84 Tremor in city due to appearance of pill
Deng Jiao's suggestion was good and effective. But she was sure he wouldn't agree. She thought he must have come out to gain experience, and wouldn't remain in the city for long.
However, unimpededly Shi Tian agreed to sell the pill in two batches. Five today and five in the next auction. However, one month was too long. Shi Tian asked her to sell the remaining five pills in a week. That means she needed to hold a particular auction next week to sell these five pills.
A normal fifth-rank pill costs around a hundred thousand low-grade spirit stones or ten thousand mid-grade spirit stones. While a top quality like these could easily fetch seventy to eighty thousand mid-grade spirit stones.
This amount used to mean nothing to his family in the past, but it was different now. He should try to earn more than he could.
Although Shi Tian has ninety-plus Top-Grade Spirit Stone rewarded by the system. He can't use them as currency, he reserved them for cultivation.
"Madam Jiao, the auction is about to begin," said one of the servants from behind the door.
"I will be there in a moment!" Wang Shuren loudly replied.
"We can talk after the auction." Shi Tian said a moment later.
Deng Jiao nodded at his suggestion, and she stored all the vials that were on the table in her storage ring.
Deng Jiao led Shi Tian out of the room, where she proceeded to direct the beautiful lady Shao Changying to bring Shi Tian to one of the VIP guest rooms and to serve him for the day.
After that, Deng Jiao hastily called a servant, whispered in her ear, and said, "Deliver this message to Her Majesty as fast as you can." The servant nodded with a serious expression before leaving in a hurry.
...
The VIP guest room was a single large square room with a few furniture along with a luxurious chair seated a few steps behind the large glass wall that showcased the entire view of the auction room, where the auction would take place.
When taken to this room, Shao Changying said: "Esteemed Guest, if you see something you wish to make an offer on, just say it out loud and your voice will be broadcast into the auction room for everybody to hear. Additionally, your privacy when inside this room is a top priority, this room is protected by formation, nobody can peak inside using their divine sense and the glass wall can only be seen through from your end."
"How thoughtful." Shi Tian was impressed. He released his divine sense, as she said he can't peak into other rooms.
"If Esteemed Guest requires any assistance at any time during the auction, you can call for me, as I will be standing here by the door until the end of the auction." Shao Changying said politely.
"Hmm!" Shi Tian nodded his head slightly. His eyes were looking through the glass. He could see the crowd that was sitting downstairs. This Auction House was built like a drama theater, normal people get to sit in the hall while VIP guests get to sit in the private rooms. Everyone has a clear view of the stage.
It was at this moment the lights in the auction room dimmed, and Deng Jiao appeared on the stage, stunning the crowd with her bewitching beauty. She faced them with a bright smile and waited for the people to quiet down.
"Welcome to the Cloud Auction House! Normally, one of the auction house's servants would be doing the auction, but I have something important to announce. We just received a treasure at the auction. It's a super treasure that hasn't appeared in the auction for decades. It's a fifth-rank spirit advancement pill."
The audience of over several hundred people became disturbingly quiet. Their reaction did not discourage her. She reacted the same way when she learned about the pill!
There was a small clamor at first but it exploded the next moment, caused by screams of excitement and shock from the audience.
"Manager Jiao, did you say a fifth rank spirit advancement pill."
"You are not kidding, right."
Many shouts could be heard as they looked at Deng Jiao for an answer.
Her words caused some excitement in the audience but more were confusing. Any item above fifth grade was incredibly precious, yet, the Cloud Auction House was willing to sell it?
Not to mention, there seems to be a lack of promotion. If the Cloud Auction House spread the word that an item that once a Fifth rank pill will be put up in the auction, the entire Red Cloud Kingdom will make a move! But they chose not to do so. The thought made people skeptical.
Deng Jiao read the room and quickly explained, "This pill is given to us by a senior to auction. As for why we were not able to announce it before because we just received it a moment ago. As for the future details, you have to wait for some until we reach the final stage."
As the crowd roared loudly, Deng Jiao glanced at the VIP guest room that was slightly above them before stepping down from the stage.
People who were sitting in the Vip room woke up from a daze and responded, their first response to notify the family or clan behind them. Some send their servant while some run themselves.
Soon another lady stepped up on the stage and spoke with a clear voice that was neither too slow nor too fast, "Welcome everyone, I am Sun Caihong, the host for today's auction. I believe you all are familiar with the way our auctions work so I'd rather not waste anyone's time."
"I welcome you the first item for today— a Spiritual Weapon— the Low Grade Third Rank Spirit Sword!" Sun Caihong said with enthusiasm in her voice
Besides normal weapons, there are weapons refined with spirit ore and metals, giving them tyrannical and unrivaled powers that normal weapons could never hope to compete with, and these kinds of weapons are called Spiritual Treasures.
Spiritual weapons are only used by cultivators with a sufficient cultivation base, as they require the spirit energy to control it. spiritual weapons could enhance one's overall combat power depending on the quality and rank of the weapon.
A first rank spirit weapon can increase one's power by around 10 percent, and a second rank spirit weapon up to 20 percent so on...
The Spirit Sword being showcased was such a Spiritual weapon, and it was a third-rank spirit weapon that could boost users' power up to 30 percent.
"The starting bid for this Sword will be 4000 Low-Grade Spirit Stones!"
"4100 Spirit Stones!"
"4100 Spirit Stones!"
"4200 Spirit Stones!"
Instantly, the crowd began shouting their offers one after another.
Unlike the medicine pills that were one-time used items, the spirit weapons can be used for a long time, the process of refining weapons was also greater and more costly than refining pills that were why they cost more than spirit pills.
A normal first-rank pill costs a minimum of 10 low-grade spirit stones while a normal first-rank spirit weapon costs around 40 to 50 low-grade spirit stones.
After a few minutes of fierce fighting with offers, the Spirit Sword was sold to a wealthy-looking young man, who looked to be a disciple for some Sect, for 5800 Spirit Stones.
Weapons, Martial Arts, pills, and rare herbs were all auctioned and bids were yelled out one after another. It was quite intense. Shi Tian found it exciting, he bought all the spirit herbs causing people to cast some unhappy glances in his direction.
The room was inscribed with a formation to protect the privacy of the occupants so no one knew the room was being used by Shi Tian Yin.
'I made mistake, I should have brought two girls with me, this might excite them.' Shi Tian thought inwardly. He decided that he would bring them next time.
...
While outside, the city was boiling. The news of the fifth rank was going to appear in the auction spread throughout the city. All noble and wealthy clan made their move, rushing to the auction house. A fifth-rank spirit advancement pill was enough to make countless people go crazy over it.
In the Imperial Palace.
The Queen and the Phoenix general were sitting together.
"Yinzi, it is good that you have reached the Spirit Lord Realm but you should avoid taking extreme risks." The Queen looked at Li Yinzi and spoke concernedly.
"Hmm, I know I will keep it in my mind. This time I got lucky." Li Yinzi replied seriously. Although it was fruitful, she almost died in order to obtain the Golden Peach Fruit.
"Her Majesty, Manager Jiao sent an important message." At this time, a servant hurriedly come to her and passed the message to her.
"A fifth-rank Top Quality Spirit Ascension Pill! Increased chances by 90 percent." Both women stand up in shock.
"Yinzi, we need to go to the auction house."
"Yes! We have to."
"But let's go to the treasury first to pick up spirit stones." The Queen said impatiently.
