Chapter 196- Honeymoon
After finishing their meal, Kasumi and Koori left the restaurant and headed toward the car.
Koori clung to her arm the entire time, a smile of pure contentment never leaving her lips.
Spending time with her favorite person was so much fun that she hadn’t even noticed when the sky had gone dark.
It was six o’clock when they got into the car. Kasumi glanced at her and said, “Alright, let’s head to our destination now.”
Koori had already decided what she would tell her mother if she called, so she felt carefree.
But there was still one problem.
Naoko.
He won’t tell anyone… right?
It wasn’t that she hated the thought of people knowing she was dating Kasumi. The issue was her family.
They were conservative, the type to frown upon a relationship like this.
Even so, Koori had made up her mind. Even if her parents found out, she wouldn’t back down.
She treasured her relationship with Kasumi, and she would protect it with everything she had.
“Something on your mind?” Kasumi asked, her brows elevated but eyes on the road.
Koori shook her head, “Nothing. I am just so happy that I can't stop smiling.”
Kasumi chuckled, “Well, the evening has just begun. Wait for the main event.”
Koori couldn't wait.
…
The car pulled up outside a resort on the outskirts of the city.
It was a well-known spot, popular among tourists visiting Tokyo.
Kasumi and Koori stepped out, and Kasumi handed the keys to the valet before leading the way inside.
“Woah…” Koori breathed, her eyes widening at the sight of the resort’s interior.
Warm lights glowed softly across the lobby, the faint scent of tatami and hinoki wood in the air. A koi pond shimmered near the entrance, its gentle ripples adding to the calm atmosphere.
Koori looked around in awe while Kasumi simply smiled and headed towards the front desk.
“Ah, hey. I made a reservation here.” Kasumi handed her ID to the receptionist.
The woman glanced at the card, then at Kasumi—more than once. A faint blush touched her cheeks as she checked the details.
Koori caught those lingering looks and quickly wrapped her arms around Kasumi’s, holding her close.
The receptionist gave a polite nod. “Welcome, guests. She will lead you to your room.”
Another woman in uniform stepped forward, bowing slightly. “Welcome. Please follow me.”
Kasumi urged softly, “Let’s go.”
The two followed the staff down a long gallery until she stopped in front of a door. “This is your room. Please enjoy your stay.” She bowed politely before leaving.
Koori tilted her head, still unsure why Kasumi had brought her here, but she opened the door and stepped inside.
As expected, the room was spacious and luxurious.
The room was a mix of Western comfort and Japanese charm. A small closet stood to the left of the entrance, and the soft scent of tatami drifted through the air.
Farther in, the bedroom opened up with a large Western-style bed neatly made with crisp white sheets, while shoji screens along the wall revealed a private garden lit by paper lanterns. A low wooden table with floor cushions sat near the window, balancing the modern and traditional touches perfectly.
“Why don’t you open that door?” Kasumi said, pointing toward the shoji screen across the room.
Koori hurried over, sliding it open with eager hands—only to gasp in surprise. Beyond it lay a private hot spring, steam rising gently under the lantern light.
“Waah… there’s this as well?” she exclaimed.
Before she could step forward, a pair of long arms wrapped around her waist. Kasumi leaned in, breathing in her fragrance, and Koori let out a soft moan.
Kasumi’s voice was warm against her ear. “Think of this as our little honeymoon. I wanted time with you—just the two of us. And I thought this would be the best place.”
Koori melted back into her embrace, whispering, “I missed you so much too… missed how you made me feel the last time.”
Slowly, she turned toward Kasumi, her eyes a mix of nervousness and longing.
Kasumi cupped her cheek, then gently drew her into a kiss.
Koori’s lips trembled as Kasumi deepened the kiss, her hands sliding from Koori’s waist up to her back, pulling her impossibly close. The heat from the spring mingled with the warmth of their bodies, making her skin tingle.
Koori’s fingers tangled in Kasumi’s hair, holding her as if afraid to let go. Their breaths came fast, mingling in the steamy air, hearts hammering in unison.
Kasumi’s lips trailed down Koori’s neck, leaving a path of fire wherever she kissed. A soft moan escaped Koori, her body arching instinctively against Kasumi’s.
“I’ve wanted this… wanted you,” Kasumi murmured, her voice low.
Koori’s hand traveled towards her crotch, and upon feeling her stiffness, she smiled.
Suddenly, Kasumi found her girlfriend kneeling before her and tying her hair in a bun.
‘Now this is a sight worth remembering all my life.’
