Chapter 258 – Aftermath

*** Alzi ***

"My Lady," Shyla says. "Are you ok? What happened? You are a mess."

Am I ok? I don't think I feel anything. I feel my tears and body, but nothing else comes to mind.

"My Lady, come here," Shyla says, pulling me into a hug. "Shhh, I've got you, my Lady. I'll get you cleaned up. Just let it out in my arms. I'll take care of your body."

I cry into my maid's shoulder for a while, letting her shoulder wipe away my tears. Her mana washes over me to clear off something. Sweat and semen, if I had to guess.

"Was it a Goddess?" Shyla asks. "Your tattoo has changed."

"Which one?" I ask, too afraid to look at myself. I was just on a string of good changes, and then this one has to ruin it.

"Your womb. Two hearts, partially colored with your ever-changing rainbow coloring."

"Yes, Sex," I say.

"Hmm, does that mean you are her champion as well?"

"She said I was."

"I see. Sorry that meeting your patron Goddess was upsetting, my Lady. All the stories have them being happy times. You still have Fertility to lean on. I'm not sure how this works, but I'm sure Fertility will help you through this."

"When do I get to see her? Why didn't you take me to her? Why does nothing work for me?"

"I do not know, my Lady. I do not have the answers to your first two questions. Things are improving for you. Once the collar is off, you can go to see Fertility yourself, and you'll marry your mother. This is just another obstacle we will help you through. I can join you when you meet the Goddesses. I don't know what help I'll be, but I'll be there for you. You never have to meet the Goddess of Sex again."

"No. She caused all this," I say. "She made me into the whore I am. She made me love sex and want to fuck every noble I see. Her hand is in that. She caused it all and will keep doing it." I feel my tears returning. Did Fertility try to give me a good class, and then that Goddess corrupted it? Did she enjoy watching me get raped?

"It won't help for this class, but the next one, you could talk to the Goddess of Power and see if she is able to help you. I'm sure there is a ritual you could do to help straighten out your classes. I can help you, and Princess Elora can search the Royal Library for a ritual. I know you don't like your wives, but this is something you need to rely on them for."

Shyla gently rocks us back and forth, clearly at a loss for what else to do. She knows the promise of my wives' help means little to me.

I don't have anything to offer her. Everything I've done just leads to more pain. All my desires constantly hung out in front of me as they used my body to help them.

"My Lady," Shyla whispers. "Would you like to heal some women? That was your dream, and it has come true. You are one of the best healers this nation has ever had. That dream has happened. You can do that all without sex. Sex just makes you an even better healer. Why don't we go to the tent and start healing some of the commoners? I know this will end with you having sex with me or someone to replenish your mana in order to heal even more women. You are powerful and capable, my Lady. Why don't we use that power in the way you dreamed of when you got your affinity? Then, we can figure out how to handle the Goddess of Sex. You have so much support around you. The Goddess of Fertility. The Goddess of Space gave you two kids and two rings and teleported you and the army all the way out here. She cares about you. Then, the Goddess of Power cares for you in some way. Goddess of the Sea made a champion to help save you. If Zarzi succeeded, then you must have the Goddess of the Dragons willing to help you. The Kitsune sent healers out to help your mother. They rarely leave their realm, so they must care about you as well, and they have a patron Goddess as well."

"I guess."

"Your wives' love won't be filling others with jealousy, but they are loyal and strong. They will stick with you. I'm sure Princess Elora has given you some more promises. That will have the Queen supporting you. Then these kids," Shyla says, giving my belly a soft rub, "will be coming soon, and when they do, you'll marry your mother, and she will shower you in love with Mai. I don't know what the Goddess of Sex has done to you, but she hasn't taken everything from you. So, how about we go and use that power to heal some women? To live out your dream."

"Ok," I mutter. It would be best to forget about this till the collar takes care of it. Maybe the collar should just stay on. What am I going to be like when it falls off?

Shyla works quickly to get me dressed as I see even more levels come my way. I keep my breasts the same size, happy that most of the levels are just mana.

"Thank you, my Lady," Shyla says. "Ready?"

