Luffy’s Journey in Impel Down Part 9
"I have already used my special attack, but I am going to use it again."
[Special Muggy Ball]
Buggy released the explosive ball through his shoe, and it went straight towards the Minozebra.
At the same time, Bon Clay also rushed towards Minozebra and jumped into the air. He spun several times before landing a kick on its head.
[Winter Wonderland Jete]
"It's my turn now."
Galdino turned his claw into a large hammer with several sharp spikes. Before the heat melted his wax, he smashed the hammer on top of the Minozebra.
[Hammer Down]
Bang!
This strike broke its head and slammed it to the ground.
As it fell, Galdino, Bon Clay, and Buggy hugged each other for defeating a powerful enemy and started jumping around.
"Haaa! I still feel tired."
Luffy sat on the ground and huffed a few times.
Although he had recovered from stamina issues, constantly using Haki on top of his powerful moves consumed a lot of stamina.
"Straw Hat Chan, we need to move on. The way to Level 4 is easy. It's insanely easy."
Bon Clay spoke.
"What? Really?" Luffy was excited.
"But it is also the place where the warden stays. If we meet him, it will be our doom."
Bon Clay's joking attitude was replaced by a strong fear as he spoke.
"Don't worry, I will protect you guys."
"Even so, you are exhausted after using your powers. Your body is awfully weak for someone who has so much control over his Haki."
Buggy looked confused as he spoke.
At this moment, Luffy got flustered.
Maybe he remembered how Liam used to lie about his identity and knowledge for a long time, and he also got used to hiding his identity.
They remembered him as this world's Luffy, and he wanted to keep it that way. After all, his objective was just to save Ace.
He released a deep breath and said.
"Don't worry, I am fine. It does cost me a lot of stamina, but I am taking these breaks to keep up my stamina for the warden."
While he said that, his hands trembled a little.
Only Bon Clay noticed it and didn't say anything.
Buggy casually nodded his head while Galdino shrugged his shoulders.
After all, these two only wanted to get out.
"So, how do we go there?" Luffy asked.
"Just climb that wall over there!"
Bon Clay pointed at the wall and said.
Luffy jumped and started climbing up the wall. Although it felt a bit hot, he was able to hold on with rather ease.
"Huh? You don't feel burned?"
Bon Clay's eyes widened when he saw Luffy climbing so easily.
"It's hot, but I can adjust to it."
Luffy nodded.
Bon Clay turned toward Galdino, who went and touched the wall.
"Hot! Hot! Hot!"
Galdino immediately screamed.
"See? This is the right attitude."
Bon clay said.
Although Buggy and Galdino were reluctant, they still followed. After all, Luffy was their biggest ticket out.
Upon reaching the top, Bon Clay said.
"Look below!"
"What is this? The heat and smoke are crazy. It has started to affect me."
Luffy was surprised when he saw the smoke.
"Right? But down there is where you want to go! Level 4 Inferno Hell!"
Bon Clay revealed.
"The heat rising from the floor below is too hot."
Luffy commented.
"Just like you said, Level 4 is a Giant Cooking Pot! Below this all, you'll find a boiling pond of blood and a sea of fire. You can try to jump down if you want."
"But if you land in the wrong place, you will suffer a lot more than just burns. You will be taking your life in your hands."
Hearing that, Luffy was genuinely surprised.
He could understand Galdino and Buggy. They wanted to leave, but they were stuck with him because of his strength.
But Bon Clay actively wanted to go there, which was quite confusing.
He looked at Bon Clay and asked.
"You said there's somebody you wanted to see down there. Who is it? Are you willing to risk your life for him?"
At this moment, even Buggy and Galdino gave him a curious look.
They didn't want to go down there. They wanted to stay in Level 3, but now, they were pretty much targeted by the Impel Down Forces.
In such a condition, it was better to stay with Luffy, who was willing to protect them.
He even tried his best to prevent them from getting attacked, even though he was late in a few situations.
So, they didn't have that many choices. But unlike them, Bon Clay truly wanted to go down, which was confusing as hell.
