Chapter 286: There’s going to be quite a drama here.

While Kai was thoroughly enjoying the massage, Nemuri couldn't help but wince in pain, as even for a novice like her, it was obvious how tense Kai was. Proof of all the stress and pressure he had to bear alone all this time. But although this realization filled her with pain and regret, it also filled her with infinite resolve to help him bear that burden from now on.

She wasn't just going to spoil him and fill him with love; she would also be by his side in his darkest moments. Something she intended to do that very night, after all, she was sure that Kai had captured the ones who attacked Mrs. Yoshiko and most likely wanted to extract information from them.

Therefore, that same night, she had to be by his side and support him while also not letting him get lost in his dark side. She knew what kind of person Kai was, so she would also have to grit her teeth to restrain her inner hero. Because, although she hoped to lead him down the right path, she knew that confronting him, accusing him, or scolding him would be pointless and would only push him away.

The only viable way to prevent Kai from falling into darkness was to be by his side and guide him little by little, preventing someone like Keiko—who supported him unconditionally and took all his actions as correct—from ultimately leading him astray. Something that, although it was a difficult and complicated path, she was willing to walk for her beloved, not only because of the infinite love she had for him but because he had done much more for her.

…

After some time of a relaxing massage in which Kai felt a great deal of his fatigue vanish, feeling relaxed and light, Nemuri stopped her hands and got off his back. With a relaxed and almost sleepy smile, Kai sat up, then stretched lazily as he turned to look at his beautiful girlfriend to thank her. But just as he was about to open his mouth, Kai couldn't help but stop for a few seconds, surprised.

With great naturalness, Nemuri began to remove her hero suit slowly, soon exposing her enormous breasts, and then started pulling it down while looking at her beloved with a playful smile. Genuinely surprised, Kai couldn't help but let his gaze wander over his sensual girlfriend, then asked curiously.

“Do you really want to do it here?”

“It would be an interesting experience, but right now I'm just preparing for the second part of the massage.” Nemuri replied with a playful smile as she stood completely naked. Kai asked while his eyes involuntarily focused on his beloved's tempting breasts.

“What kind of massage…?”

“One I saw on a very interesting website~” Nemuri replied in a seductive voice while walking, swaying her hips, toward her beloved Kai, utterly pleased by the way her man was looking at her.

“I wonder what website that is…”

As Nemuri guided him to lie face down again, Kai couldn't help but comment somewhat amusedly. Nemuri let out a soft, melodious laugh, then replied as she let some massage lotion drip onto her enormous breasts and flat stomach.

“Oh, it's a very curious website; one of these days we have to look at it with all the girls. We can try several things from there~”

“Sounds like an interesting plan…” Kai replied with an interested smile, at which moment Nemuri lay down on his back, pressing her enormous breasts against him, and whispered in his ear, full of lust.

“It's good you like the idea, because the girls and I have some surprises prepared for our beloved husband…”

Kai couldn't help but swallow hard, which caused a lustful and excited smile to form on Nemuri's face. She quickly began massaging her beloved using her naked body.

………

“Feeling relaxed?”

A couple of hours later, Nemuri, now dressed again in her hero suit and sitting on Kai's lap, asked with a small smile while hugging her beloved's neck. Kai looked at Nemuri's flushed cheeks and replied in a very relaxed voice, as if he had just woken from a good dream.

“Yeah, it was great… I'd like to get a massage like that from time to time...”

“Then from now on, I'll make sure to give you one whenever I can, and I'll also teach the other girls how to do it, so you can always get one.” Nemuri tightened her embrace around Kai and commented in a happy voice while gently swaying her long legs. Kai hugged Nemuri's waist tighter and replied in an affectionate voice.

“Thank you, I love you.”

“And I love you more than anything in the world.” Nemuri replied in a soft, melodious voice, then initiated a tender kiss. When the kiss ended, Kai wanted to say something, but at that moment, he turned to look at the door and commented in a slightly surprised voice.

“Is it already lunchtime? Time really flies.”

“Are Momo and the others coming?” Nemuri asked curiously, to which Kai nodded casually, prompting her to get up from her beloved's lap and go prepare coffee and tea while checking her appearance.

Not long after, the workshop door opened, revealing Momo accompanied by her close friends Mina and Jiro and a couple who hadn't been to the workshop in a while: Tsuyu, the frog girl, and Hagakure, the invisible girl.

Upon entering, Momo walked and sat to Kai's right, while Mina and Jiro sat across from them along with Tsuyu and Hagakure. At that moment, Nemuri served tea for everyone, while Kai selectively ignored the questioning expressions on the young women's faces in front of him, focusing on the invisible girl, who seemed quite shy and somewhat uncomfortable.

“An unexpected visit. Are you here for lunch?” Kai asked while looking at Tsuyu and Hagakure. The frog girl nodded, and after taking a sip of tea, commented with a calm expression.

“Yes, I wanted to satisfy my curiosity, and Toru-chan wanted to thank you.”

After speaking, Tsuyu turned to look at the invisible girl, then fell silent calmly. Nervous, Hagakure Toru took a couple of deep breaths, then stood up and performed a 90-degree bow while thanking loudly, but her voice inevitably cracked halfway.

“Saito-san, thank you so much for the suit you made for me! It's the first time I've had a suit that can turn invisible with me and protect me; I've never felt so happy and safe… it really means a lot to me… Thank you so much, thank… you… I swear I'll pay you… even though I don't have the money now… I'll save up and pay you…”

As she spoke, Toru couldn't contain her emotions and ended up crying, clumsily trying to wipe her tears, which made all the girls stand up worriedly and try to comfort her. For his part, Kai, after drinking some tea, looked at the invisible girl and commented in a calm tone.

