Luffy’s Journey in Impel Down Part 4

Before the bird could react, Luffy instantly disappeared in front of it and appeared above it.

He clenched his fist, and an Armament Hardening appeared on his fist.

[Gomu Gomu No- Pistol]

Luffy punched forward with all of his strength and smashed the creature into the walls of the prison.

His punch was so heavy that it broke the creature's skull and left it unconscious on the spot.

"Woah!"

Buggy was stunned by his strength, but he quickly shook his head and said.

"Straw Hat, if you are so strong, why did you wait so long to attack?"

Luffy landed on the ground and rolled his eyes.

Suddenly, he felt a grumbling in his stomach and said.

"I'm hungry. Let's cook it!"

"What? Are you so outrageous? We can't draw more attention to ourselves." Buggy shouted in his ear, trying to get his words enter his mouth.

"But if I don't eat anything, I won't be able to exert my strength."

Luffy felt wronged.

It wasn't his fault that his strength was high, but his endurance was low. He had always believed in his endurance, but even it would falter sometimes.

And, there was another reason he wanted to eat a lot of food.

When Liam and Chopper made that potion, they continued to improve it, and through their discoveries, they managed to find a certain way to improve someone's strength.

It could be done by eating and using Life Return in a specific manner.

Liam had to spend like two hours each day for a week to get this pattern into Luffy's head.

He did it because Luffy often eats a lot of food.

And, if he could use that food to improve his strength all the time, it would be good for the crew.

So, not only Liam, even Robin stood forward to help Luffy learn the specific method of utilizing the Life Return to use the nutrient and Haki flow to temper his body.

This process was so amazing that when Law learned it within a few hours, he was able to use this method to reach a certain limit where he could awaken Haki.

Because this didn't require the Haki of the user. It could use the Haki of someone else.

Of course, that was for someone who couldn't use Haki. And, this person also didn't need to learn that specific method.

Unfortunately, Luffy could use Haki and was forced to learn this method.

While Law was happy to learn this method, but couldn't use Haki to practice.

So, this method was Luffy's ticket to success. So this way, not only could he improve his success in reducing Ace but also make sure that this Luffy had the power to protect his friends in the future.

Even though it was something Luffy encountered for the first time, he didn't treat it as a dream but as an adventure.

It would've been even more amazing if he were with his crew and not inside a prison. That would've been even more of an amazing adventure for him.

While Luffy was busy arguing with Buggy for the food, Boa Hancock and others had reached the fourth floor.

"You are right. It's really hot here."

Boa Hancock felt heat creeping up on her skin. Her body began sweating as she spoke.

"You might say there is fire behind the wall." Domino spoke.

"Warden Magellan has diarrhea for ten hours a day. And, he also spends eight hours sleeping. Given meal time and breaks, he only works about four hours a day."

Hannyabal spoke with some resentment.

Even Hancock felt embarrassed for these people.

"And, he is a boss here?"

She asked.

Domino replied.

"He can be very productive when necessary. Thank you for waiting. Here he comes. I forgot to mention. He has eaten Venom-Venom Fruit, so he is poisonous. Please be careful."

At this moment, a large man walked out of the bathroom. He was holding his stomach. He had a face that resembled a mandrill, with very sharp teeth and a thick beard.

He wore bat wings and a horn-like ornament on his head. He wore a black-colored suit with a red shirt underneath.

He looked at Boa Hancock and introduced himself.

"We have visitors. My name is Magellan. I am the director of this facility. It was another fierce battle."

"Good work, Chief!"

A soldier saluted him.

"Ahh! It's too bright. I want to shut away somewhere dark. I also want to shut my heart."

Magellan covered his eyes and screamed.

"Don't talk nonsense, Chief! Vice Admiral Momonga and Boa Hancock, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, are waiting for you. We are in a hurry, Chief Magellan."

Hearing that, Magellan apologized.

"I'm sorry. I got good poisoning from my poison soup this morning."

"I think you got poisoned because you ate poison." Hannyabal replied.

