Chapter 169. Overstimulated
Succubi Chapter 169. Overstimulated
My phone alarm sounded like a dying banshee being strangled by responsibility.
Shrill. Persistent. Judgemental.
My brain, still floating somewhere between dreamland and “why did I do that again at 3:47 AM,” reacted violently.
No.
Absolutely not.
Not now.
My mind screamed it first. My body second.
My hand flopped sideways across the bed, blindly searching the side table like a drunk mage looking for a missing wand. My fingers knocked over something metallic, almost dropped my phone, then finally found it.
Snooze.
Silence.
I fell back into the pillow like a warrior collapsing after battle.
Ten minutes later.
The alarm returned.
Louder.
More personal.
My eye twitched open just enough to confirm reality was still unfortunately real. I groaned, rolled halfway onto my stomach, and smacked the phone again.
Snooze.
Darkness reclaimed me.
Third time?
I didn’t even open my eyes.
Just reached.
Smacked.
Snooze.
At that point I felt less like a Pride demon and more like a reluctant undead who had just been summoned by an inexperienced necromancer.
“Arise, ancient one—”
“No.”
“Your kingdom needs you—”
“Five more minutes.”
When I finally did wake up for real, it wasn’t the alarm that did it.
It was the strange, heavy hum under my skin.
I blinked slowly at the ceiling, staring at the faint cracks in the ceiling above my bed.
No, it wasn’t there last night. So something must be happened during the sex.
My body felt wrecked.
Used.
Overstimulated.
Sleep deprived.
And yet…
Stronger.
That was the weird part.
I only slept like three hours. Maybe less. The night had blurred into heat and breath and tangled sheets and that slow, dangerous way Evelyn had smiled when she realized I wasn’t stopping.
But underneath the exhaustion, I could feel something flowing in my veins.
Power.
Not dramatic. Not explosive.
Just… thicker.
Denser.
I exhaled slowly.
Right.
The system.
Last night had been chaos. Notifications flashing mid movement. Stats increasing while I was too busy to care. I ignored most of it because stopping to check menus in the middle of… that… felt like committing a crime.
I would check later.
When my brain wasn’t scrambled eggs.
I yawned, stretching one arm lazily, and turned my head toward the empty space beside me.
“Good morning, Evelyn,” I muttered automatically.
Silence.
Cold sheets.
No wings.
No tail flicking against my leg.
She was gone.
Of course she was gone.
Succubus logic.
Feed. Bond. Sleep a couple of hours. Wake up refreshed and emotionally stable while your Pride demon boyfriend looks like a corpse that forgot to die.
I stared at the empty pillow for a moment.
Last night replayed in fragments.
Her voice.
Not just the moans. The softer sounds after. The way she laughed quietly when I tried to act composed. The way her fingers traced my chest like she was memorizing it.
I swear I made her more than moan.
Her voice had turned sweet near the end.
Not teasing.
Not dominant.
Just… soft.
I rolled onto my back again and stared at the ceiling.
Dangerous memory.
I exhaled sharply and forced myself upright.
“Well,” I muttered, rubbing my face. “At least I’m not late.”
Small victories.
Like a decent student, I grabbed last night’s pants from the floor. The ones that had survived the chaos. Threw them on. No shirt. Why bother?
I scooped up my bath necessities and stepped out into the hallway like I wasn’t the only male in an all female succubus dorm.
Hair wild.
Eyes half open.
Topless.
Why?
Because this Pride demon was too tired to argue about modesty after an all nighter.
The hallway smelled like early morning incense. Soft chatter drifted from somewhere distant. Someone laughed.
I walked toward the bathroom with the slow confidence of a man who had accepted fate.
The door was unlocked.
I stepped inside.
Steam lingered lightly in the air. The marble tiles were cool under my feet. I dropped my things near one sink and stared at my reflection in the mirror.
Hair: disaster.
Neck: suspiciously marked.
Expression: emotionally unstable but pretending not to be.
I grabbed my toothbrush and started brushing with mechanical focus.
Foam.
Mint.
Brain still loading.
That was the best way to describe it.
Everything felt half a second delayed.
My thoughts were slower.
Heavier.
Not bad.
Just… processing.
Toothbrush still in my mouth. Brain still buffering.
Mint foam. Blank stare. Zero survival instincts online.
The shared bathroom was basically a normal house setup. One shower. One sink counter stretched long enough for chaos. One mirror that reflected poor life choices at high resolution.
The shower was already running.
Hot water hitting tile. Steam drifting outward.
I barely registered it.
I leaned over the sink, brushing lazily, eyes half open, watching my reflection look like a demon who absolutely made decisions last night.
Then…
A voice from behind the fogged glass partition.
“Ah,” it said lazily. “So you’re getting used to this dorm.”
My toothbrush paused mid stroke.
“…No privacy,” the voice added.
I froze.
Slowly, very slowly, I turned my head toward the source.
The shower curtain was half drawn.
Steam curled through the air, soft and thick, backlit by warm light.
And there she was.
Val.
Inside the shower.
Water running over her shoulders, down her body in slow, deliberate lines. No towel. No hesitation. No attempt to hide.
Naked.
Completely.
And entirely unbothered.
My brain stopped.
Restarted.
Then crashed again.
Toothbrush still in my mouth.
Mint foam threatening to drip.
“Oh,” I said.
Very intelligent.
Very dignified.
She peeked slightly past the curtain, one eyebrow already lifting as her smirk formed.
“Usually you’re the one complaining about shared bathrooms,” she said, voice smooth and amused. “Now you just walk in like you own the place.”
I blinked.
Right.
Ironic.
Very ironic.
I spat into the sink mechanically, rinsed my mouth, then pointed vaguely at my head.
“My brain is still in loading mode,” I said.
She laughed softly, water still running behind her.
“Clearly.”
I stared at the mirror instead of her.
Which was difficult.
Because steam did not fully hide silhouettes.
And Pride demon or not, I was still very aware of the fact that I had just walked into a bathroom where Val was showering like this was perfectly normal.
And the worst part?
It kind of was normal here.