“You don't have to thank me or pay me; it was a request from Momo, so if you have to thank anyone, it's her. I'm just a hired handyman.”

Upon hearing Kai, Hagakure cried even more, thanking over and over while buried in Mina's chest. Meanwhile, Nemuri sat in a single armchair on the left side and looked at her beloved Kai with a tender smile on her face, feeling herself fall even more in love with her man. He, although he denied being a hero, at that moment, he almost seemed to emit a heroic halo in her eyes.

…

After a while, Toru finally managed to calm down enough, so everyone sat back down, while Momo proudly clung to Kai's arm. At that moment, the food arrived, so everyone began eating amid pleasant conversation, which was interrupted when Tsuyu looked directly at Kai and asked calmly.

“Saito-san, the man in black armor from last night was you, right?”

“I have no idea what you're talking about.” Kai looked at the straightforward frog girl and commented with a calm smile while Momo looked away with a guilty expression, making Nemuri shake her head amusedly.

“I see…”

Watching Momo's reaction, Tsuyu whispered quietly while Mina, Jiro, and Toru stared intently at Kai. In Mina's eyes, one could see a glint of fascination that didn't go unnoticed by Momo, who couldn't help but frown as the pink-skinned girl commented in a playful tone.

“Really, you don't know, Saito? He was a super strong man who fought hand-to-hand with All Might and defeated a very dangerous villain… Now there are many girls in love looking for him everywhere, and they've nicknamed him the 'Demon King.'”

“Really? How interesting; I'll keep an eye out to see how strong he is.” Kai replied in a disinterested tone while taking a bite of meat, which made Mina laugh. She quickly commented while staring at Kai.

“Look, he was super strong and cool, maybe stronger and more handsome than you… That 'Demon King' has stolen my heart; I'm his fan now.”

“Sounds like an interesting guy.” Kai returned Mina's gaze with disdain and replied in a casual tone, which provoked a singsong laugh from the pink-skinned girl.

But while Mina laughed, Jiro couldn't help but notice Momo's slightly furrowed brow, which made her squirm somewhat uncomfortably while giving warning looks to Mina. Meanwhile, Tsuyu couldn't help but slightly narrow her eyes, alternating her gaze between the laughing Mina and Momo, who was trying to hide her displeasure.

(Seems like there's going to be quite a drama here…)

As Tsuyu let out a small sigh, Nemuri looked at Mina somewhat thoughtfully but quickly shook her head and went back to eating as the conversation naturally shifted to the topic of the vacation on I-Island.

…

After a while, lunch ended, so all the girls said goodbye and left. At that moment, Kai took the pair of cats who had just eaten and headed to Nezu's office.

After knocking on the door, Kai entered the office of the curious Rat/Bear and sat in the chair across from the desk where he was. At that moment, Principal Nezu looked up from a tablet and commented, looking at Kai curiously.

“You caused quite a bit of trouble yesterday, Kai-kun. I haven't stopped receiving calls from everywhere.”

“Yeah, things got a little complicated… That damn Quirk thief was a tough nut to crack.” Kai commented with a small sigh, to which Nezu nodded understandingly, then commented.

“It's understandable; he was the greatest enemy of the Symbol of Peace for a reason. But putting that aside, Kai-kun, this situation has convinced me even more of how important it is for you to get your license. Your power will be necessary to deal with tricky enemies like that, and although for now I can contain the consequences, there are already several lobbying to take advantage. So we can't leave such an obvious weakness for them to exploit.

“Therefore, I want you to prepare. After the summer vacation, the entire class 1-A will be taking the provisional license exams, and you will participate in them. Although your license will be different from theirs, with more freedom and fewer restrictions, you will still have to take the exam and get stellar results. That will make it easier to justify special privileges later.”

“I see… I guess there's no other way. Let me know a couple of days before so I can mentally prepare…” Kai commented, letting out a somewhat exasperated sigh but looking relatively calm, which surprised Nezu.

Although the shrewd principal didn't show it in his expression, he began to analyze the Kai in front of him and compare him to the one in his memories, and the differences were too evident. Originally, Principal Nezu was prepared to face the young man's refusal and threats and negotiate for a while before he accepted. After all, the young man was quite arrogant, impulsive, and bad-tempered, something he had taken special note of from the first time they spoke.

But now, although he certainly didn't look very pleased, there was none of his usual refusal, imposing attitude, or threats to try to make things go his way. In fact, there wasn't even a trace of that intimidating aura that usually surrounded him; he felt calmer and more composed. Somehow, the young man seemed to have matured several years in a matter of weeks.

It didn't take long before Principal Nezu found the possible cause of the change: the trip to the spider island. On that island, the 15-year-old young man in front of him had been a hair's breadth from death and returned by pure luck. Certainly, such an event would be traumatic for a professional hero, let alone a young man without much experience.

(Although the change seems positive, it's necessary to approach it carefully and examine it in depth. There may be more subtle and less 'positive' changes that could lead to unpleasant situations in the future…)

Making a mental note, the principal quickly raised one of his paws in the air and soon commented in a high-pitched voice, acting quite adorable.

“Then I wish you luck, Kai-kun! The exam is on August 30th; I'll remind you a few days before.”

Seeing Nezu's act, Kai rolled his eyes and got up from the chair, then walked toward the door while commenting in a calm voice.

“Then that's settled. Later, I'll send you the report I have left to pass on to you; I'm just compiling it. I'll go to the gym for a bit. By the way, that exam wasn't in the contract, so prepare a good compensation.”

“Of course.” Nezu commented in a cheerful voice, his gaze fixed on the young man's broad back.