"You know what they say. Fight Poison with poison." Magellan replied.

"That's not… That's why you got diarrhea." Hannyabal replied with an annoyed expression.

"You've got a venomous tongue, Hannyabal." Magellan stared at his vice chief and replied.

"I hope you hurry up and resign. Oops! That was a slip of the tongue. I meant they wish to see 'Fire Fist' Ace."

Hannyabal spoke.

"That was a very hurtful slip of the tongue." Magellan replied.

He sighed.

"My underlings are so unkind."

But when he sighed, he released a powerful, poisonous breath that went toward the crowd and started affecting them.

"Don't sigh! Your breath has poison."

Hannyabal roared, but Magellan stared, laughing.

"Why are you laughing?"

Hannyabal angrily shouted.

"Serves you right, my unfaithful underling." Magellan snickered.

"Now you are spitting poison." Hannyabal roared.

At this moment, Boa covered her face with a mask and stepped on Magellan. She pointed her finger down while lifting her face as she shouted.

"How dare you poison me with your toxin?"

"Woah! What a beauty. I'm in love."

Magellan was instantly attracted by Boa's beauty.

While this was happening, Hannyabal went to Magellan's seat and sat, and Domino rushed forward to remind him.

"Vice Warden, that's the chief's seat."

"It will be mine someday," Hannyabal replied.

"We are in a hurry."

Momonga roared.

At this moment, the transponder snail began to ring.

Hannyabal quickly picked it up and said.

"Hello! What's wrong?"

"Why are you answering my phone?"

Magellan released a poisonous breath as he asked.

"Argh! You are killing me. I wanted to be a Warden."

Hannyabal felt a strong poison.

"What? An intruder was discovered?"

Magellan listened to the phone and shouted in shock.

"Incredible! No one has broken into this prison in history."

Domino spoke with a shocked expression.

"Transmit the image!"

Magellan spoke.

"It's a calamity. It's all the chief's fault." Hannyabal immediately tried putting dirt on Magellan's record.

'Could it be? They have already found him.' Hancock's expression changed as she bit her finger.

Then, an idea came to her mind as she used that pose and cutely said.

"Warden, I would like to see the prison as soon as possible."

"Whatever you desire!"

Magellan's eyes turned into a pink heart shape as he spoke.

"Warden, we have an emergency on our hands. That's odd! We've lost contact with Warden Magellan."

"Never Mind! Notify each floor and the Navy Headquarters. The intruder who reached Level 2 with Buggy the Clown is none other than Straw Hat Luffy the Pirate."

At this moment, Luffy's bounty picture was on the table.

"We lost our contact with Level 2 Guard."

"Hello, Level 2 Guard! Come in!"

At this moment, every single transponder snail was destroyed by Buggy while Luffy and Galdino were grilling the bird.

After destroying those transponder snails, Buggy started opening the prison door for the other prisoners.

"Hey, Buggy, aren't you going to come in and eat this?"

"I am doing something important. Listen up, you pirates! I am the one who freed you. You better thank me."

Buggy shouted back at Luffy and continued freeing those pirates.

"Who's the name that saved you?"

"We will never for this, Captain Buggy."

"You saved us, Captain Buggy."

"Hahaha! That's right! Remember that name and unlock all cells!"

On the other hand, Galdino turned toward Luffy and asked.

"Aren't you going to do something about it?"

"Nah! Let him have some fun."

Luffy shook his head. Although he didn't like getting these pirates out and he would never bring them out, he didn't mind if they became Buggy's underlings.

More importantly, he needed some distractions. These were perfect while he, alongside Buggy and Galdino, sneaked into the sixth floor.

"It's the first time someone asked me to use my candles to store food. Are you sure this is right?"

Galdino asked while pointing at several boxes of candles filled with food.

"The third and fourth floors are quite hot. My candles will melt very quickly."

"It doesn't matter. We will cook these as we go down. By the time we reach the fourth floor, all that will be finished."
