Chapter 237: Your strongest ally.

--Friday, June 12, 2172

A few days later, Kai was in the mansion’s living room, typing code at high speed on a sleek and minimalist laptop, dressed in a shirt and trousers that made him look elegant and attractive. After a few minutes, Kai leaned back in his chair and let out a sigh, at which moment a calm, feminine voice resonated behind him.

“Tired?” Keiko, wearing a simple black dress, placed her delicate hands on Kai’s shoulders.

“More like exasperated—I ran into another tough nut to crack.” Kai sighed again, his expression a bit annoyed. Keiko smiled charmingly and began to massage the young man’s shoulders as she spoke.

“Want me to help? I promise to keep the secret.”

Kai looked up and met Keiko’s eyes behind her elegant black-rimmed glasses. Keiko returned the look with a small, calm smile, never stopping the massage.

“…I suppose your help wouldn’t hurt.”

After a few seconds, Kai let out a small sigh and said, as he adjusted himself in his chair. With a slightly broader smile, Keiko sat on the left armrest of Kai’s chair and started looking at the laptop. After a quick glance, Keiko immediately got a sense of what Kai was doing, so she rose from her spot and commented with a smile.

“Rin, could you bring me my computer?”

Almost immediately, a woman of around thirty came out of the kitchen wearing the classic black-and-white maid uniform. Her light lilac hair was perfectly gathered in a bun, and her face greatly resembled Mrs. Yoshiko’s, only younger. After a small bow toward Keiko, the woman walked calmly toward the stairs.

“She’s quite good.” Kai said, watching the woman out of the corner of his eye. Keiko nodded as she stood up.

“Yes, she’s done a fine job running the Yaoyorozu mansion so far.”

“I see. Who stayed with Momo at the mansion?” Kai asked calmly as he looked over the computer. Keiko sat on the sofa across from Kai and replied with a smile.

“The deputy housekeeper stayed. She’s still a little short of Rin’s level, but Momo wants to take care of her friends herself, so she doesn’t have to do much.”

Picturing Momo, Kai couldn’t help but smile in amusement, then he looked up to look at Keiko. At that moment, with a calm expression, Keiko slowly and deliberately uncrossed her legs, then crossed them again with the other leg underneath, and reached out her hand for the laptop.

Keiko’s movement inevitably led to Kai, who was sitting in front of her, catching a glimpse of the view beneath her dress. Trying to ignore the image of those sexy legs and the sheer black thong, Kai looked Keiko in the eyes and said evenly.

“I imagine Momo’s having a blast.”

“Quite.”

Keiko replied in a cheerful voice, though a faintly playful curve showed at the corner of her lips as she looked at Kai. But the beautiful mother quickly opened the computer and spoke in a steady tone.

“All right, but on a serious note—it looks like you’re trying to pinpoint someone’s location. What do you have?”

“Not much—some minor leads I’ve been gathering and a few proxy servers that connected to bait I set up earlier, but I haven’t been able to uncover anything important.” Kai answered more seriously. Keiko nodded and began typing rapidly on her computer while simultaneously reviewing the data Sage was sending her.

“They look pretty good. Why are you chasing these people?” Keiko asked without taking her eyes off the screen. Kai replied calmly.

“They’re a rather strange group that seems to be looking for information about the lab I found on the Island of Spiders. I suspect they know something.”

“The spiders…?” Keiko stopped typing for a second and looked at Kai but quickly resumed and spoke with seriousness. “I see. I’ll give you a hand with that—leave it to me. You can focus on something else.”

“Then I’ll leave it in your capable hands. But don’t tell the others—you know how they are.” Kai said as he closed his laptop. Keiko looked up and, without stopping her typing, commented with a mischievous smile as she glanced at Kai.

“Of course—though silence ought to be rewarded.”

“What do you want?” Kai asked with a small smile, though inwardly he felt a bit wary. Keiko smiled beautifully and said.

“Why don’t we go to the beach one of these days with the others? Since Yumiko started working again, I feel a bit lonely at home.”

“Sounds like a good idea. How about we do it before going to I-Island? That way we could spend a little time vacationing and finish the trip at I-Island all together.” Kai said, somewhat thoughtful, letting out a subtle sigh of relief. Keiko nodded and replied with a smile.

“Perfect. I’ll get a swimsuit ready.”

“Then it’s decided—I’ll tell the others later.” Kai replied with a smile, but at that moment, his reliable assistant sent him a telepathic message that changed his expression.

[Master, I found confirmation of the information Nezu gave us. There really is a report like the one he mentioned in the private network files of the Secretariat of Security.]

[What did you find?] Kai asked in a serious tone, thoughts accelerating to the maximum. Sage showed Kai a holographic screen in [In] mode with a text file and explained.

[For now there’s only the document recording the testimony of the Japanese archaeologist who took part in the expedition, but little else. The plant we managed to slip in didn’t have a high enough security level—this is the best I could get.]

[It doesn’t matter; what matters is that Nezu was telling the truth—there really is such a document. Does it say where the discovery was made?] Kai said as he skimmed the document at full speed. Sage shook her head and explained.

[No, it only states the name of the archaeology mission, with no mention of the site, and I haven’t found more data. However, I found a place in the Granadan Confederation, where statues very similar to the one we saw in the tunnel were found.]

[I see… Make a hole in my schedule; I’ll go personally to the Granadan Confederation to set a marker.] Kai replied in a serious tone. At that moment Keiko’s worried voice sounded in front of him.

“Is something wrong, Kai?”

“Yes. I’ll have to make a trip to the Granadan Confederation.”

Kai said with a serious expression. Somewhat surprised, Keiko looked at him for a few moments, wanting to know if he was joking, but seeing how serious he was, she quickly asked with a hint of apprehension.

