Liam’s Proposal to Invite Franky

"What?"

Iceberg jumped up from his chair and shouted in shock. He stared at Liam and asked.

"Are you serious? I have heard about its legend but I didn't think it was true."

"Of course, we went to Sky Island. It was amazing. And, we also fought a guy called god. That bastard was too annoying." Luffy's eyes sparkled with excitement as he began to tell the story.

Seeing those pure and excited eyes, Iceberg could tell that this person wouldn't lie. So, he calmed his heart and sat down.

"I didn't expect you to find the Golden City mentioned in Noland's story. I always thought, no everyone thought it was just a lie."

Hearing his tone, Liam nodded.

"Indeed! People can not comprehend what they can't see. This is why things like Transponder Snails, TVs, and even Devil Fruits are myths in Four Blues while they are quite common in Grandline."

Iceberg very much agreed with this. He also heard many people trying to denounce his master because they couldn't comprehend the concept of Sea Train.

It was only after he proved them wrong, they finally believed in Sea Train.

Iceberg looked at Liam with a serious tone and asked.

"What are the chances of your win? And, what if Marines interfere in our project? You have to understand we are builders, not soldiers."

Liam smile got bigger. Although it was only for a moment, he could feel that Iceberg had agreed to his idea.

"Don't worry about Marines! First, we will definitely win. And, even in the case we don't, we will be able to deal some serious damage to the Marines. But unless they play dirty tricks, especially WG, we will win."

"Once we win, our fame will definitely reach the heights of Four Emperors which means even Marines have to fear us. After this, Marines won't be able to send anyone to find us because they will have their hands on another emperor."

"The battle between marine and emperor especially in a battle where we will also participate will cause some serious damage to Marines. Of course, this will make Marine quite weak which will be bad for the world but not for us."

"Because when marines get weak, Straw Hat Fleet will decimate all newcomers in the Grandline, exchange them for the bounties, and raise our fund."

"So, within a year, we will have a constant flow of cash for the development of this project. Once developed, Straw Hat Express will start earning money for us."

Hearing his plan, Iceberg was shocked. Although it was normal for a businessman to plan things properly, it was hard to imagine that a pirate could plan so well.

Although there were many things that he didn't understand, he wasn't an idiot. Following Liam's words, he could easily guess things that would happen in the future.

As for Liam's intelligence, he didn't doubt it since he was even able to find out the agents hidden around him before coming to Water Seven.

"Straw Hat Express! Liam, is that going to be the name of Sea Train?" Luffy's eyes sparkled like light beams as he asked.

He had seen a train while they were arriving at Water Seven so he knew what Sea Train meant. Just naming Sea Train Straw Hat Express made him excited.

Because in his eyes, if that kind has his name, it belongs to him.

Sometimes even if it doesn't have his name, it belongs to him. This is especially true for meat.

"Mr. Liam, I have to say your plan is quite good. Although it is not detailed, I believe it is because of your understanding of Sea Train, right?" Iceberg asked.

Liam nodded his head.

"I am not sure how Sea Trains are built and how long one Sea Train normally takes to be built. So, my plan is a bit rudimentary."

Hearing his words, Iceberg smiled and said.

"It's no big deal. Although it does take a long time to build one Sea Train, if we put all of our effort into building one, then we can definitely build it in a short amount of time."

"At best, it would take one year to build one sea train. But the tracks are different. If we want to build the tracks, it might take one year to connect more than one five islands."

Hearing his words, Liam thought for a moment and asked.

"What if we increase the number of workers?"

Iceberg thought for a moment and asked.

"Are you talking about recruiting workers from other islands? But, if we are under a pirate crew, would they join us?"

"Why not? There are plenty of nongovernmental kingdoms. As long as you can provide them enough money to survive and let their families live in Water Seven, they will join, right?"

"More importantly, even though you will be under our flag, you still have your own status and as long as we reveal the reason why you joined us, most people won't have any problem."

Liam answered.

"So, what about after we finish building the Sea Train and tracks?" Iceberg asked.

"Of course, they will continue to work. Don't you think those tracks and trains will constantly get damaged due to the severe environment in Grandline?"

"Who will repair those if they leave? When you try to recruit people, tell them that this is a permanent job. And, as long as we can create a constant flow of traffic in the sea, we will have more than enough money to support those workers."

"After all, there is no second kind of transportation like sea train in this world. More importantly, Passenger transportation isn't the only way to earn money."

"We can charge high interest for the goods transportation. And, as long as we can provide proper and good security, many merchants and businessmen will be interested in using our Express."

Hearing his words, Iceberg's eyes glowed brightly as he nodded his head.

"That's a great idea. But, you have to understand. Although I also agree with your idea, our protection will be in your hands. So, if you lose the next battle, there will be no cooperation."

"But, there is something more that I want to ask. Will your fleet be strong enough to face powerful pirates and marines?"

Hearing his words, Liam answered.

"Actually, the one who would protect our Express in the Grandline will be the most notable Supernova of this year. With our strength, it won't take a long time to conquer them."

"As for high-end powers, we will have the means of transportation and teleportation in the future. We will definitely be there to support you and Straw Hat Express in any kind of situation."

"Besides that, within the next three years, I believe this world will change completely. Who will be at the top? Well, you just have to wait and find out."

When he said that, Iceberg's eyes dilated as he looked at Liam in horror. It wasn't hard to understand the meaning behind his words.

But, it is exactly because of that, he was horrified.

"Right now, there is no need to talk about that. Instead, I need your help with something." Liam asked.

Iceberg calmed down after hearing that. He also understood that it wasn't time to talk about something like that because it is almost impossible now.

"I will be happy to help."

"I need you to convince your brother to join our crew. Our ship is a bit interesting. I will take you to see her later."

"Only Franky has more than enough means and creativity to change our ship into a dream ship. More importantly, we need to constantly upgrade our ship's arsenal so a shipwright is extremely important for us."

Liam requested.

"Yes, yes, that Franky guy, Iceberg Uncle, can you take us to meet him? I will invite him to join our crew." As soon as he heard the name of the shipwright, Luffy got excited.

Of course, his excitement was for a position that came after Shipwright. He always wanted a musician but according to Liam, a Musician comes after a Shipwright so he was getting tired of waiting.

Now that opportunity was in front of him, he directly wanted to jump.

Iceberg's expression froze and a complicated look appeared on his face.

"He might not agree. He detests pirates the most."

"I know but there is one way that you can convince him." Liam mysteriously smiled and spoke.

"What way?"

Iceberg frowned and asked. He was Franky's elder brother and senior so he should be the one to know more about Franky. Liam's words made him a little bit dissatisfied.

Liam had already expected this kind of expression so he calmly explained.

"Our battleground will be Enies Lobby. On that island, there is a person that you and he hate the most. You are a Mayor so obviously you can't come with us."

"But, he is not. As long as he chooses to join us, not only we will help him to take revenge on Spandam but also free himself from the burden of Pluton."

Liam raised his head and his eyes got serious as he continued.

"That is to burn the drawing of Pluton in front of thousands of marines. So, what do you think?"
