Chapter 510: Fear?!
Morgana didn't rush to stop the old demon. That would be too simple.
On the contrary, she even asked her Valkyrie daughters not to disturb him. She had a different plan.
She just watched.
She watched as the old demon forced the swirling concoction of stag, unicorn, and hippogriff semen down the queen's throat. Watched Sylvana's body convulse as the raw, conflicting essences—purity, virility, savagery—flooded her system.
The demon's chanting grew faster, more frantic. The glowing red stones flared, the triangle on the platform seared with dark-violet light. Sylvana's skin began to shimmer, the muscles in her arms and legs bulging, her semi-hard cock swelling to an impossible, monstrous size, the golden rings biting deep into her flesh.
She was being prepared. Forcibly made into a new vessel.
Morgana knew what was going on. From the demonic tongue, she realized that the old demon was forcefully opening Sylvana's body to a higher plane of existence, allowing a divine being's soul to take nest inside her body.
'This will be interesting,' she thought, her smile widening. 'A demon god is being summoned inside her body.'
She could feel the raw power building, the very air crackling with it.
However, she completely ignored it and shifted her focus to her Harbingers of Silence. The summoned demons surprisingly put up a good fight and even managed to injure a few of her Harbingers.
This made Morgana angry. Very angry.
"Their training is still lacking," she muttered to herself.
She then took out Hunger from her inventory and commanded the living armor to wrap around her body. Within seconds, Morgana was clad in a black, form-fitting armor that pulsed with a dark, crimson malevolent energy.
The same appearance as her old High Queen armor.
The helmet snapped into place, covering the top half of her face, leaving only her smirking lips visible. Two curved horns grew from her temples, pointing backward like a crown of bone.
Her long silver hair cascaded down her back like a river of moonlight.
"My Harbingers," her voice boomed through the battlefield, amplified by her mana. "I'm not satisfied with your performance."
That was all she said, but her message was clear.
The Harbingers of Silence responded.
"WE WILL NOT FAIL YOU AGAIN!"
Their fighting style changed instantly. They became even more brutal, more efficient, more ruthless. They fought with a savagery that was both beautiful and terrifying.
Morgana flew above them, six long crimson ethereal ribbons of energy trailing behind her, like the wings of some great fallen goddess. Her gaze swept over the battlefield, her eyes cold and calculating. She wasn't just watching the fight; she was learning. Analyzing. Memorizing the demons' every move, every weakness, every strength.
Two of the ethereal ribbons shot down, connecting with two of her Harbingers. They glowed with a dark, crimson light. Then it spread to all of them.
They all got healed in an instant.
She was not just their queen and mother; she was their source of power. Their connection was a lifeline, and she was the heart that pumped their strength.
As long as Morgana lived, her Harbingers were immortal.
The old demon, in the middle of the platform, noticed this. His chanting faltered for a fraction of a second, his yellow eyes wide with dawning horror as he watched a Harbinger that had been nearly torn in half by a four-armed brute of a demon suddenly stand, its wounds knitting closed in a spray of red energy, before it cleaved its attacker in two with a single, effortless swing of its halberd.
"Damn!" he cursed, focusing on the ritual.
The violet energy of the triangle intensified, coalescing into a single, blinding point of light that shot upwards, piercing the night sky.
The platform cracked.
"AHHHHHHH!"
Sylvana screamed, a sound of pure agony and ecstasy, as her body began to change. Her skin turned a shade of dark, corrupted red, her muscles bulged, her bones popped and rearranged themselves. She was being remade. Forced into a new, tall, monstrous form.
The demon god was coming.
"Hehehe~" A giggle escaped Morgana's lips.
'Not yet,' she thought. 'I want to see the newborn god first.'
The violet light in the sky began to swirl, forming a vortex. From within it, a massive, shadowy figure began to descend.
It had no defined shape. It was a writhing mass of darkness, with countless eyes and mouths opening and closing all over its body. It was a being of pure chaos and corruption. A true demon god.
The old demon laughed, an insane, triumphant sound.
"YES! COME! COME MY LORD!" he screamed, his body trembling with religious fervor. "YOUR NEW BODY AWAITS!"
The shadowy figure descended, its countless eyes fixed on Sylvana's transformed body.
Without hesitation, he merged with her.
