(6) Side Chapter – 1 – Mirror

I shut the bathroom door behind me as I enter the bathroom, then I close the lid of the toiled with a nudge and drop what I am holding on top.

The bathroom was compact with a single shower, toilet, and sink with a mirror above it.

I decided it was time to look at myself and see what I’d become, so hesitantly, I looked at the mirror.

Looking back is a girl with fair unblemished skin. Long purple wavy hair that flows down until her mid-back covers her head with two discolored chin-length bangs framing her triangle-shaped face decorated with big Lilac-colored eyes and a small nose. One could tell she had just risen from bed by her messy hair and light-pink pajama.

I lifted my hand to greet this girl… but she also raised her’s… It took less than a second in real time for me to register the new reality, but for me, it seemed like minutes. This girl... It was not a mirage, a specter, or even a ghost. This girl was a reflection... a reflection of me.

“Why?” I question bitterly at the sky... “Why did you have to do this!?” I insisted after a few seconds. “I know you are listening, NES!? Yes, you! Come on, answer me, goddess!” I demanded.

…

…

…

…

Nothing. Her answer was nothing.

‘As expected, useless, completely useless.’ I think.

But then I heard a voice at the back of my head.

‘Are you done?’ it asks. I turn around but find no one.

“Where are you?!” I demanded.

‘Right where I want to be. Now, what did you want to know?’

“You know very well what my question was! Why did you lie to me?”

‘*Sigh*. I have a better question for you. Why do you deny it?’ Questions the goddess.

“Deny what?” I rapidly demand.

‘Wanting this.’ She reveals

…

…

“What are you talking about?” I ask her. I had never felt any discomfort of this kind with my old body, at least not that I can remember.

‘Sure, sure. But didn’t you want it sometimes? You know, the pretty dresses, sexy outfits, not to mention the obvious curiosity.’ The goddess teases, and I’m pretty sure she’s messing with me.

“No, never.” I plainly answer the goddess

‘Never?’ She asks again.

…

…

‘What is she talking about?’ I’m at a loss; I might have been curious when I was younger, but that never translated into anything later on in my adult life.

‘*Sight*, fine, I won’t force you to admit it.’ She gives up on whatever she was trying to do.

‘Let me leave you with this. I’m confident you will get used to your new body with time, and eventually, you’ll thank me. So how about you let it happen? Just go with the natural flow.’ She ends with this, and I feel the room getting colder as she stops talking.

I keep looking in the mirror. ‘What did she mean?’ I think as I pass my hands over my soft face, plump lips, and silky hair.

‘Did I want this?’ I seriously ask myself.

At this point, I had started to undress. I didn’t have all the time in the world to keep questioning my identity, so I decided to take the goddesses’ advice and try it out for now. Who knows, maybe I’ll learn something I didn’t know about myself.

I took off my top and my eyes were fixated on my bare breasts. They were big, maybe DD? Or perhaps even E? Unfortunately, the bra I grabbed didn’t have any size information printed on its label, which I found pretty odd. I cupped them and gave them a little feel.

“They’re firm,” I comment. I don’t go as far as to pinch the pale pink nipples. I know it’s an easy way to get aroused, and I have a time constraint, so that’s a no-go.

After that, I proceed to try and slide my panties off. Unfortunately, this task is more complicated than I initially expected. As I pull down, they tighten around my waist. It’s as if they’re resisting getting pulled. After trying for a minute, I give up and go on GlobalNet to find out what’s happening. To my shock, I found out female underwear is usually fingerprint locked…

“Why in all that is holy would you do that?! If someone wanted to get them off by force, ripping them is way easier!” I question this world’s sanity for a moment, then reach for the button-looking circle by my right hip. After holding my finger there for two seconds, the panties fall down on their own.

I use this opportunity to get a better look at my body.

“Fuck… I’m hot.” Is my initial reaction.

My arms were slim with some muscle mass. My breasts were sizable with pale pink nipples, my overhaul body was hourglass-shaped with a waist that might not be hornet thin and lacks muscle mass, but I still find attractive nonetheless, and of course, my upper body compacts down into a beautiful hairless camel toe. I sit down to explore my lower body and eventually start running my hands up my long legs and generous thighs... Finally, I turn around and reach for my firm and ample bubble butt.

“I guess there are worse bodies to get reincarnated into” I comment, appreciating the view.

Unfortunately, I don’t have time to play around with myself like I might have wanted to do right now. So, undressed, I stepped into the shower and set the water to a comfortable temperature. The digital thermostat below the shower head makes this a lot easier.

Showering was a non-issue. The only trouble I had was lathering my long hair with hair conditioner, but that only took time. I dry myself and step out of the shower. Then, grab the underwear I had set on the clothes pile.

First, I put on the panties. They are white and simple. I’m pretty sure they’re even the same type of panties as the ones I just had on. So I slide them up and lock them with the fingerprint. They manage to cover my buttocks well enough. Still, it feels weird wearing panties. They hug the body way more than I’m used to and also don’t cover as much.

I put on the bra, and while I was expecting to have to deal with those little hooks, I was pleasantly surprised when they latched themselves into place after setting a fingerprint. Again the bra is simple but comfortable enough, and at least now that my breasts are adequately supported, their weight doesn’t bother me as much.

After finishing putting on my underwear, I grab the uniform. First, I put on the shirt like usual and adjust the collar; next, I pull the flared red skirt up, making sure to cover it with the bottom of the shirt. Then I take the stockings out of their box and pull them up my long legs; they feel soft actually. To finish, I slip on the sneakers, and when I’m done, they adjust themselves back-to-the-future style.

Fully dressed, I look in the mirror. The result? Well, the shirt hugs my body well, being modest but at the same time showing off my body shape. Based on the picture they gave, the skirt was supposed to reach below the mid-thigh, but it appears shorter than that when I wear it, probably because of the shape of my butt, not enough to be lewd mind you, but a little higher. I find it a little embarrassing to wear a skirt, but considering my current situation, I suspect that’s one of the first things I’ll need to get used to.

Finally, I get a brush and style my hair based on some selfies, not anything too complicated.

After brushing my hair, I grab the duel disk accessories. I attach the belt clip to a place on my skirt that seems to have been made to hold it in and put the wristband on too.

I look back in the mirror and even do a little pose... before realizing how embarrassing it is and promptly straightening up.

“Well, that sure was something.” I comment while walking out of the bathroom.
