Chapter 280 – So Much Interest

*** Sarania ***

Fucking bitch, keeping me outside. I am clearly Alzi's servant. Why would the stupid Goddess not take me there, too? Asshole.

"Now," the Priestess says, her fingers twitching. "We're alone for a while."

"Careful, girl," I say, my eyes just flashing over at the idiot to make sure she knows her place. I need to focus on making sure my Mistress is ok instead of dealing with the Priestess who tricked my Mistress into thinking that she left. "I am not a happy woman right now, and I wouldn't mind making a mess of an annoying Priestess. You should know I'm stronger than you and lack the same issues others have in these temples."

"Are you sure about that? I've heard stories about an old succubus."

"Press me," I say. "Do it. I would love to strip you and throw you down on this table and have my way with you."

"Cookie," the High Priestess says. "I told you to behave. I do not wish to lose our temple so soon after this Queendom has lost a war. Put your mana away and oversee the ritual."

"Fine," the Priestess says. "I could take her."

"I doubt you could handle a single toy she has," the High Priestess mutters, giving me a glass of water. "Don't make me come back here."

Looks like I won't have any entertainment today. I take a sip and wait for the kids to wake up. I doubt Alzi will be free anytime soon.

*** Goddess of Dragons ***

A little warning would've been nice, Alzi! You've got quite a few women that would love to help you up here.

"Wait!" Someone calls out, right on the edge of that idiot's territory.

"What do you want?" I ask. Damn Phoenix.

"I have a proposition for you," she says. "One that will have us both getting what we want."

"What do I want?" I ask.

"What you've been after for years. A line that has a mix of my blood in it. I have a True Phoenix who wishes to mate with Alzi. She may be willing to let Alzi have a child of her own as well. But I need something to help you get what you want."

"Why would I care about your blood? I don't need it."

"Liar. You've been looking for blood from just the royal family. Try to act stoic all you wish right now, but I'm not an idiot. Walk away, and I'll hide Shimmer forever. Alzi will never see the kid. I'll have your blood, and you'll get nothing."

Oh, how I would love to rip her pathetic wings from her back. Flames? How could that ever lift someone? Pure uselessness, only making her look stupid while mana lifts her off the ground.

"Hate it all you wish," she says. "But you want it. I may even let Alzi get me pregnant with twins, and we can share the kids. Or I could keep them. I have no problem with having two little ones all to myself."

"Alzi would never. I'll get Fertility..."

"No, you won't do a thing about it. I'll tell her who killed her kids. Who took them from her. The blame will be on you, and Fertility will never hurt her Champion, not after having a kid with her that they care about. No, just show support for Alzi staying with Elora. That is all. You don't have to say another word, and you'll get a bit of my true bloodline."

"If Alzi doesn't have a kid with the True Phoenix?"

She wasn't expecting that question. She was hoping to sneak that little detail past me. Alzi isn't happy with the Phoenixes right now, while I have her with an engagement to a High Priestess of mine. Hundreds of little ones are on the way.

The Phoenixes have just a single kid to split between two groups.

"Then you get Shimmer's kid."

Hard to say no. "Fine," I say. "I'll give the marriage some support. But I will make it clear that I care for Alzi and will care deeply for her if she divorces."

"She is your kind," the stupid Phoenix says. "You have to handle getting her willing to carry a child from the True Phoenix."

"I'll work on it," I say, giving her a stupid little smile. I'll just make Alzi turn her into a submissive little bitch for me, and I'll get all the kids they have. "Now, I have things to do."

*** Alzi ***

Why are there so many Goddesses here? I just wanted to be free.

"Sorry, dear," Fertility says. "You seem to have a lot of Goddesses interested in your future."

A strange pull comes. Faint, weak. Kind of like when Mommy is close by, or I'm near a kid in one of the many women I've gotten pregnant.

"Of course, she came," Fertility mutters.

My head whips around without a thought. A dragonkin? No, her skin shimmered. A dragon with a perfect face, holding her arms open for me with a soft smile, asking for a hug.

"Go, my Champion," Fertility says, her arm relaxing slowly. She's likely worried that I'll fall without her support. Which would be correct. I have to work to get my legs to support me as I stumble into the dragon's arms.

"Hey, little hatchling. You've stirred quite the pot like any little dragon should. Well done, Alzi, I'm proud of you."

"I'm scared."

"I know, I know," she says, her hands running over my wings and even wrapping her tail around my own. My head gets buried between her tits. "I've got Zarzi. She's doing alright but could use your support. She overestimated her abilities."

"Will she make it? The kids?"

"Zarzi will make it with all of your kids, Alzi. But it is already painful for her. All day, she feels pain in her womb, but she loves the kids already. She could really use her dominant visiting her to give her a bit of comfort. No need to rush, but try to find time. Her body yearns for you to take it."

"I'll- I- Ok," I say. "I'll take her."