Sylvana's body arched, her back bending at an impossible angle. Her scream was cut short as her throat bulged, her mouth stretching wide.
Her whole body glowed, the light so bright it was painful to look at.
Then, silence.
The light faded.
Sylvana stood.
She was no longer an elf.
She was taller, her skin the color of dried blood, her eyes burning with the same chaotic energy as the demon god. Her cock was still there, but now it was pulsating with dark energy; the golden rings melted into her flesh, replaced by pulsating veins of black light.
Two bat-like wings burst from her back, tearing through her skin, followed by four black horns growing from her temples.
She was a demon. A god's vassal.
She was beautiful.
"M-My Lord..." the old demon stammered, falling to his knees, tears of joy streaming down his face.
The newly transformed Sylvana turned her gaze to him.
She didn't speak.
She simply raised her hand.
A beam of black energy shot from her palm, hitting the old demon directly in the forehead. However, it wasn't painful for him. He enjoyed it; his god was reading his memories, and surely he would reward him for his loyalty.
"Pathetic," a cold, muscular voice echoed from Sylvana's lips.
"Eh?"
Before the old demon could process what was happening, Sylvana's hand clenched into a fist.
BAAAM!
The fist didn't touch the old demon, but the pressure alone was enough to send him flying back, smashing through several trees before he hit the ground with a sickening crunch.
He wasn't dead. Just unconscious. The god inside Sylvana didn't think he was even worth the effort to kill.
"Years of planning, and you couldn't even prepare a fitting vessel."
Then the demon queen turned her gaze to Morgana.
Sylvana's emerald eyes, now burning with a chaotic, violet energy, met her crimson ones.
And the moment they did—
"!!!" The demon god felt a shock, like an electric current running through its new body. And the more he focused on Morgana's crimson eyes, the stronger it got.
He saw something. Something he wasn't expecting.
A sea of impaled souls.
A throne of bone.
A wall of screaming faces. They were demons. All of them. Millions upon millions.
"F...F....F...F..." Sylvana's body trembled, the demon god inside her struggling to speak.
"Hehehe~... What's wrong?" Morgana's voice was a low, predatory purr that vibrated through the very fabric of existence. "Did you see something you didn't like?"
"FE...FE...FEAR?!!!!!" the demon god finally managed to scream, recognizing the armor the being was wearing.
The sea of souls. The throne of bone. The wall of demons.
They all belonged to a single entity—the one standing in front of him. The one that taught demons what fear truly meant.
She had many names and titles in the demonic realm.
But the one that stuck, the one that made even the strongest demon lords piss their pants, was—
Fear.
They gave her the name Fear.
The reason? Simple.
Demons are born from negative emotions. They feed on fear, anger, and hatred. They are the embodiment of those emotions. They know them better than anyone.
And after a certain incident where Morgana went on a rampage and impaled millions, if not billions, of demons in their main hell dimension, creating The Red Sea of Screams, she became the living embodiment of fear itself.
Those demons in the sea—they were not just dead. Their souls were still there, forever trapped in a state of perpetual agony and fear, forced to relive their worst nightmares over and over again. And the source of their nightmares was Morgana.
And their emotions are being fed into the newborn demons.
So no matter what, they are born with an innate fear of her. Her name, her armor, her aura—it's all baked into their very being.
"Fear?.... FEAR?!!!" The demon god inside Sylvana's body was in full-blown panic mode. He tried to escape, to leave the vessel and flee back to his home dimension.
But he couldn't. The connection was too strong. Sylvana's body was now a prison. And the only way to leave is to use the power source inside the elven palace from the old demon's memories.
"Ara... Ara~ I see you're an old friend of mine," Morgana's smile widened. She flew down and landed softly on the wooden platform.
"I... I would never dare... my lady," the demon god stammered, Sylvana's body bowing deeply.
"Hehe... now that we are properly introduced," she said, walking closer to Sylvana, "let's have a little chat."
She stopped directly in front of the bowing Sylvana. The demon god inside her was so scared that his brain somehow shut down and acted on pure instinct.
BOOF!
Sylvana's body exploded into a black cloud of energy and immediately fled the scene, heading east.
"Tsk... Coward," Morgana clicked her tongue, but she didn't chase after him. Not yet.
"Eir," she called out.
"Yes, mother?"
"Leave one of those demon summoners alive. I have some questions for him."
"As you wish."
