Chapter 462: Before the Journey

"So I just need to do it like this?"

[Yes, Morgana. Just focus your divine energy into the orb.]

"Okay... here I go."

I sat on the throne inside my temple, staring at the nine crimson orbs that were floating in front of me.

Each orb represented a chance, a seed, a Trojan horse, a fucking lust in Heaven.

Yes, these orbs were the nine holy maidens, Luminaries that were sent to Heaven by the Church of Light as an offering to Uriel, goddess of light.

And after more than six months, the result of my work started to show.

"Hehehe~" A wicked grin formed on my face as I watched the orbs. "I wonder how Uriel will react when she finds out that her 'gifts' are carrying my blood."

[She won't be happy.]

"You think?" I replied sarcastically, my eyes glued to the orbs. "Good!"

[However... If our plan works, and they are fully corrupted, you will have nine spies inside her temple. Nine keys to unlock her gate.]

"Hehehe... I can't wait," I said, licking my lips.

This was a long-term plan. A gamble.

A gamble that I was more than willing to take... or fuck.

One orb pulsed.

The biggest one.

Not violently. Not dramatically. Just a slow, steady thrum—like a heartbeat that had finally remembered it was alive.

"Ooooh," I murmured, leaning forward on the throne, chin resting on my palm. "That's new."

The orb brightened, its surface rippling as if something inside had shifted position. Not awakened. Not yet. Just… stirred.

[Corruption integration at twelve percent], Herma reported, her voice calm and precise. [The vessel is stable. No rejection response detected.]

"Twelve percent, huh?" I mused, tracing the glowing crimson with a fingertip. It was warm to the touch, vibrating with a faint, nascent energy. "I think I'm losing my touch. Only twelve percent after six months?"

[The process is delicate, Morgana. This is not a simple infection. This is a fundamental rewrite of a being's essence. You are planting a seed that must grow in secret, hidden from the prying eyes of a goddess. Too fast, and it would be detected. Too strong, and the vessel would break. This is the only way.] Herma's tone was that of a patient teacher explaining a complex equation.

[Moreover, we are introducing the concept of Lust in a domain of purity.]

"Tch... you and your logic," I said with a sigh. "I'm still bored."

But I wasn't. Not really.

This was a different kind of thrill.

The thrill of the long game.

"Ahhh~" I leaned back on the throne, my fingers drumming against the armrest. The orb pulsed again, a little stronger this time, and I felt a thrill of anticipation. This was just the beginning. Soon, all nine orbs would be humming with my essence, each one a beacon of corruption waiting to be unleashed.

Up in Uriel's feathered ass!

"Herma," I called out, my voice echoing in the vast chamber, "what's the status of the others?"

[Orbs two through nine are showing minimal activity. Orb one, however, is progressing faster than expected. Its vessel appears to be more receptive to corruption.]

"Hmm, interesting," I murmured, my mind already racing with possibilities. "Maybe I should take a sneak peek. See what's making it so special."

[I advise caution, Morgana. Direct interaction could alert Uriel to our presence.]

"Oh, come on, where's your sense of adventure?" I chuckled, standing up and stretching. "Besides, I'm the goddess of night and war. A little risk is good for the soul."

I walked over to the orb, reaching out to touch it. The energy was stronger now, pulsing in time with my heartbeat. I could feel it—the hunger, the desire. It was beautiful.

"You like that, don't you?" I whispered, my voice low and seductive. "You like the taste of corruption. Soon, you'll be drunk on it."

I pulled my hand away, and the orb dimmed slightly, as if missing my touch. I smiled, knowing that this was just the start. Soon, all nine would be mine, and with them, a foothold in Uriel's temple.

"Herma, keep an eye on them. Let me know if anything changes," I said, already planning my next move. "I'm going to prepare for the journey ahead."

[As you wish, Morgana. But remember, patience is key.]

"Patience is for people who have a 2-inch cock," I retorted, a smirk playing on my lips. "And as you know, I don't have that problem."