“What happened?”

After thinking for a moment, Kai decided to give her a brief explanation of what had happened with Nezu, the ancient city, and the statue. Ever since the beautiful black-haired mother had taken his side without a second’s hesitation when he confessed his romance with the girls, Kai felt much more at ease and close to her—enough to share thoughts and ideas he would easily discuss with the other girls.

“…Kai, I understand that you’re strong, but…”

After hearing the whole story, Keiko looked at Kai with a complicated expression and spoke, full of uncertainty. Wanting to support her Kai but too worried to do so, Keiko pressed her lips together and looked at him for a few seconds. But when she saw that the young man was about to speak with a calm and confident expression, she quickly stood up.

With quick steps, Keiko came to stand before Kai and, without thinking for even a second, lifted one leg to straddle his lap. With their noses just a few centimeters apart, Keiko looked at the surprised Kai and spoke in a firm tone, laden with infinite love.

“Kai, I want to support you and take your side. I know you’re strong and very few things can hurt you, but I love you, and I worry about you. I don’t want to see you hurt; I don’t want you to suffer; I don’t want you to take risks. If you truly feel you have to investigate the spiders, I’ll support you—the only thing I ask in return is that you take care of yourself.

“If you have to run, run. Abandon whoever you have to abandon. Never hesitate—your life is the most important thing to me… If you promise me that—that you’ll always think first of your survival and well-being before anything else—I swear I’ll support you with all my heart and with all my resources… Can you promise me that?”

Looking into Keiko’s almost pleading eyes, Kai couldn’t help but fall silent for a few moments, feeling the weight of her love more than ever. Seeing Keiko’s gaze grow more apprehensive with each passing second, Kai decided to give an answer to this great woman who cared so much for him.

Grasping Keiko’s slender waist firmly, Kai spoke in a steady tone, staring directly into her eyes.

“Unless you or someone in the family is in danger, I won’t risk myself like I did again. Eva was a very special case, and it won’t happen again.”

Feeling Kai’s large, warm hands at her waist, Keiko felt a comforting sense of security envelop her. With a lovestruck smile on her face, Keiko sank onto Kai and hugged him tightly, then whispered in his ear in a loving voice.

“Stay safe, Kai… That’s all I want from you—nothing more. As long as my Momo and you are safe and happy, I’ll be the happiest woman in the world.”

“I will always keep Momo safe and do my best to make her as happy as I can.” Kai answered seriously, ignoring the sensation of Keiko’s soft breasts against his chest. Keiko lightly tapped Kai’s shoulder and spoke in an upset voice.

“Not just Momo—you also need to be safe and happy. If something bothers you, tell your Keiko. I’ll take care of it for you.”

Upon hearing Keiko, Kai couldn’t help but smile and embrace the beautiful mother, but that only intensified the sensation of her massive breasts pressing against him. This led him to comment in a somewhat uncomfortable voice.

“…Maybe wearing a bra would make me feel more comfortable right now…”

“Are this old woman’s breasts bothering you…?” Keiko asked with a sad, dejected tone. Kai shook his head and responded in a slightly evasive voice.

“You’re not old, and it’s not that they bother me; it’s just that, you know, I’m Momo’s boyfriend…”

Feeling something slightly harden and brush softly against her, Keiko’s dejected expression vanished completely, replaced by one of pure delight and mischief. Hiding her face from Kai by hugging him, Keiko leaned close to his ear and whispered in a low, seductive voice.

“If that’s the issue, don’t worry… If you’re interested, you can use my breasts however you like. I’ll keep it a secret from the others…”

Hearing Keiko’s words, Kai couldn’t help but turn to look at her in disbelief. Keiko, with a faint blush on her cheeks, avoided his gaze and only whispered in a low voice as she slid the strap of her dress down to reveal her breast.

“I’m your strongest ally. I’ll always be on your side and support you in anything you want to do… With me, you don’t need to hold back in any way… You can ask me for anything… I’ll keep your secrets to the grave…”

“But Momo…” Kai could only mutter in a somewhat lost voice. Keiko, with visible shyness, guided Kai’s hand to her exposed breast and whispered in a voice laden with lust.

“I’ll take care of Momo too. I know my little girl better than anyone…”

“…”

Kai fell silent as Keiko placed his hand on her exposed breast and made him squeeze it. At that very moment, Kai sensed the person he was waiting for enter the range of his Observation Haki, so he whispered in a low voice.

“Yumiko’s here.”

Upon hearing Kai, Keiko bit her lips in slight frustration, but after a few seconds, she pulled away from him and stood with some reluctance. As she adjusted her dress to cover her breasts, Keiko caught the subtle look Kai gave her, which made her smile with joy.

After cautiously looking around, Keiko lifted her dress, revealing to Kai her tiny black transparent panties. With slow movements, Keiko slipped the panties off in front of a stunned Kai, then approached him and whispered in his ear while slipping the panties into one of his pockets.

“I love you too, Kai, just like Nemuri and the others. My body and my heart have been yours for a long time, and I don’t mind sharing you or being your secret lover. If you want, anytime or anywhere, I’ll be ready for you to take me. I’ll handle everything else.”

After speaking, Keiko walked over to sit in front of Kai, and without a hint of subtlety, she spread her legs, revealing her wet intimacy, before crossing them again, adjusting her dress and hair to greet Yumiko.

Meanwhile, Kai was left staring at the alluring woman before him, speechless and filled with doubts, while the item hidden in his pocket seemed to radiate a heat that threatened to overwhelm him… He had never imagined something like this would happen while waiting for Yumiko to go to the meeting to sign the divorce papers.
