Luffy’s Journey in Impel Down Part 17

"Are you kidding me? I have seen many ridiculous things, but this just doesn't make sense at all."

Ivankov shouted but stopped.

'Could it be that he was affected by Nika's power? After all, Nika was praised as a God of Liberation. Since he was called god, he must have similar powers, right?'

"Anyway, I need to find my brother."

Luffy said with a hurried tone.

At this moment, Galdino, Bon Clay, and Buggy nodded. They weren't heavily injured since it was Luffy who fought most of the time.

But as soon as they nodded, they felt weak and fell to the ground.

"Bon Chan, Buggy, Galdino! What happened to you guys?"

Luffy hugged them and asked.

"They were too tired of screaming. You know they had been taking care of you this entire time. Unlike you, they are normal people. So, naturally, they would get tired."

Hearing that, Luffy nodded with understanding and looked at the three of them with a solemn expression.

"Can you take care of them for me? I will be back with my brother."

At this moment, Ivankov nodded and said.

"Don't worry, my people will be taking care of them. I have already asked Inazuma about the departure time of Ace Boy. "

Hearing that, Luffy raised his eyebrows and asked.

"Are you taking me to Level Six? Is it because of my father?"

Ivankov nodded and said.

"I am one of your father's friends, the leader in the Revolutionary Army. That's why I was imprinted. As such, I have a duty to support you in your task. I can't allow the son of my comrade to go to his death before my very eyes."

"But is it okay to do that? I will be fine on my own. Besides, I have never met my dad before. You are Kuma's friend. I don't want you to get in trouble."

Luffy said with a serious expression.

Ivankov immediately showed tears in her eyes and said.

"Straw Boy, you are very compassionate, but without my help, you won't reach Level Six. It is one of the most dangerous places for anyone to infiltrate."

Hearing that, Luffy nodded his head.

"Thank you, Ivan Chan! All right! You just hang in there, Ace. I'm coming for you!!!"

......

"Mr. 2, Mr. 3.. Buggy the Clown! You are absolutely certain that it was these three men who entered Level Five?"

Hannyabal held several papers in his hand and asked.

"Indeed! The disguise was perfect. However, the only thing that has been discovered in Level Five is this bloodstained headdress."

"It seems like they had a massive fight with the wolves. Most of them were found dead or unconscious."

"Because of this incident, both the chief and you are likely in danger of losing your positions."

The soldier replied.

"What? Meee?" Hannyabal's eyes almost popped out as he asked.

Inside the Lift to Level Six;

"You are late! But, are you alright, sir?" Dimino asked.

"Strict as ever, Dimino! Don't worry, I wasn't seriously injured. He should be more injured than I."

Magellan replied.

"Sir, Straw Hat Luffy only has the bounty of three hundred million. How could he fight you?"

Hearing that, Magellan murmured.

"Yeah, I also want to know why."

At this moment, he couldn't help but remember his conversation with Marine Fleet Admiral Sengoku and Vice Admiral Navy Hero Monkey D Garp.

"What? You lost to Straw Hat Kid?" Sengoku's voice was much louder than he anticipated. It almost broke his ears.

"Magellan, you are kidding, right? Kizaru took care of them with rather ease. If it wasn't for the interference of Kuma, they wouldn't even be able."

"So, you are telling me that Straw Hat kid went from not even being able to use Haki to seriously injuring you and knocking you out cold?"

Sengoku continued shouting.

"Yeah, Magellan! I am happy that you didn't capture my grandson, but you don't have to make an excuse like that. For what you did, I will do my best to protect your position in Impel Down."

Garp nodded his head from the side and spoke.

"I'm serious, Sengoku-san, Garp-san. I didn't hold back. This might have been the only fight where I used poison of more than a hundred varieties. Even so, he managed to knock me down with his last attack."

"That attack felt hard. It made me unable to concentrate until my mind was suppressed to the extreme. I couldn't keep up my spirit and lost consciousness. It was unlike any other attack I faced before."

"And, it wasn't easy either. It felt like I was attacked by you, Garp-san."

Magellan spoke with a serious tone.

At this moment, there was a deep silence in the room.

Both Garp and Sengoku looked at each other with confusion.

"Even if he did awaken Haki in a life and death situation, it shouldn't be that good, right? Advanced Observation, Perfect Control over his Armament Haki and Advanced Conqueror?"

"Isn't it the standard power of a Yonko? How could he possess something like that?"

Sengoku asked.

Garp rubbed his white hair and confusion.

"I don't know. When I met him in Enies Lobby, he was a hundred times weaker than an Admiral. And, from what Magellan is telling us, it puts him at the same level, if not stronger than, an Admiral."

"This doesn't even make sense."

Magellan continued.

"Sir, I am not sure if he awakened it after the life and death situation, but his control over Haki was not weaker than an Admiral. I can assure you that. He did lack the physical strength to constantly use his Haki."

"So, whenever he used it, he was extra careful of not overusing his Haki."

Garp grabbed the microphone and said.

"What you said doesn't make any sense, Magellan. I know my grandson. Kizaru fought my grandson. We know how strong he is. Even if he went through life and death to awaken Haki, he shouldn't be this strong."

"What you said doesn't make any sense. It's almost like you saying Luffy from the future came back to the past just to save Ace."

At this moment, Sengoku suddenly felt a flash in his head.

"Wait! Garp, that's it. If Magellan isn't lying. If that person is Monkey D Luffy, your theory makes sense."

Hearing that, Garp turned around with a confused look and asked.

"What do you mean?"

"Straw Hat came from the future. You know, there are still many unknown Devil Fruits in the world, right? And, the scientific knowledge of Vegapunk has made massive progress.

"What if your grandson used some kind of Devil Fruit or Vegapunk's machine to travel back in time with his soul. Maybe he came back because he couldn't save his brother in the first place."

"He is your grandson, Garp. If he doesn't die, do you think he will remain a weakling? No! That's not even possible. So, his control over Haki and his lack of physical strength to possess such Haki makes total sense."

"He is an experienced grandson of yours from the future who is using his body from the past to save his brother. If your grandson can enter Impel Down to save his brother, what can't he do?"

Hearing that, Garp clenched his fist, and this idea made him realize that Ace did die in the future.

Although he had believed that he could accept it, he found himself losing control.

Sengoku noticed it and took the microphone.

"Magellan, you heard what I said. That Straw Hat should be from the future. You might not be able to hold him there. So, do your best to transport Ace and let him chase Ace to the Marineford."

He took a deep look at Garp and said.

"I will stop him no matter what."

Garp also realized what Sengoku was trying to say. He knew if his grandson did possess such power, Sengoku would've no choice but to fight him.

"Sengoku-san, Impel Down is under my jurisdiction. I can't just let someone who infiltrated this base escape like that."

Magellan shouted.

At this moment, Sengoku took hold of the microphone and said.

"You don't understand, Magellan. The power of a Yonko is too much even for an Admiral. He might have a weak body, but as Garp's grandson, he will not be weak in the future."

"So, his overall knowledge of Haki might even surpass the current Admirals."

He didn't include himself and Garp on that.

Because he knew that, except for his slightly weaker Conqueror Haki and Armament Haki, he was definitely equal to Garp in power.

He had fought many people of Roger's Level. Garp could fight Roger, so why couldn't he fight Whitebeard and Shiki?

Those battles allowed him to understand the true power of Haki and why Garp, despite not having a Devil Fruit, could keep up with him.

'Garp's grandson might not have physical strength, but if he is truly from the future, his powers might even surpass mine and Garp.'

"Understood, Sengoku-san!"
