85 Queen’s concern
Not long after, the Cloud Auction House was filled with people.
Carriage after carriage arrived as all the big clans arrived at the Cloud Auction House to see the fifth-rank pill.
"See, its carriage of her majesty. Even her majesty arrived."
"It's normal, the fifth-rank pill is too precious. after all."
The Queen and Li Yinzi came in a royal carriage with imperial guards. As they came down from the carriage, the crowd bowed and saluted respectfully.
"Long Live Her Majesty!"
"Long Live her majesty!"
The Queen waved her hand at the crowd before entering the auction house. Deng Jiao was waiting for her at the door.
"Your majesty, you are here!" Deng Jiao stepped forward to greet her.
"How is it going?" the Queen asked.
"The auction is still ongoing. There is still some time." Deng Jiao said as she led both Queen and Li Yinzi into her private room. Where she showed them the Spirit Ascension Pill.
Both Queen and Li Yinzi inspected the pill closely with amazed looks on their face.
"It is really a High-Quality Pill; I have never seen such a pure pill before." The Queen said in a daze and desire. She felt a strong yearning to consume this pill on the spot.
Li Yinzi's nose wrinkled slightly because he smelled a familiar smell from this pill.
"According to him, this can increase the chances of a person crossing the realm by ninety percent. This pill is called the Spirit Ascension Pill refined from Golen Peach Fruits and an advanced version of the Spirit Advancement Pill. One can consume this without any care of setback."
'It's really Golden Peach Fruit! Could it be him?' Yinzi's eyes flickered when she heard the name of Golen Peach Fruit. it can't be a coincidence. And Deng Jiao said that the person who brought the pill was a young man.
"We have to buy this pill. Li Yinzi has already reached the Spirit Lord Realm; with this, I will also reach Spirit Lord Realm." Queen said with a firm look. "And No matter what happens, we can't let this pill fall into the hands of other nobles, otherwise our clan will be threatened again."
"Her Majesty, I am afraid we can't control it this time." Deng Jiao sighed.
"Why so?"
"Because, he didn't come here to sell one but ten pills."
"What? T.. ten pills!" Both the Queen and Li Yinzi exclaimed in shock.
Deng Jiao nodded and took out the rest of the pills and said, "We can take two or three pills but ten, I am afraid we can't."
Queen's expression became serious when she saw the ten pills. Her inner mind fell into turmoil. She knew that these pills were going to bring chaos to the Red Cloud Kingdom and as the ruler, she would have to bear the responsibility to quell the chaos.
Three women started the discussion to find the solution to this problem.
...
Inside the VIP Room,
Shi Tian was sitting on a chair while Shao Changying was standing behind him, her hands were moving on his shoulder. She was massaging his shoulders while chatting with him.
Shao Changying suggested a massage, and Shi Tian agreed. Shi Tian found the auction appealing at first, but as time passed, he gradually started getting bored. The auction was too slow, they were taking many minutes to auction one item. Furthermore, the treasures that appeared in the auction house were all ordinary and nothing piqued his interest.
On the other, Shao Changying finally understood what's meaning of being rich. The crowd was going crazy over these treasures while he looked at them with disdain as he was looking at garbage.
"Your massage skills are not bad." Shi Tian
"I used to work at the massage center. I learned massage skills there." Shao Changying said as she continued to massage his shoulder over his clothes. She noticed that his personality was easygoing and honest. She worked in the shops for years, she regularly met nobles and cultivators. Most of the nobles and wealthy people contained arrogance and a sense of superiority. But Shi Tian was not like that.
"Chengying, are you married?"
"No Sir, I am married yet but I have a fiancé. We were about to get married last month but couldn't due to the war. Not long ago, he got promoted and became a guard in the imperial palace. If everything goes well, we will get married next month." Shao Changying shook her head slowly and spoke. "By the way, why do you ask sir?" Her imagination couldn't but run wild for a moment.
"Oh," Shi Tian nodded slightly. "Don't misunderstand me. I see you are pregnant and curiously asked"
"What? I'm pregnant. Sir, please don't kid me." Shao Changying exclaimed in shock, she refused to believe his words.
"Oh, you didn't know!" Shi Tian clicked his tongue and regretted it instantly.
"I'm not kidding, you are indeed pregnant. I just noticed it." Shi Tian unintentionally scan her with his divine sense when she came forward to massage his shoulders. She was just a Third-layer Spirit Gathering Realm cultivator. With just one touch, he could scan her entire body.
"How can it be? We did it three times!" Shao Changying froze in shock and mumbled slowly.
