Chapter 614: To Fortune’s Gate

Days passed in a blur, and before I knew it, the Nightmare Tower's opening celebration was upon us.

Fortune's Gate was alive with a festive energy. The entire city was decorated with banners and lights, silk streamers dyed in deep crimson, gold, and midnight purple fluttering from every rooftop and balcony.

Lanterns shaped as blooming-Lewd- flowers and stylized phalluses hung in clusters, casting a warm, inviting glow over the streets as twilight painted the sky in shades of orange and violet.

Music and laughter spilled from every tavern and public square.

But this was no ordinary festival.

This was the city of the Goddess of Breeding, and the celebration wore its heart—and its lust—on its sleeve. Public displays of affection were not just accepted; they were encouraged.

Everywhere I looked, the people had given themselves over to the celebration. Merchants had abandoned their usual stalls for temporary booths draped in sheer fabrics, selling everything from enchanted jewelry that vibrated against the skin to oils that left the body slick and sensitive for hours. Street performers danced on raised platforms, many of them nearly nude, bodies painted with... very distinctive lewd symbols and patterns of what divine breeding they came up with.

A pair of twin cat-kin women spun around each other, their tails entwined, breasts bouncing freely while the crowd cheered and tossed coins. Nearby, a male wolf-kin and a slender elven woman were locked in a slow, public coupling against a pillar, their moans mixing with the music; no one paid them more attention than a polite glance and an appreciative smile.

In Fortune's Gate, pleasure was never hidden. It was celebrated.

In the main plaza, the center of my city, I'd constructed a grand, three-tiered platform for this very occasion. On the lowest tier, musicians played a lively, rhythmic tune that made the blood heat. On the second, my most beautiful daughters—wolf-kin, bunny girls, succubi, elves, and even a few striking Valkyries—served drinks and delicacies to the gathered nobles and dignitaries.

Yes, nobles came to visit my city.

From the Freehold of Ardan, from the elven kingdoms, even a few from Vandor came as 'scouts' to see what kind of monster city I built.

I sent an invitation to Prince Alaric, but the Vandor said he wasn't available, which I already knew was because he was busy trying to conquer the dwarven mountains in the north.

It didn't matter. The news of this opening would travel.

But all eyes were on the topmost tier.

A long table laden with food and drink sat there, with five chairs.

One for me. One for my sister Vicky, my blonde bunny Queen Celeste, my dear elven Sylvana, and lastly my firstborn wolf-kin Ember.

Aside from me, these four were the ones who managed my city, and they needed to be seen.

Fortune's Gate will have a council; the final number is still not decided, but for now we have a 'council of five'.

Me as the Messenger of the Goddess and the absolute leader. But you know me as a hands-off boss; I had absolutely no intention of spending every waking moment buried beneath mountains of paperwork.

So all of the city management was in the hands of the other council members.

Victoria will be the one who manages the city's development, infrastructure, and overall strategy.

Celeste will manage the city's logistics and resources.

Sylvana will manage diplomacy, trade, and public relations, and lastly, Ember will manage the city guard and the adventure guild.

I looked at the four of them sitting beside me.

Vicky was already looking bored. My sister can't stay in one spot doing nothing, and with her dragon nature, it was even worse. Her gown was deceptively simple black silk, but it seemed to drink the lantern light, and her crimson eyes held the reflected glow of a hundred festival fires.

Celeste was happily eating a piece of fruit. Her blonde hair was woven with tiny, sparkling gems, and her bunny ears twitched happily as she surveyed the laden table and the joyous chaos below. Her dress for once wasn't made from tree roots or leaves, but a simple, elegant white silk dress that still couldn't hide her curves.

'Fuck... it's been a long time since we had sex; I really miss her root-cock.'

Sylvana took her place beside Celeste, an oasis of elven grace amidst the revelry. Her gown was the green of deep forest shadows, embroidered with silver thread that traced patterns like winding vines. Her posture was regal, her sharp eyes already tracking the reactions of the noble delegations in the crowd below like someone who had already mentally prepared for three hundred diplomatic conversations.

What can I say? As expected from the queen of elves.

And Ember...

Ember was sitting straight-backed in her ceremonial black armor. She did not so much sit as 'occupy' her chair at the table's end nearest the stairs, a position of tactical advantage, like she was ready to personally challenge anyone who dared cause trouble in my city. Her short silver hair was as spiky and wild as ever.

