Battle of Multiverse Part 17

‘This is not enough. Even if I have to blind both of my eyes, I must kill him here.’

Sasuke thought to himself as he looked at Zoro with a serious gaze.

Although he knew blinding his eyes would weaken his combat strength, as long as he could finish Zoro in his next attack, that would be enough.

His only goal was to win this battle. As long as he could win here, he could go back in the past with all of his power.

Despite being a ninja, he had no choice but to believe in this.

Because he could feel the changes in his eyes. He was training them, making them stronger.

Now, even with blind eyes, he would be able to use Susanno. He could do this simply because he had understood the complexity of Susanno in battle.

After all, Susanno was just a Jutsu. It was a powerful Jutsu but still within a Ninjutsu.

As long as he could spend more time with it, he could easily learn to produce it.

Susanno was the forbidden power of the Uchiha, the Power of God, because it could only be used for a short moment.

It would place a huge burden on the user’s eyes.

Madara could do this because he spent his entire life using Susanno.

Sasuke could do this because he had spent several hours using Susanno.

Unlike Madara, who used it once in a while, Sasuke was continuously using it.

So, despite using it for shorter times, his constant use helped him understand this power.

Suddenly, he dashed forward. His body turned into a bolt of lightning as he approached Zoro from the right side.

He dropped a smoke bomb using his left hand.

His one eye opened the Mangekyo while his one hand held Chidori as he charged straight towards Zoro’s shoulder.

But Zoro stepped back and dodged the attack. Suddenly, another Sasuke appeared from behind and thrusted Chidori into Zoro’s back.

‘What?’

Zoro’s pupils shrank rapidly.

If it was a normal person, he would’ve jumped forward without much hesitation. After all, the Chidori had already reached his back.

But Zoro believed in his intuition. He knew something was up with Sasuke in the back. He just couldn’t pinpoint what it was.

Even his Observation Haki was giving him a strong warning from the Sasuke behind him.

Even so, he simply channeled Armament Haki into his back, bracing himself for the impact.

Since Sasuke was moving at the speed of lightning, he couldn’t be fast enough to raise his sword or hand to counterattack.

Only Haki could be used instantaneously.

Bang! Thud!

The Sasuke from the back struck him with Chidori, but most of the power was blocked by the Armament Haki.

Although his hand managed to slightly pierce his skin, it wasn’t deadly or even a serious injury.

At the same time, another Sasuke appeared in front of him.

Both of his eyes were white, but he had placed himself just in front of Zoro, his hand holding black Chidori.

A Chidori with Amaterasu and Curse Seal Chakra.

The Chidori hand didn’t even reach Zoro.

Whoosh! Splash!

Zoro unsheathed the Wado Ichimonji, channeling Armament Haki into it before he swung it towards Sasuke.

Sasuke’s head fell to the ground.

Although Zoro killed his enemy, for some reason, he didn’t feel right about it.

He closed his eyes, concentrating his Observation Haki to its fullest as he sensed every single presence around him.

‘Is this your last bet?’

At this moment, his Future Sight saw what’s gonna happen next. Unlike Basic Observation Haki, the Future Sight could truly see the future.

Zoro saw Sasuke appearing in front of him in two seconds.

Two, one…..

Sasuke appeared. His body was surrounded by Susanno as he swung both of his Susanno blades towards Zoro.

There was no chance of dodging this attack. Zoro concentrated all of his power into the three swords.

One on his mouth, one on his left hand, the other on his right hand.

Armament Haki and Conqueror Haki coating appeared on his swords.

Without much hesitation, he started spinning all three of his swords in front of him.

[The nine mountains and eight seas constitute one world! A thousand of them form a small chiliocosm! And when I gather and cube that chiliocosm, there is nothing I can’t cut!]

[Three Swords Style]

Suddenly, Zoro’s body dashed forward at an extreme speed. Before Sasuke Susanno’s swords even fell, Zoro had already reached in front of him.

[Great Three Thousand Great Thousand Worlds]

A powerful sword light emerged from Zoro’s sword.

They tore through Sasuke’s Susanno and Sasuke himself before reaching behind.

Splash!

With most of his Chakra used on his Susanno, Sasuke barely had any Chakra on his body. Although it was recovering rapidly, it was still too slow.

After all, not even five seconds had passed since Sasuke used his Susanno.

Without the defense of the Chakra, his body was cut in half as the Susanno dispersed around him.

Thud!

Zoro landed on the ground while pulling out the sword from his mouth and placing it into the sheath.

At the same time, he turned around and stared at Sasuke, whose body was cut in half.

During this battle, Sasuke literally bet everything on his two-step strategy.

He blinded him to gain the power to appear in front of him even though his real body was still behind him.

Unfortunately, Zoro didn’t fear his Chidori. He only feared the consequences of not listening to his intuition.

Zoro was a beast, and Sasuke never understood that.

He would rather trust his intuition than his own Observation Haki. So, he didn’t move forward, which was why Sasuke’s attack didn’t reach him.

Even so, Sasuke already had another strategy where he appeared in front of Zoro within ten seconds of his death with Susanno.

His goal was simple.

Die once and lower his guard! Sasuke couldn’t give him more time to move around, so he had to appear in ten seconds.

He knew Zoro’s Observation Haki would only be powerful if it was actively used. Otherwise, it would only trigger if there was a killing intent against him.

Normal Observation Haki wouldn’t be able to predict his appearance. So, his goal was to let his guard down and appear just right in front of him.

After all, without eyes, he couldn’t chase after Zoro, and if he had to chase after Zoro, it meant his strategy was bound to fail.

Unfortunately, he didn’t realize Zoro never let his guard down.

Zoro released a deep breath.

He had two wounds, both from Sasuke’s Chidori, but they weren’t big wounds.

He felt like he didn’t even need to rest.

In other words, unlike Sanji, his opponent was pretty weak.

Any opponent who couldn’t push him to his absolute limit would be considered weak.

Sasuke had some serious trump cards, but none of them landed on Zoro.

This was the power of Future Sight.

Sasuke’s Mangekyo could only give him a strong dynamic vision and precognition based on the opponent’s Chakra flow.

Zoro didn’t have Chakra. He could see Zoro’s movements, but that didn’t mean he could predict them like Future Sight.

From the beginning, he wasn’t supposed to be Zoro’s opponent.

“I have to go and help Luffy.”

Zoro muttered before running towards the battlefield of Luffy and Naruto.

This was the only battle left, but it was also the most terrifying battle.

Two people were exchanging blow after blow, but Zoro could see that the one in a golden-red cloak was dominating Luffy.

Even with all of his power, Gear Fifth and Haki, Luffy was no match.

More importantly, he was being constantly pushed out of his Gear Fifth, forcing him to consume his life force just to stay in the Gear Fifth

So, how did it get here?