"People call him the Miracle Worker. The Pink Paradise of Grandline. The Queens of the World look up to him as the World's Greatest Drag Queen. He was arrested on trumped-up charges."
"He was called 'Iva'. He's the Queen of Kamabakka Queendom."
"Oh! It's Ivankov. He is in 5.5 floor."
Luffy instantly remembered this person through the description.
Normally, he wouldn't remember someone he didn't know so easily. But this person was quite special.
Especially since he was related to Kuma and the Revolutionary run by his father.
At this moment, there was an announcement through the transponder snail.
"This is Level 4. Starting with Warden Magellan, all forces have now gathered on Level 4."
......…..
Rear Passage Impel Down;
"How much longer until they excuse him?" Vice Admiral Momonga asked.
Standing in front of him was a soldier.
"Twenty-nine hours! It's set for three tomorrow afternoon.'
"If everything goes as planned, that will be the end of it. Portgas D Ace will be escorted out tomorrow morning."
At this moment, Boa Hancock looked at the Impel Down walls and thought.
'Luffy… Your safety is my only concern.'
Just when Vice Admiral and Hancock were entering the sea, one of the soldiers shouted.
"Vice Admiral Momonga!"
"What is it?"
Momonga asked.
"Red-Haired Shanks has been involved in some minor clashes in the New World."
Hearing that, Momonga's eyes twitched.
"Shanks? Are you sure? Why now? Against whom?"
"Kaido, one of the Four Emperors!"
The marine soldier replied.
"Kaido is trying to take advantage of the current situation to kill Whitebeard, and Shanks interfered! At least, that's what they think at Headquarters. Everyone is on high alert right now!"
Hearing that, even Momonga felt like sweating.
"Ugh! How quickly these crises can develop? These are turbulent waters indeed! But who can stop a confrontation among the Emperors?"
"There is no way this confrontation with Whitebeard can be avoided. Even the world can feel it. Hurry on to Marine-ford!"
"Yes, Sir!"
......…
"Alright! So, this is the Fourth Floor. It's really hot here."
Luffy wiped away the sweat from his forehead and said.
At this moment, he pointed towards the ground and said. He was holding two legs in his hands while Buggy's upper body was floating above him.
Bon Clay and Galdino were sitting on Buggy's back.
"Hey guys, look at that!"
Under them, several people were being thrown into a giant pot. It was almost the same as what Von Clay said before.
While Luffy was busy pointing here, someone else was waiting for him on this floor.
"Something's up! What are Magellan and Hannyabal doing here? What's going on?"
The prisoners were stunned by the presence of Magellan, Hannyabal, and other guards.
Passage Connecting Level 3 and 4
"If they're coming down, they'll have to come through that door. Any word yet? Did those Jailer Best get them?"
"It's so hot here!"
"Be sure to button up your fireproof coat!"
"Warden, when I take your place, I want a more open chair!" Hannyabal spoke while standing next to Magellan.
Magellan was sitting on a large chair. Without even looking at Hannyabal, he said.
"Shut up. I like enclosed spaces. I want to shut you out too."
"Reporting, Sir! We've just got the information about Jailer Beasts! They have been defeated, but we have no idea where Straw Hat Luffy and his accomplishes are."
But before Magellan could say something, another person rushed in and said.
"Warden Magellan! I have news to report! The intruder, Straw Hat Luffy, is on this level!"
"What? How can that be?" Magellan looked shocked.
"They must have jumped down, but we didn't find them fall into the Pond of Blood. So, they must have a way to avoid it."
The guard reported.
"What? They are defeated so quickly?"
Even Hannyabal was surprised.
Hearing that, Magellan calmed down and said.
"Calm down! Only two stairways can be used without security clearance. We are going to split into two groups. Hannyabal, you take the guards to the one that leads down to Level 5."
"Contact Sadie and ask her to come here and block the stairway to Level 3."
"Alright!"
Hannyabal didn't argue. He took most of the soldiers and went straight to the stairway that takes them to Level 5.
On the other hand, Luffy and his team were running near the Pond of Blood.