"Yes," I say, happy to cover up my new tattoo—or changed tattoo, I guess.

The walk feels longer this morning, the sun just rising over the horizon. Bitch woke me up early.

Inside, most are still sleeping. But others don't seem to have the luxury to sleep. Their injuries keep the torture going despite exiting the battlefield.

I walk over to the nearest woman, still awake, the all-too-common fungus spreading over her body. The fire mages are dwindling on the other side, but the strange ones are still alive, making it annoying to keep the nobles alive.

Her eyes have long run out of tears to cry. She doesn't even react when the large, heavily pregnant, and glowing dragonkin sits beside her. I've gotten better at pulling out the roots or whatever. They take longer than regrowing a limb, and you have to be careful when pulling it out.

The woman groans as I start pulling the roots from her body. Her hoarse voice makes it clear that she has been groaning and screaming in pain all night, possibly all day yesterday while I was healing the nobles and forced to ignore the commoners.

Shyla drips some water onto the woman's lips from some rock rune. She's been pulling out a lot more of those things lately with the extra mana she's been getting. I should ask the others if there are tools that could help them that need mana.

The woman's limbs slowly stop trembling as I clear her skin before she finally falls asleep, the pain now low enough for her exhaustion to take over. Her face is still strained, but she's sleeping at last. I work the rest off her and get up.

I move to the next woman who has been forced to stay awake because of the pain and start again, Shyla doing what she can to ease the woman's pain until my patient falls asleep.

"Lady Alzi," one of the non-mana healers says. "Are you sure you can be doing this?"

"Yes," I say. "I have ways to get more mana and heal the nobles quickly. I can do something for these women and still do my duty to the nobles later."

"Thank you," she says. "Can I help? I'm sure Grace would love to work out something with you if this is going to happen more often. It was wrong for us to leave you alone in healing our patients."

"Are there many tools that would help you?" I ask. "Shyla, you have mana to spare, right? And I am the leader of this tent. They are my patients as well."

"Yes, my Lady," Shyla says, still dripping some water into the injured woman's mouth.

"Well, we don't have much. We know they won't get filled normally. Let me see what I have, Lady Alzi."

"Take Shyla with you. No need to waste time dragging them around."

"Yes, my Lady," Shyla says. "Show me the way."

With that, I got a little peace in the morning. If you ignore the pain and suffering around you, which the nobles seem to be able to do, so why not me for a morning? I can't ignore all of their suffering, though I only need to heal the woman in front of me and then pick another to heal after her. But for now, I can limit it to just us—a passed-out woman and me healing them.

*** Goddess of Sex ***

Oh, Fertility wasn't happy with the gift our Champion gave me. She didn't even let me keep one of them. Silly girl, thinking she can hurt a goddess.

"Of course, I didn't let you keep the kids," Fertility shouts from the edge of my territory. "They weren't a gift but meant as a curse. How you could hurt our Champion like that, I will never understand."

"A curse?" I say, sinking into my soft chair. "Yes, how she thought she could make me an immobile Goddess like that weak little dragon. Sad really. Maybe you shouldn't have kept our Champion from me and threatened my angel."

"Like that would change anything?" Fertility asks.

"Why don't you step inside and look at me when you try to scold me," I say. My angels move to be ready to bring pleasure to the annoying Goddess. "I'm older than you. I wasn't raped into divinity. I had to fight for my spot, and the greedy shits down there think they don't need me? You threw the smallest hissy fit over them not treating you well enough. I WAS THROWN OUT OF THEIR WORLDS!"

"So you raped your Champion, and now you think I'm about to walk into your arms to get raped? Is that all you can do now? Rape others? Are you going to answer my question?"

"Shut up, bitch! You take the best Champion before you're allowed to, then get mad when I follow the rules. The world has more than you in it."

"Have fun when Alzi gets to control you. Your own Champion controlling their Goddess would be a sight to see."

"Like that would ever happen. The worst she would do is make me the sub in a never-ending BDSM session. Like I would care about that. It would be a great form of worship. My goals align fine with hers and yours."

"Let us find out if that is true."
