87 Excited auction
"Huh, her majesty is also bidding."
"Hasn't the imperial clan already obtained the pill? Why is her majesty bidding for this pill?"
"If they wanted to buy the pill, then why bother auctioning it? They can buy directly from the seller."
"Could it be they simply wanted to increase the price of the pill?"
"Isn't it against the rules?"
The people were surprised and whispered to each other. Everyone knew that Queen was the owner of the Cloud Auction House, and doubt appeared in their mind. Does she really want to buy the pill, or is she just raising the price of the pill so that their auction house can get more profit?
"Everyone, we have already told you that these pills are not the property of the auction house, we are just middlemen. It is a fair auction, whoever bids the highest will win." Seeing the people commenting negatively, Deng Jiao spoke and cleared their doubts.
"900,000!" While others were hesitating from bidding against the Queen. Alchemist Wang's voice appeared. "It seems that her majesty also needs this pill. However, those who are capable will get it. It depends on who has the most spiritual stones!" Alchemist Wang said and raise the bid.
"If that is the case, we will not be polite then." Others clan leaders said they called the next. Once again, the intense bidding season started.
"960,000!"
"980,000!"
"990,000!"
"1,000,000!"
At this moment, the price had already soared to 1,000,000 spirit stones, and it was still rising rapidly, making the other bidders unable to catch up. "In terms of strength, these big clans are still the richest."
"Among the big clans, the imperial clan is the wealthiest, looks like this precious pill will fall into her majesty's hands."
"Not necessarily. Looking at the Alchemist Wang's expression, it seems like this pill is of great use to him. And don't forget that alchemy is the wealthiest profession in the world."
"You shouldn't underestimate the wealth of the chamber of commerce. Unicorn Merchant Union, Silver Jade Merchant Group's business expands into five kingdoms."
"Yeah, yeah!"
"Yeah, that is for sure! Let's see who will obtain the first pill! This is not just a pill; it is a chance to reach Spirit Lord Realm. I am sure that each big figure will be ready to bleed out every single coin today.
"1,450,000!"
"1,480,000!"
As the price continued to increase, although the three clan leaders wanted the Spirit Ascension Pill, they chose to give up in the end and decided to bid for the next one.
"1,700,000 spirit stones!"
As Alchemist Wang shouted the price, the entire venue fell silent. This was almost the highest price ever auctioned in the history of Red Cloud City!
In the end, the first pill was brought by the Alchemist Wang for 1.7 million Low-Grade Spirit Stones.
Deng Jiao soon proceeded to auction the second pill. "The second pill! The starting bid is 100,000 low-grade spirit stones! Please note, each pill is the same top-quality pill!"
'We've already missed the First Pill. There are only five pills, so we must bid for this pill.' Every leader had the same thoughts.
"150,000 spirit stones!"
"200,000 spirit stones!"
"300,000 spirit stones!"
..
"800,000 spirit stones!"
"900,000 spirit stones!"
In just a few short breaths, the price had already soared to 1,000,000 spirit stones, and it was still rising. This scene was unprecedented in Red Cloud City. The crowd shouted the price like crazy, which really made people speechless.
"Even if I don't have the money to bid, it's not a loss to see such a scene."
"I participated in the auction, and I also auctioned it. In the future, we can go out and say that we've seen the Fifth Rank Top Quality before."
"The temptation of power is really great. People are throwing their clan's entire wealth for just one pill."
"What do you know? A Spirit Lord Realm is a transcending existent. Even if they have to spend their entire clan's wealth, it will be worth it."
"However, it will be worth it only if they succeed to reach Spirit Lord Realm. Otherwise, it will make them bankrupt.
...
In the end, the second pill was won by Li Song for 1.55 Million Low-Grade Spirit Stones.
Third Pill - Miao Clan's Patriarch (1.6 Million)
Fourth Pill - Fang Clan's Patriarch (1.5 Million)
Firth Pill - Silver Jade Merchant's leader (1.75 Million)
Those who obtained the pills indulged in joy and excitement, while those who couldn't win let out a regretful sigh.
"Haha, we got it!"
"Congratulations Patriarch in advance! Our Miao clan will rise again."
"Don't cheer in advance. We have to arrange the remaining half million spirit stones within a few minutes." Miao Zhong said hastily. The excitement on his face was very obvious.
In Fang Clan's room!
"Leader, is it alright to spend so much on this pill?" A clan elder said to the middle-aged woman.
"Do we have other choices? Our Miao clan is already the weakest among the four clans, they are trying to suppress us for years. This pill is the only hope for our clan." Fang Qingzhao looked at the elder and said seriously.
"Sigh, the Red Cloud Kingdom is going to change drastically due to these pills." An old man sighed with an apprehension look.
Du Wan and others didn't have wealth as much Miao Clan and Fang Clan, so they could only comfort themselves. Even if they had the Spirit Ascension Pill, it did not mean that they would be able to break through smoothly.
Otherwise, every clan would have to put all their efforts to buy the Spirit Ascension Pill to allow them to break through.
Even though that was what they said, Du Wan and others' expressions did not look good. In comparison, Miao Zhong and Fang Qingzhao were extremely pleased.
Du Wan secretly clenched his fists. The Du clan could afford 1.4 Million spirit stones. However, mobilizing such a large amount of funds in such a short period would probably have a certain impact on the Du clan. He didn't want to gamble his entire clan's wealth on a single pill.
'What a bummer, I was thinking of buying two pills. But the price of the pill exceeded my estimation." Her budget was around 2.5 million. As the ruler of the kingdom, she needed money to maintain and run the kingdom. She couldn't just spend all of her money on the pills. And she knew that there were still five more pills to sell, she could try to win one in the next round.
On the other side, Shi Tian was greatly surprised by the prices of the pills. His maximum estimation was only one million, never thought they would sell for one and a half million. This was a huge sum of money for these small clans. That was true, in his eyes they are indeed poor people.
"Congratulations to all who won the pills. And those who weren't able to buy one, I have good news for them." At this time, Deng Jiao spoke loudly. "We will hold a special auction in five day. Spirit Asension Pill is going to appear in the next auction so don't forget to attain next auction."
"What, more pills. When did fifth rank become so casual?"
"Just who is the manufacture of these pills."
The crowd exploded into noise when they heard the announcement.
Du Wan's mood became delighted, "Yes, we still have a chance. I will definitely seize the pill next time." Others also have similar thoughts.
"I now announce that the auction has ended. Please collect your winning item from staff." Deng Jiao before walking away. People also started to leave. Shi Tian remained still in his room. Deng Jiao needed to collect the money from the buyers who bought his pills, it would take a few minutes.
...
In the staff room, Deng Jiao and Li Yinzi were sitting together, sitting in front them were four people, three male and one female. These four people were Miao Zhong, Alchemist Wang, Fang Qingzhao, Lin Shanyuan (Silver Jade Merchant).
Deng Jiao took out the four vials, each containing a single pill, and placed the vials on the table.
"Here are the pills, please check to confirm." Deng Jiao said calmly.
The four people immediately picked up a vial and opened it hastily before she could finish speaking.
"This is truly Top-Quality Pill! I have been practicing alchemy for decades but i have never seen such a quality pill. Marvelous!" Alchemist Wang examine the pill closely and said in awe. Others were also fascinated by the pills.
