Battle of Multiverse Part 16

At this moment, a massive bolt of lightning took the shape of a Kirin, rushing towards the ground as if it wanted to devour it.

When the lightning rained down, it turned into a massive stream that shattered around the ground.

As the lightning slowly dissipated, Zoro was standing there.

That’s right! Zoro just stood there; not even a part of his skin was burned. He stared up at Sasuke and sneered.

He didn’t speak, but his expression said it all.

‘Your lightning can barely light up that cook’s cigarette. Try something stronger!’

Sasuke’s expression darkened. He couldn’t understand how a human being could take an attack like that.

With Itachi, he could understand. It was Susanno, but with Zoro, he was only using Armament Haki.

In the world of One Piece, there were crazy attacks where even space could be cut apart.

But Law, who could control anything within his room, wasn’t even able to teleport Big Mom or Kaido because of their Haki.

Between two powerhouses, the battle wasn’t about their abilities but about how strong their Haki is.

It’s the same as Aizen saying, ‘Soul Reapers’ battles are battles of spiritual energy’.

Yes, Luffy needed Gear Fifth to defeat Kaido, but most people often forget one simple thing.

Kaido was at his peak. He was from the Oni race. Luffy was nineteen. In his twelve years of training, he received proper training for only two years.

And that was from a pirate, not even a Marine. Yes, Garp trained him, but it was only to increase his endurance.

He didn’t train Luffy as he did with Coby and Kuzan.

So, it wasn’t that Luffy needed Gear Fifth to defeat Kaido. He needed advanced Conqueror Haki to fight Kaido.

If Luffy had been given more time to make his Gear Fourth stronger, he could’ve won against Kaido with just Gear Fourth.

So, Haki was the most important power for a powerhouse. Zoro’s is even more refined than Liam’s and Luffy’s.

Yes, Luffy and Liam’s Haki was bigger, and their usage was more advanced. Their Haki was also stronger.

But Zoro’s Haki was refined. He could use the same level of Haki for ten thousand slashes, without any fluctuation of Haki in any of his slashes.

Zoro was able to achieve such a level of control due to his systematic and rigorous training in his childhood.

That’s why in this world and in the original timeline, Zoro was easily able to learn Advanced Armament Haki and Advanced Conqueror Haki.

Even though Sasuke used one of his strongest attacks, it wasn’t strong enough to break Zoro’s Armament Haki.

Of course, Zoro did use more Armament Haki, stacking it like paper to form a stronger armor around his body.

Sanji had two different forms of lightning attacks. His normal lightning attacks, where he could generate his own lightning.

And lightning attacks where he could generate lightning from the clouds. Of course, this was much stronger than his normal attacks.

But using Usopp’s technology, Sanji could generate the clouds at any place he wished, without Ark Maxim.

Thus, Sanji could launch powerful lightning attacks in a sparring match with Zoro. That’s why when Sasuke used Kirin, Zoro stacked his Armament Haki.

But he overestimated Sasuke’s attack. In this attack, Sasuke didn’t increase the power of lightning; he simply guided it.

While natural lightning was powerful, it was nowhere near the power of lightning enhanced by the Devil Fruit.

That’s why Zoro didn’t even suffer an inch of injury.

Sasuke took a deep breath and released his Susanno. Since his Kirin didn’t work, he would rely on his Susanno to kill Zoro.

Zoro dashed in front of him, swinging his three swords, and collided with Sasuke’s Susanno’s sword.

The collision was strong, but neither of them got pushed around. Susanno was already a powerful jutsu, while Zoro had immense leg and arm strength.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

They continued colliding their weapons, creating shockwaves after shockwaves.

This started pushing Sasuke to his limit. His mastery over his Susanno also grew stronger. Although his vision was going blurry, his recovery helped him stay in the battle.

As he pushed his Mangekyo Sharingan to its absolute limit, his eyes released an immense amount of pupil power.

His Chakra began depleting rapidly, and a huge shockwave emerged from his body.

Zoro instantly jumped away and dodged the sword slash.

At this moment, a gigantic figure stood in front of him.

Yes, stood!

