Chapter 610: Paradise Takes Shape

Returning home with a satisfied and exhausted Augusta in my arms, I teleported us directly to my temple's personal quarters, where we had a wonderful bath with the lovely shark in the pool that turned into a threesome and then a foursome after Rhea—the wild wolf-kin and the 'father' of my firstborn twin—decided to join us, demanding more pups.

I really lost count of how many daughters she gave birth to. The wolf-kin had a very short pregnancy cycle and was very fertile.

Her highest record was giving birth to fifteen pups in a single pregnancy.

FIFTEEN! All girls, of course. All with Rhea's black hair and my red eyes.

Sigh... the wolf bitch immediately left the bath after she had her fun to 'hunt' for new daughters.

Rhea really had the 'mother' vibe that I liked, always wanting more children and always taking care of them.

Augusta, on the other hand, was snuggled against my side, her head resting on my shoulder, her breathing even and deep. She was fast asleep, a contented smile on her face.

I watched her for a while, my fingers gently stroking her fiery hair. She looked so peaceful, so vulnerable. I had to resist the urge to wake her up for another round.

I let her sleep. She deserved it. After all, she had been working her ass off for our little project. And she had been a good girl.

'Herma,' I mentally called out.

[Yes, my goddess?] Herma's familiar voice echoed in my mind, and she was surprisingly polite, calling me goddess.

'How's the new city, 'Fortune's Gate,' coming along?' I asked. 'Is the new identification system for the citizens ready?'

[The city is progressing as planned, my goddess. The main districts are complete, and the initial infrastructure is operational. The identification system is ready for deployment. Each citizen will be issued a sigil upon entry, which will serve as their key to the city, their wallet, and their identification. All will be linked to the central core for monitoring and security.]

This identification system was one of the many precautions we had taken to ensure the city's safety and stability. With it, I could monitor every citizen's movements, transactions, and activities. I could detect threats before they even materialized. I could maintain order and control.

Some call it a necessary evil. I call it a necessary tool to protect my utopia.

The sigil itself was a work of art, a small, metallic disk with my personal insignia engraved on it: a lewd, yet elegant depiction of a cock and a pussy intertwined. On the back, there was a unique serial number that was linked to the citizen's biometric data.

The sigil isn't that important for security; what really matters is the 'magic' that slips inside the individual the moment they receive the sigil.

It's a downgraded version of my blood seal, and with the new map that Lucy sold me, monitoring everyone inside the city limits will be child's play.

The map is a 3D holographic representation of the city and its surroundings, with every citizen, building, and resource marked and tracked.

Citizens are divided into four categories: Green for allies and friends, Yellow for neutral parties, Red for threats and enemies, and Purple for VIPs and guests.

With the sigil and the magic impregnated into them, everyone's intentions and allegiances would be an open book to me.

'Good,' I mentally nodded. 'And how about the slaves from Vandor?'

[All of them have been relocated to the new district, 'The Garden of Freedom,' as you commanded. They have been given new homes, new clothes, and new jobs. They are still adjusting to their new lives, but the initial reports are positive. They seem… happy.]

Of course they are happy. They went from being treated as property to being treated as human beings. They were given a second chance, a new beginning.

A full 20,000 slaves from Vandor. 20,000 souls that we have saved from a life of misery and despair. And it's just the first batch.

My conditions were simple: obey the law, pay the tax, and contribute to the city.

The ones who refused were given a choice: leave or die.

But surprisingly enough, no one refused, which was understandable.

A slave who owns nothing will never refuse a house of their own, even if it's a small one.

Those with skills were given better jobs and better houses. The ones who were good at fighting were given a chance to join the City Guard.

Most of them accepted, especially the non-humans.

Vandor is a kingdom run by zealot humans, and they treat other races like... well, something that must be exterminated.

That alone made Fortune's Gate more important than ever.

This city wasn't merely going to be another settlement.

It was going to be a sanctuary.

A place where humans, beast-kin, elves, dwarves, demons, and every other race could live under the same laws without having to fear being hunted simply because of what they were born as.

And of course, sex is the best part.

No matter the race, no matter the gender, as long as there is consent, anything goes. No more shaming people for their desires. No more hiding in the dark.

Freedom in all aspects of life.

'How are the city guards coming along?' I asked.

[The first group has completed their training. We currently have three hundred and forty-seven active guards.]

'Only three hundred?'

[The city is still under construction, my goddess. The population has not yet reached the point where a larger force is necessary.]

"Hmm..."

I glanced toward Augusta.

She was still sleeping peacefully beside me.

For someone who had spent so much time working on our little project, she certainly knew how to sleep when given the opportunity.

I smiled before turning my attention back to Herma.

'What about the newcomers? Any trouble?'

[There have been several minor disputes, mostly between citizens unfamiliar with one another's customs. However, no serious incidents have occurred.]

'Good.'

That was better than I had expected.

Twenty thousand people didn't simply become a functioning society overnight. They had spent years, sometimes their entire lives, being told that people of another race were monsters. That didn't go away simply because they had a new home.

Still, there hadn't been any bloodshed. That was a win in my book.

'And the housing situation?'

[Not a problem. The City can accommodate up to one million. We have plenty of room to spare.]

That was Vicky's design. She had built my city to last.

While most other cities expanded in a chaotic mess, Fortune's Gate was built from the ground up with careful planning.

Residential districts, commercial districts, industrial districts, recreational districts, even a special district for the 'adult' entertainment.

Everything was separated but still connected.

And most importantly, the city smells good. That's something that can't be said for most other human cities, with everyone pissing and shitting anywhere they like.

I smiled a little at that last thought. Clean streets. Proper sewers. Magic that actually kept the air fresh instead of just covering the stink with perfume. Vicky really had outdone herself when she designed the place.

'Keep the guards on rotation,' I told Herma. 'I want at least fifty of them walking the Garden of Freedom every night for the next two weeks. Soft presence. No heavy hands unless someone actually starts something. And make sure the non-human recruits get the better shifts. They need to feel trusted.'

[Understood, my goddess.]

Why did I directly order Herma and not my twin sister Vicky or my blonde bunny Queen Celeste?

Simple.

I added a floor in the Nightmare Tower that was not connected to the rest of the tower.

A floor that served as the City's Central Command. From there, a dedicated team of my daughters, with Vicky and Celeste's leadership, would monitor the city through the map, manage the sigils, and oversee the guards.

And since the Central Command was built inside the Tower, Herma can communicate with the team inside as if she were in the same room with them.

She even asked for my permission to design a holographic body for herself so she could communicate normally with the team and not speak only inside their heads.

I, of course, agreed and couldn't wait to see what she'd design.

My own little AI was growing up so fast.

I gently eased my arm out from under Augusta's head, propping a soft pillow in its place. She stirred slightly, her brow furrowing for a moment before relaxing back into a deep sleep, a soft sigh escaping her lips. She really was exhausted.

Slipping out of bed, I walked over to the large magical window that overlooked the sprawling expanse of my domain.

Below, the city lights of Fortune's Gate glittered like a fallen constellation. The canals, fed by pure mountain spring water, wove through the districts like silver ribbons, reflecting the glow from the enchanted streetlamps.

In the distance, the skeletal frame of the Grand Colosseum rose against the night sky, a place that would soon host more than just gladiatorial games if you know what I mean hehehe~

It was a beautiful sight.

"Hm?" Suddenly, my senses caught something or someone inside my temple.

A certain dark elf with a familiar presence.

"Oh!... Looks like my favorite dark elf is frustrated," I purred to myself. "I think it's time for her to meet the goddess."
