Chapter 135. I’m a Gentleman
Succubi Chapter 135. I’m a Gentleman
I was already backing up toward the edge of the dome, mentally preparing a half-assed excuse involving reincarnation, magical puberty, and maybe throwing in something about being allergic to truth spells.
“Besides…” He pointed to the buns and said it like a crime scene accusation. “Those buns aren’t even mine!”
The betrayal in his voice was so raw I almost flinched. The way he said it… it wasn’t even about the buns anymore. It was the tone of a man who just got a surprise baby delivered to his front door with a sticky note saying "Your turn. Please pay child support."
“They’re not mine,” he repeated, like I’d trapped him in a carb related paternity suit.
“I never said they were yours!” I shouted back, defensive as hell. “I just hope you still care for them!”
He crossed his arms. “Food hoarding is illegal on school grounds.”
I tched. “Never heard of that rule!”
I was about to argue more when…
A voice purred across the battlefield like a warm silk sheet sliding over bare skin.
“That’s so cold, Callahan~”
My entire skeleton locked up.
I knew that voice.
I knew that voice the way a mouse knows the sound of a cat stretching its claws behind the curtains.
The dome around us didn’t just flicker.
It shattered.
With a sound like shattering glass dipped in moonlight.
Gone. Just like that. One second I was trapped in a mana arena, the next I was standing on normal gravel again like none of it ever happened.
And stepping through the glittering mana dust like a goddess emerging from a bath of sparkles…
Lilith.
My dorm mother.
My way too hot dorm mother.
The woman who made aphrodisiac candles look underdressed.
She was wearing this long black satin nightdress that clung to her curves like it was scared to let go. A deep red night robe draped off her shoulders, just barely hanging on by sheer willpower or black magic. Her hair was loose, flowing like an erotic shampoo commercial, and her lips curled into this smile that screamed, "I'm here to ruin your night and you’ll thank me."
She walked toward us, slow, graceful, every motion making the temperature rise ten degrees. My brain was screaming.
I turned to Callahan to say "Okay this isn’t what it looks like" and saw…
His eyes.
They were locked. No, glued to her boobs.
Mouth slightly open. Eyes wide.
Expression?
A dumbstruck puppy who just got shown a tennis ball made of boobs.
His wand hand dropped to his side like it gave up. His posture relaxed like his soul had left the chat.
The final boss energy? Gone.
Replaced by thirsty side character trying to win favor from the sexy villainess.
Lilith stopped right in front of us and smiled at him.
“Evan brought the buns for me, Professor,” she said sweetly. “It’s midnight already… let him bring them to my room, won’t you?”
I opened my mouth to say something like "Yes, I brought the sacred buns because I’m a gentleman," but I didn’t get the chance.
Because Callahan…
That bastard…
He wagged his metaphorical tail.
His voice cracked like he hadn’t spoken to a woman since puberty. “U-Uh… b-b-boobs. I mean— uh, buns. Wait. What? No. Barrier! I mean, he… he summoned a barrier!”
Lilith tilted her head, smile never fading. “What barrier~?” she said with a purr that could melt steel.
Callahan’s brain fried.
Right in front of me.
Like, poof.
Gone.
The man blinked, sputtered, then stammered, “A-Ancient… Barrier. It was ancient! Architecture… mana layering… not normal…”
She blinked innocently, then turned her full gaze on me. “Oh~ that one.”
Callahan leaned forward, desperate. “You know it?! He said it just appeared! No glyph! No chant! No prep! That’s not how magic works!”
Lilith laughed softly, the sound curling around our ears like velvet.
“I’m the one who taught him,” she said calmly.
My mouth opened. Then closed.
Callahan, poor bastard, looked like someone just unplugged his entire worldview and poured wine over it.
“Y-You taught him?” he echoed. “H-How?!”
Lilith didn’t answer.
She just smiled.
Then took a step forward.
Then another.
Then… she hugged me.
My face?
Right.
Between.
Her.
Boobs.
“Like this~”
I froze.
My entire body locked up. Instinct said push her away. Pride demon instinct said ‘you are a noble creature, Evan, not some flustered virgin.’
But the rest of my brain?
The 99.9% that wasn’t pride and was instead pure hormonal teenage demon?
Yeah. That part said ‘stay right where you are.’
I didn’t move.
Didn’t breathe.
Didn’t blink.
Just listened to the silence of the universe as Callahan internally combusted beside us.
His hands were twitching. His wand buzzed with unfired spells. His eye twitched so hard I thought he was going to explode in sparkles.
I even raised one hand and gave him a little thumbs up from inside the boob prison.
Because if I was going down?
I was going down like a hero.
Callahan’s mouth opened and closed. He gestured wildly, failed to form words, then finally shouted, “THIS IS AN ABUSE OF AUTHORITY!”
Lilith giggled and patted my head. “It’s part of my dorm mother duties. Emotional support.”
“You’re hugging his face!” Callahan shrieked. “I want it too…” he added with much lower voice.
“Well, he seemed stressed~” she said innocently, bouncing slightly.
I made a noise. It was not human.
Callahan pointed at me. “This! This is exactly why I knew something was off! You! You’re not just some random student!”
Lilith tilted her head. “Who said he was random?”
I was never making it out of this school alive.
Callahan stomped forward, glaring at me like I’d stolen his favorite bookmark and rubbed it between my thighs. “What are you?”
“I’m just a student,” I said quickly.
He squinted. “Student of what?!” he whined, clearly jealous.
I didn’t even have to answer. The sheer boob envy radiating off him was enough to light up the courtyard.
“I study pain,” I said dryly.
Callahan groaned. “Do you think if I failed a class she’d hug me like that?”
I gave him a long, judging stare. “You are a professor. The teacher. You can’t fail a class.”
He staggered by that cruel fact. ”This is… not happening. No… please… I also want that.”
The man was hopeless.
Utterly, tragically hopeless.