The five of us together were a statement. Power, cunning, nurture, diplomacy, and force. The pillars of Fortune's Gate.

Oh!... I forgot about myself!

Ahem... well, I was in my Valkyrie form with only two white feathered wings.

My silver hair was done in a complex braid, woven with tiny luminescent pearls that glowed like captured starlight. No armor this time, but a gown of crimson and gold, its fabric so fine it seemed to flow like liquid metal. The front of the dress was, of course, in a V-shape deep enough that it almost showed my nipples, my stomach with the cute belly button, and of course my glorious pussy was on full display.

And I did not care.

I am the 'Messenger of the Goddess of Breeding'; what other way to spread her 'message' if not by my own body?

I rose from my seat, the movement fluid and commanding. The Mask of Silence hid my divine aura, but nothing could hide the presence of authority.

The music faded slightly, and a ripple of anticipation spread through the plaza. Thousands of faces turned upwards, their expressions a mixture of awe, curiosity, and raw desire.

"Welcome!" My voice, amplified by a simple charm, rang across the square, clear and strong. "Honored guests from distant lands! Welcome to Fortune's Gate! Welcome to the city of freedom, of opportunity, and of pleasure!"

A thunderous cheer erupted from the crowd. I let it wash over me, smiling.

"You see before you a city that does not ask for your shame!" I continued, my voice dropping to a more intimate, compelling register that still carried to the farthest corners. "It does not demand you hide your nature. Here, we understand that strength comes in many forms. The strength of your arm in the forge or the dungeon... and the strength of your passion in the bedchamber or the street corner. They are not opposites. They are two sides of the same glorious horny coin!"

A roar of approval answered me. In the crowd, I saw a human merchant from Ardan raise his glass in salute, his other hand resting possessively on the hip of a smiling elf woman.

I gestured to the towering black monolith behind me, the Nightmare Tower.

"Tonight, we celebrate!" I continued, my tone becoming more dramatic. "Tonight, the Nightmare Tower opens its gates to adventurers! Within its floors lie riches beyond counting, challenges that will test body and soul, and the chance to carve your name into legend. But a legend needs a place to rest. A hero needs a paradise to return to. And that..."

I spread my arms wide, the crimson sleeves of my gown falling back like wings.

"...is what we have built. A paradise that celebrates all your victories. The gold you win in the depths, and the sweat you earn in the sheets!"

Laughter and wild applause mixed now. The tension among the nobles seemed to ease by a fraction, replaced by a dawning, intrigued comprehension. This wasn't just a den of sin; it was a philosophy, an economy, wrapped in velvet and fire.

"Tonight, we feast!" I declared, raising a golden goblet overflowing with sweet, aphrodisiac-laced wine. "Tonight, we celebrate life itself! Drink deeply, love freely, and let the energy of this night fuel your dreams! For tomorrow, the Tower gates open. And your future begins!"

I raised the goblet high.

"To Fortune's Gate! To Freedom! And to Fucking!"

"TO FORTUNE'S GATE! TO FREEDOM! AND TO FUCKING!" The crowd roared back, a single, deafening wave of sound and desire. The musicians struck up a wild, frenzied tune. The celebration had truly begun. I took a slow, deliberate sip from my goblet, my crimson eyes scanning the scene, absorbing the raw, beautiful chaos I had unleashed.

"Impressive," Vicky murmured, her own lips curling into something that was almost a smile. "Adequate speech. Short. Pointed. Left them hungry for more. I approve, but did you really have to end it with 'to fucking'?"

"But of course," I replied, setting the goblet down. "One must cater to one's audience."

Celeste giggled, her bunny ears wiggling.

"Oh, I liked it! Very direct! Did you see the look on the face of that ambassador from the Freehold? He looked like he was having a religious crisis... and an erection at the same time!"

Sylvana, ever composed, simply took a small bite of a pastry.

"No matter the race, people care about safety, prosperity, and pleasure. You have offered all three, my lady. The speech was merely the spark. The fire you see now has been waiting for fuel."

Ember remained silent, slowly sipping her wine, but her eyes were darting across the crowd, cataloging faces, assessing potential threats. She was enjoying herself, in her own way—the way a wolf enjoys the hunt.

"So?" I asked, leaning back in my chair, my eyes shifting between the four of them. "Should we celebrate in our own way?"

"Oh! I thought you'd never ask!" Celeste's ears perked up instantly. "Did you invite the others?"

"Of course," I grinned. "A big fucking orgy needs lots of participants."
