. She cried while hugging me.

"I'm sorry Yuito~ I am so sorry for leaving you~" She apologized for dear life while she sobbed,

I felt myself tearing up too, seeing how much pain I caused her for carelessly picking a fight with someone i knew I couldn't win against.

Although I got stronger, I never want it to be at the expanse of her suffering.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." I apologised sincerely to her too.

We both just embraced each other on that hospital bed, apologizing to each other.

In the end, she couldn't take it anymore and screamed at me to stop apologizing. She tore open my bndage and sealed my mouth with hers to stop the words from coming out.

She fed me her tongue with vigor and passion while I felt tears mixed with the kiss as well.

It was the reunion of both a mother and a lover.

"I missed you so much." I told her when we separated from the kiss to which she whined and quickly sealed my mouth again.

Author : I wrote this chapter four different times so it may feel chopped up.

I went to the doctor and turns out I have sever Hypertension.

I have no problem in my diet and I am still young, so it seems to be due to lack of sleep and stress. So apparently they suspect I am overworked.

Which is kind of true as I have been busy writing extra chapters and with two ongoing series while I also in the middle of exam.

But worry not, I have been taking proper rest and putting a hiatus on my other novel Marvel.

I should be healthy again soon.

Thank you for reading