Sasuke pushed his Mangekyo Sharingan to its absolute limit, awakening the fourth stage of the Susanno.

The final stage was impossible to achieve with his current Sharingan, but this was possible.

Only those who have gone through countless battles and have mastered the usage of Chakra and Yin Release to a very high level could do it.

Sasuke didn’t fulfil this condition, but he fulfilled another condition.

The bigger the emotion, the stronger his Susanno.

Although he didn’t have any hatred against Zoro, his desire to save his clan was important.

So, he wanted to go back in time with the power of his current self. Only then could he save his family.

That strong desire fueled his Mangekyo Sharingan.

Thanks to the recovery function of this body, he was able to reach the point where his Susanno Mastery got closer to Madara.

Sasuke didn’t laugh. He didn’t taunt Zoro. He had only one desire.

Kill Zoro and save his family!

No words were spoken. The Susanno sword rose above the clouds and swung down with an immense force.

[One Gorilla]

[Two Gorillas]

Suddenly, both of his biceps got bigger as he took the pose of a gorilla.

[Three Swords Style]

[Two-Strong Strength Slash]

Zoro swung both of his swords, and the tips of his swords met, generating an immense force in his swords.

Bang!

The moment Susanno’s sword struck down, Zoro, using his two swords, managed to hold his own against Susanno’s attack.

Ding!

Then, with the sword on his mouth and swinging his neck at a right angle, he managed to push back Susanno’s sword.

Although Sasuke was standing on the cockpit of his Susanno, he was still stunned upon seeing this.

‘How can a human do something like this?’

If Zoro had dodged this attack or even used something else to block it, he would’ve accepted it.

But Zoro simply increased the size of his muscles and blocked his attack. If it were similar to Akimichi’s Jutsu, he would’ve accepted it as well.

But Zoro wasn’t using Chakra. He wasn’t even using Haki to enhance his strength. It was simply raw physical strength that stopped Susanno’s sword.

Sasuke didn’t dwell on this matter for long. Using his newly formed leg, he started pushing Zoro back.

Using his legs, Sasuke was able to generate more power in his sword. Although Zoro could counter them, he was lacking in terms of strength.

Because of this, Sasuke quickly regained his confidence and began charging more and more attacks.

At the same time, his eyes began burning like hell. He was able to hold his own against Zoro, but not for long.

It was not only hurting him, but it was also blurring his vision. Although the process was slow, it was still there.

Facing this situation, Sasuke just wanted to finish this battle as quickly as possible. Because Zoro wasn’t just going to let him win.

Using his Advanced Conqueror Haki and Advanced Armament Haki, Zoro started breaking his Susanno.

That’s right! Even Susanno’s defense wasn’t strong enough to hold against Zoro’s advanced Conqueror Haki attack.

But Sasuke was able to hold his own against him by constantly using more of his attacks.

Suddenly, Sasuke wove strange hand signs, and his body disappeared.

Zoro looked around. He didn’t feel any danger, but he could feel something strange with Sasuke.

Because Sasuke’s presence had completely disappeared. Even with his Observation Haki, he couldn’t sense it.

Until suddenly, his future sight showed him a vision of danger. It happened so fast that Zoro’s body barely moved.

Splash!

[Chidori]

A sharp lightning blade pierced through the very right side of his chest. Before Zoro could move his hand, Sasuke pulled it out of his hand and dashed away.

“Cough!”

Zoro coughed up some blood and touched the hole that Sasuke had made. Fortunately, it didn’t go through the other side.

He quickly tore his t-shirt and wrapped it around his upper body.

At this moment, Sasuke stared at Zoro with an unbelievable expression. Sasuke wasn’t an idiot like Danzo.

After seeing Zoro’s prediction, he had timed his attack perfectly so that he could take out Zoro’s heart in one attack.

But Zoro’s prediction was still one step ahead. In fact, if his body were slightly stronger, he would’ve dodged Sasuke’s attack.

What’s even crazier to Sasuke was that this was all physical strength, not even the strength enhanced by some other kind of energy.

He raised his right hand and touched his right eye, which was completely blind.

That’s right! Sasuke used the Izanagi that he learned from Danzo to finish this battle.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough.
