Chapter 8: A new companion
"Son, come down!"
Simon was extremely annoyed, it was too early in the morning to be shouting so loud. He stuffed a pillow over his head to try to go back to sleep.
"SIMON! COME DOWN!"
Simon threw his pillow trying to vent his anger. The pillow flew into the wall with enough force to explode in a cloud of feathers though there was not even a scratch on the wooden surface.
"I AM COMING!"
He got up from bed cursing all the while as he got to the door still in his nightwear which was just underwear to hide his precious bits. He slammed the door behind him with so much strength that it caused the frame and the surrounding wooden structure to rattle. This made him stumble in shock and he almost fell on his face before catching himself.
"What the..."
The shock caused his anger to evaporate and replaced it with confused curiosity. A chorus of clicking and skittering followed the loud bang coming ever closer. This was not the first time Simon heard it but even now it made his skin crawl.
Simon turned his head to see a monster girl whose lower half was a giant centipede. Simon never heard her talk, only making clicking noises that his dad could easily understand. If there was any shred of anger left in him it had quickly evaporated into goosebumps inducing unease.
The low light in the windowless hallway did not help matters at all.
Simon said
"Nope."
Then he quickly bolted downstairs to see the commotion, all of a sudden very happy that he was being called upon.
"SI... Oh! You are here!" Victor exclaimed.
"Yes, Dad!" Simon stood at attention, trying to get his shivering body under control. Creepy aunt always gave him the chills.
"Remember when I said all you had to do was wait?" His dad's surprise turned into a grin as he said this.
"Oh. Yes." Simon parroted back, rubbering his shoulders to get skin-crawling sensations out of his body.
"Well... I think it is time we start giving you legitimate tamer lessons instead of just teaching you theory." Victor said, in a surprising amount of eagerness. It had been a long while since he felt this sort of childish excitement, but the thought of the surprise on his son's face took him back to the time he had received Cathy. The nostalgic memories combined with the current gave him a burst of youthful jubilance.
"Ok." Simon's mind was still elsewhere but his father only chalked that up to him still being drowsy.
"So, to start the next step of your training I shall give you your first monster girl!" He shouted.
"Ok," Simon said with no other outer reaction, much to Victor's disappointment. He looked at his son with a raised eyebrow but kept quiet.
Simon's mind stopped for a second, his dad's loud words not registering even as reverberated in his skull. Then it sat in his head for a couple of seconds before it finally clicked.
"Wait...What?!?!" Simon's eyebrows shot up as his eyes opened wide. A million thoughts were running through his head but none of them made any sense.
The failing smirk on Victor's face came back in full as he found the reaction he was looking for. He waggled the glowing crystal gem in the air as asked his son.
"Do you know what this is?" He asked in a teasing tone, Simon took it as a legitimate question. and like the countless times his dad held an oral examination, he went off on a long-winded explanation.
"That is a portable monster girl storage gem, designed to store partially bonded monster girls so that they remain caged and/or loyal to the tamer trying to bind the monster girl. It imitates the second stage of bonding a monster girl making it a reliable buffer for most monster girls. The glow suggests..."
"Hold up there kiddo!" Victor held up his one free hand in surrender stopping Simon from continuing.
"This is not an impromptu exam. Your dad just decided it is time you started your own 'family' and so he risked hand and limb to get you this gem."
Kit who was also present in the room only smiled, neither of the two males noticed her smile because if they did she would surely be questioned. That smile was not a happy or even an angry one. It was a very feral one that promised mischief to a deific degree. The other monster girl Demigora who was also in the background noticed this and looked at her in confusion. She would ask her vastly more powerful sister what was up soon.
The two men, however, were in their own little world speaking with each other with excited breath.
"Wanna see what I got you?" Victor also did not know what was inside the gem, Victor had asked Kit to get a monster girl. He had tried to get a mid-tiered monster girl using his connections but when one was out of the game for as long as Victor, that side proved to be a bust. Going out personally would take too long so he dumped the responsibility on to Kit who was surprisingly happy to do so.
He tapped the gem and in a flash of pure white light, there stood the first monster girl Simon would call his own.
Her body was a cross-breed of hard visible muscle and generous proportions which were common to most canine variants who straddled the line of 'hard and soft. Her dark tan skin was smooth without blemish which was the norm for monster girls, her face was a mix of sensual and feral beauty like Kit's but to a much lesser degree. That was not the only similarity to Kit as like her the monster girl also had long canine ears on the top of her head. But everything else was more unique, her hands which looked very soft ended with razor-sharp claws, she had only one tail and the white fur on it was more wild and bushy, her hair also carried this feral trend. Her canine blue eyes were darting around wildly clearly still feral.
Two things surprised Victor, first the black bands on the completely nude monster girl, such things usually suggested a rare variant or something of that sort. The second is the absolute lack of any body hair outside of the head and tail. An easy sign that the monster was at the low-high tier.
The monster first locked her eyes on Victor then noticed the two other monster girls near him and immediately turned around, only to be face to face with Simon. Without a second thought jumped the boy. Simon was still admiring the form of the new monster girl and was not at all prepared for the rough tackle he received and immediately fell to the floor.
"Victor. Let us leave the lovebirds be. Remember, the first time is almost always a guarantee."
This brought Victor out of his worried stare as the wolfen monster girl shredded the boy's only article of clothing, saving him from witnessing his son's bits for the umpteenth time.
That was right, a tamer without any tames was like a drug to most monster girls and they received a massive boost in the likelihood of a 'miracle bond' forming. Even if that was not the case his son was rated to last a hundred orgasms even with high-tier monster girls, and he could come back and check in a few hours if the bond completely formed or not.
"Dad... what is happening?..." asked the boy as the monster girl blocked the view to his lower half(thank whatever god that existed).
"You are getting your first bond. Good luck."
He turned and left the house to get ready for his day followed by Kit and Demigora.
I do not want to make a chapter to give an idea of some of the simplified mechanics so I will list them at the end of the chapter as they continue to pop up.
Tiers
0-7,8*
0,1,2-low tier monsters, 0-are just pets, 1- minor low tier, 2- high low tier
3,4-mid tier monsters, 3 -low mid tier, 4- high mid tier
5,6-high tier monsters, 5-low high, 6-high elite
7-powerhouses
legendary-monsters with certain absurd abilities that push them out of norms(minimum low high in terms of power outside their unique abilities)
epic-monsters that through action or luck, surpass their current tier despite not evolving past their tier.
mythic-a combination of legendary and epic.
8*-Certain powerhouse mythic monsters can push past the current boundaries of power and achieve something which is likened to 'godhood'.
miracle bonding-Every time a monster consumes a particular essence, there is a very very very very small chance that a complete bond will instantly form. The chances increase based on how powerful the tamer is but it never surpasses the first tame when the chance is exaggeratedly multiplied.