"Thank you, my little hatchling. My Priestesses would love to meet you, and I have a few rituals that would help you. Just remember, there are women in the world that love you. Now, the Goddess of Love is giving us some evil eyes. Understand this: I'll support whatever decision you take, but there are good reasons to stay married to Elora. She is a path to more than you know. We just need to flip who is in charge," the Goddess of Dragons says. "But I understand why you need to leave. Do what you feel is best. You're always welcome in my temple."

She gives each of my horns a small kiss and sends me back to Fertility. She takes a spot in the back of the room behind Elora.

"Now," Love says. "Can we get back on topic?"

"Not yet," another voice says. "Alzi has more women up here who care about her."

Space! "Space," I say. She pops into existence, giving me a hug so I can feel her belly.

"Hello, love," Space says. "I hope you aren't trying to divorce me in this."

"No," I say. "No, I like you."

"I'm happy to hear that, my dear."

"What the fuck do you mean?" Love says, staring right at my strange wife.

"What?" Space says, moving to the side so I can see Love again. "You are Love, not Marriage. Why would you care that I am married to Alzi? Why are we here at all? Alzi wishes to divorce Elora, and you lack true power over marriage. What will happen once Marriage truly exists? Will you spiral like Justice is now that Contract exists? This is a waste of time."

"I oversee marriages, so yes, I have a say in you calling Alzi your wife."

"No, I told you already that you have no say in my marriage with Alzi. If you don't like it, then fine. But I think we could have a bit of fun. Strip and bend over and see if Alzi can fuck the power of marriage out of you. Or maybe Fertility will help you out. Then, we can ask her about the true power of marriage and what she thinks of this marriage. As it stands, you should be able to tell Alzi has more love for me than Elora right now. That is your affinity, after all."

"SHUT UP! I HAVE OVERSEEN EVERY MARRIAGE FOR OVER THREE THOUSAND YEARS, AND I WILL NOT HAVE YOU TELLING ME WHAT LOVE IS!" Love shouts. "Now, Alzi, do you think I will grant you a divorce? You have no reason to get it."

"I need to escape. I'm not safe with Elora," I say. "Yes, I need to be safe."

"Elora."

"I am putting protections in place for you, Alzi. Geta Yuki, I, and Nakuma will be watching over you. Soon, I will be Queen, and I can have my Mother and some of her harem guarding you. Fluvis wishes to join, and she can help protect you when she isn't on the sea. I..."

"This is irrelevant," Fertility says. "Alzi wishes to leave the marriage. Elora is coming up with plans that can not happen until later and, even then, may still not happen. She could've implemented those plans before. Instead, she let Alzi get captured yet again. If they didn't take Alzi to my temple, she would've been raped yet again. Elora still isn't clear on how this marriage should work and is continuing to make things up in reaction to the pain she causes my Champion. A break is needed in order to let her figure it out and come to a true understanding with Alzi, and then we can try again. This time, with Alzi answering Love's question herself."

"What about the others in the marriage?" Sex says. "Isda would've done a lot more to help Alzi in the marriage, but you stepped in and kept her from doing her job. Their failings are partly your fault. Why should we listen to you drone on about what is best for Alzi when you ignored her for the majority of her life? You haven't done a thing for her outside of removing a collar that was going to be removed tomorrow, anyway. You are just like how you claim Elora is."

"This would make the Royals stronger and therefore protect Alzi better," Royalty says. "Staying is the safest route forward."

"No, Alzi is gaining enough power to defend herself," Space says. "She is up to seven different marks from the Goddesses? Three of the marks are growing in power by the day. Power. She has a mark from Power of all Goddesses. Safety? Alzi will soon provide that all by herself. Then, do not forget the succubus that is by her side. We may dislike her, but she is powerful."

"You dare talk about that shit in my territory?" Love says, her hands slamming against her oversized desk. "Do you wish for me to fix your little love issue?"

"Try it," Space says. "Try it. Why is Fertility so strong in her land? Why does no one dare to mess with Space? You act respectfully when entering Writing's land. Yet plenty stick their fingers into love and relationships. Why is that? I wonder, Love. Try to lord over me. I welcome the laughable attempt to feel powerful."

"Well, since this is going nowhere. How about a strange compromise?" Dragon says. "Alzi becomes the head wife. With this, Elora and her wives get a promise that Alzi will work with them in the future to see if the marriage can truly stand, once Alzi is better. Alzi's true wives will be her Mother and lovers, and Elora and her harem can love from afar. If, in the future, either party feels there is no chance for love, then they divorce. And both promise to respect the other's decision. Say, two years? It is wrong for a royal dragon to be at the bottom of a marriage. Elora should be happy with this, as I'm sure Alzi will find they are at least worthy of being broodmares, if not full wives, by then."

"Yes, please, all of you, please continue trying to act all-powerful before the little mortals this is about."