Shi Tian rolled her eyes at her, 'lady, one time is already enough to create a baby.'
"Knock! Knock!" While Shao Changying was trying to comprehend the situation, someone knocked on the door. However, she didn't hear it as she was lost in her thoughts.
"Changying!" Shi Tian called out.
"Hmmm, what? Sorry, sir. I was distracted. What happened, sir." Under the call of Shi Tian, Shao Changying suddenly woke up from a daze and apologized immediately.
"Someone on the door!" Shi Tian said without looking back.
Knock! Knock!
"Ahh... sorry! I will see who it is." Shao Changying sobered up a little and hastily opened the door to check who was outside.
"Who is... Hmm, Manager Jiao!" Shao Changying was stunned after seeing Deng Jiao outside. However, the next moment, her shock intensified after she saw the other two figures behind Deng Jiao.
"Your Majesty!" Shao Changying bowed immediately.
"Hm! What are they doing here?' Shi Tian was startled when he sensed familiar auras. He was not very familiar with the Queen, but he distinctly recognized the auras of Li Yinzi and Deng Jiao.
"Little Brother Tian, do you have a minute? Someone wants to meet you." Deng Jiao spoke politely.
"Sure, come in!" Shi Tian said while turning his head back.
Deng Jiao nodded toward the Queen, then the three of them entered the room. The room was big and had enough furniture to accommodate six people. While Changying left the room on her own.
As they came inside, both parties inspected each other.
Li Song was wearing a royal blue colored long dress that matched her magnificent disposition of a queen while Li Yinzi was wearing red attire with black designs on it. Both women looked energetic and were wearing very light makeup today, enhancing their beauty. Especially Li Yinzi who just reached Spirit Lord Realm blessed with reinvigorated blood Qi and an extended lifespan because of this promotion.
Shi Tian wasn't surprised that she had reached Spirit Lord Realm. She must have consumed the Golden Peach Fruit. His mother refined three to four pills from each fruit while she ate the entire fruit.
Li Yinzi stared at the young man; his body structure was the same even wearing similar clothes. He should be him. She thought inwardly as she continued to examine him.
After sitting on the chairs, the Queen spoke first.
"Hello, My name is Li Song. First of all, I would like to welcome you to my kingdom and thank you for choosing our auction house to sell the precious pills." Queen said with a humble smile.
"It's alright." Shi Tian nodded lightly then he looked at Li Yinzi and said with a smile, "We met again."
"Hmm! Yinzi, you have met before." Queen Li Song and Deng Jiao were surprised to hear his words; Li Song couldn't help but curiously asked Li Yinzi.
Li Yinzi gave an intense glare to Shi Tian and replied to the Queen, "We met in the mountains yesterday." She didn't tell her about Shi Tian because it was a humiliating incident in her eyes. She gave a stern glare to him as she was warning him not to tell the Queen about the incident. Shi Tian found it amusing.
"So, what do you want to talk about?" Shi Tian looked at the Queen and asked casually. "Just call me Tian."
The Queen has some concerns. After the last war, the strength of the imperial family decreased significantly. The three major clans didn't participate in the war and weren't affected by the war. Now they started eyeing the imperial family. Naturally, they didn't dare to revolt because of the deterrence of an unknown expert who helped the imperial family last time. But they might not be willing to bow their head to the Queen like before. If she wanted to maintain peace in the red cloud kingdom, she needed Shi Tian's cooperation.
Hearing her words, Shi Tian felt like a headache coming. 'I just came here to earn money. What does all of this have to do with me? However, I don't want the Red Cloud City to fall into chaos because of me either.
Shi Tian contemplated. As a man from the modern era, he wasn't fond of the monarchy system. However, the monarchy system of this world wasn't entirely bad either. At least, Li Song was not a bad leader.
"So, what do you want me to do? I don't care who buys my pills, if you have enough money, I will sell them to you directly. Otherwise" Shi Tian said calmly.
"No. no... I just want your permission for something. Before selling the pills, I will ask them to sign the peace agreement that they will not make extreme action in the kingdom after promotion. If they agreed to this condition, the Red Cloud Kingdom will retain its peacefulness." The Queen shook her head and hastily explained.
"Oh, that's how is it?" Shi Tian was pleasantly surprised. He found her idea very pleasing after all as a native of Red Cloud Kingdom he would also prefer tranquility.
"No problem!" Shi Tian nodded.
Seeing he agreed immediately, Queen's eyes flickered with delight and she said a grateful look, "Thank you. I owe you a favor. Please feel free to ask if you need any kind of aid."
"Sure!