With that, I turned and walked away from the orbs, my mind already on the path ahead.

The elven kingdom.

....

A few hours later, I was standing in the main square, surrounded by my people. Vicky was there, of course, looking as composed as ever, but I could see the worry in her eyes. Leaf was with her, along with Sukal, the centaur chieftain, and a few others.

"Are you sure about this, Morgi?" Vicky asked, her voice tight. "The elven kingdom is a dangerous place. Even for you."

"Hehe." I smiled. Slowly. Calmly. The kind of smile that never reassured anyone who knew me well.

"Dangerous?" I repeated, rolling the word around like it was a flavor I was tasting. "Vicky… sweetie… everything is dangerous to someone. And I... I am dangerous to everything that has a hole and a pole."

I saw Vicky's eye twitch.

Now that I know that my twin sister is obsessed with me to the point that she writes 'I love my sister' in code in her diary, I can't help but tease her a bit more... or a lot.

Next time, I'll fuck someone in front of her and see how she reacts, but I guess she would just breathe dragon fire on me.

I think I should invest in fire-resistant equipment.

Anyway—

"Besides," I added, stretching my arms above my head with a lazy, feline grace. "How bad can it be? From what I read, they spend most of their day deciding which flower arrangements are most aesthetically pleasing to their tree. The only thing I have to worry about is dying of boredom... and the size of my dick."

Vicky's other eye twitched.

Harder.

Leaf very deliberately took one step away from her.

"Morgana," when Vicky uses my full name, I know she's serious. "This is not a joke. The information we gathered is limited, and the political situation is… volatile. The elven matriarchs are not to be underestimated. They have ruled for millennia. They didn't get there by being nice."

"Yeah, yeah, long-lived, pointy-eared, stick-up-their-ass types," I said, waving a dismissive hand. "I've seen their kind before. Usually, a good, hard dicking solves 90% of their problems. The other 10% can be handled with a bigger dick."

Vicky's face was a blank canvas of simmering frustration. It was a work of art. I was so proud.

"Just… be careful," she said finally, the words tasting like defeat. "And don't try to... make more."

She pointed at my belly.

"I won't," I lied, blowing her a kiss. "But who knows~ a little divine breeding might be just what their kingdom needs."

The elves always suffered from a low birth rate. If a couple is lucky, they might have a single child in a hundred years.

I was currently the only one with the ability to solve this. Maybe... just maybe they will accept my cock in exchange for their kingdom's survival.

"Hmph~" Vicky's knuckles, balled at her sides, were turning white.

I knew I was pushing it. But I couldn't help it. It was my last chance to tease her before I left. Who knew when I'd see her again?

According to Sukal and Leaf, the journey will take at least two months on foot, but with my wings, I'll be able to shorten it down to two weeks, maybe less if I flew 24/7.

That's why I'm planning not to use my 'Return' skill to teleport back to my land in the night.

"I'll be fine, Vicky," I said, my tone softening for a second. I reached out and gently tucked a stray strand of black hair behind her ear. "I always am."

Her shoulders relaxed, just a fraction. The storm in her eyes subsided, leaving a quiet, worried sea.

"I know," she whispered. "That's what worries me—HMM!"

I didn't let her finish.

My lips captured hers.

It wasn't the demanding, possessive kiss from before. It was softer, a quick one. A promise of a return. A taste of what awaits me when I get back.

And the effect was... spectacular.

Vicky froze, her entire body going rigid as if struck by lightning. Her eyes, wide crimson moons, stared at me in utter shock. A faint blush, the color of sunrise, bloomed on her pale cheeks.

For a glorious, beautiful second, she was completely and utterly speechless, because this kiss was our first 'public' kiss.

Vicky got used to kissing in secret, and now it was time to raise the bar a little.

'Hehehe~ I can't wait to see how she would react when I shove my cock inside her.'

"I love you, sis," I said, before turning around and dashing, leaving her to process the public display of affection. "BYEEE!!!"
