Chapter 313: Once a Slayer, Now Just Prey (1)
"Ugh!... Do I really have to enter another gate this month?"
Midnight. Walking down the streets was a middle-aged man with tanned skin and a neo-green mohawk. He growled as he dragged himself down the dirty roads checking his balance multiple times on his broken-screen smartphone.
"Money is always short," he sighed, pocketing his phone and staring at the cheap low-quality beer cans he had in his hands. "Still can't get used to this tasteless beer... even beggars don't drink this shit."
As he made his way to his house, the man Sharpy couldn't help but consider what his life had become. A failure in every sense of the word. All because he made one mistake during a gate raid. His party leader kicked him out instantly, and it didn't stop there, no—they blamed him for the loss of some important equipment and forced him to pay them back.
So he had no choice but to seek a normal job, outside of hunting.
Being a hunter had its perks. It paid well, and it came with the luxury of being a hero in the eyes of the public, including the ladies. Due to this, becoming a hunter is the dream of many young adults who seek adventure and fortune. That caused the turnout rate for other jobs that people considered normal to become less and less.
It made sense. Why would you work eight hours a day in a construction job where you could simply enter a gate, slay a few monsters, and earn twice or three times the pay in a single day? The fact that 99% of the people could awaken the Hunter System meant that every single individual had the potential to fight monsters and raid the dungeons.
To compensate for this, the government started paying more for those who decided to work normal jobs, and for many low-rank hunters who didn't like to put their lives on the line but still wanted to earn money. It was a good deal.
As for our dear Sharpy... well, his financial problem was solely because of his poor arrogance and insistence on an extravagant lifestyle with a dozen girls every day.
"Good evening Sharpy," an old lady greeted him warmly waving her hand as he reached the residential complex.
"Good evening ma'am," Sharpy greeted back, a forced warm smile forming on his face, hiding his annoyed expression behind it.
This old lady who he greeted was an old acquaintance of his mother. An acquaintance that just won't die. In her best days, the old hag would have been nothing special, maybe a mid-tier B rank. Now she was nothing more than a useless old hag unable to do anything. Sharpy didn't like her; she was always in his hair like an annoying fly.
However, she was also his landlady. She provided him a place to live for cheap—correction, she was the only one who could provide him with a place to live due to his criminal record, for a few conditions of course.
"Sharpy-chan, don't forget about our tomorrow." She always spoke in a sugary-sweet, devious voice, and that infuriated him so much. "I bought new toys to play with."
"Yes, yes, ma'am," Sharpy quickly replied, walking fast, leaving the old hag behind.
Just thinking about tomorrow sent a cold shiver down his spine, every fiber of his being was urging him to kill, rip and stab that old bitch, but he couldn't. For two simple reasons: first, she's not weak. Yes, she was a 60-year-old woman who had lived longer than most people could ever dream, but she was a hunter. If Sharpy attacked her and failed to end her life in a single hit, the landlady could hold her own ground long enough for help to arrive.
The second reason: he was a coward and an idiot that managed to fuck up his life so badly that he went from being a main hunter in one of the top guilds living an awesome life, to a part-time store worker and full-time play-doll for an old bitch who liked to ruin men's asses with strange sex toys and whips.
"Life sure fucking sucks," he muttered as he turned the lock to his apartment and entered. He threw his bag of cheap beer cans onto the floor then took a can and poured it in a glass cup before chugging down the piss-colored water.
He let out a contented sigh before slumping onto his worn-out couch. He lit a cigarette with shaky fingers, the tip glowing red in the dimness of the room. The smoke wafted upward, spiraling in hypnotic little twisters that reminded him of dungeon fog. For a moment, his eyes drifted toward the cracked mirror hanging askew on the wall, and he saw something moving to his right.
He turned to check but saw nothing.
"Shit…" He rubbed his eyes hard. "I'm going crazy."
Shaking his head, he stood up, picked up all of the beer cans, and walked to his bedroom. It wasn't big or clean. Just four small walls, a desk, and an old bed he used to bang those cheap bitches on. Not anymore. Now this was just his shabby hole, the kind he was meant for. He was a weak loser whose great moments would never return.
He dropped the cans on the desk next to a surprisingly decent laptop. Turning the device on, he clicked on one of his favorite porn sites. A few clips popped on the screen and he chose the top one without thinking or even reading its description and title. A 15-minute clip was more than enough for his mood today.
Or so he thought.
"Shit!"
No matter how much he watched, he simply couldn't enjoy the porno. In his eyes, it was normal and boring. This was due to the old landlady using the entire spectrum of pleasure and pain upon him for the last three months, making him have a permanent addiction to pleasure and pain, and normal was far away from pleasing him.
"There's no other way..." Sharpy clicked out of the porno and launched another site, a dark one he found a few days ago. He smiled when he saw that a few of the videos he personally recorded before his fall were among the top. Every single video that existed on this site was real.
It's not fake entertaining garbage with actors pretending to choke or cry for the camera. No, this site was raw. Real. Painfully, disgustingly real. Each upload had been recorded for its full length. No cuts or edits, and that meant viewers were treated to every brutal scream, gurgle, and bone-snapping thud. The site was for monsters, by monsters. And Sharpy? He wasn't just a consumer. He was also an enthusiastic producer, with few titles to prove it.
"Oh, this girl is good." He began flushing as he watched a familiar video of the girl with pink hair getting beaten and used. "Mmm, fuck... I love it. I love it! It's fucking perfection."
And it was, for a monster like him, however...
"It's missing something..."
His cock was hard but reaching climax was out of the picture, and he wasn't in the mood to use a toy, so that only left him with one option.
"Oh... my dear Nana-chan."
Yes. The videos he secretly recorded during the birthday of the daughter of his former party leader. That girl was everything he lusted and desired. And her father was kind enough to allow him and the rest of the group to use her the way they wanted. And what a birthday that was.
He clicked on the hidden folder, his heart pounding in his chest. The moment the video started, the sounds of screams and pleas for mercy quickly filled the room. Sharpy's body responded in kind. He could smell blood as he saw that sexy pink-haired daughter of that bastard taking two cocks in the ass well.
"Ooooohh.... g-god." A surge of lust jolted through Sharpy's entire body and went straight into his crotch. He grunted and whimpered, moaning like a pathetic pig as he forced his eyes wide to take in every gory, beautiful, revolting second of what followed.
It was a thing of glory to be a part of but to witness was so much better. Hell, he didn't even want to jerk off, just enjoying the show as he drank that cheap beer while remembering all of those wet moans and gasps.
"Oh fuck..!!" Even without jerking off, Sharpy managed to cum hard. His pathetic little cock didn't need more than three minutes of listening to those wonderful screams before it splattered its load against the inside of his underwear.
Creak!
"!!!" Suddenly he heard a strange sound coming from behind, and without hesitation, he picked up one of the old poker cards and threw it at the target behind him at high speed after applying his skill to it.
"Hmm?" When the card hit nothing, he became confused, but then he spotted a small spider fleeing toward the window.
"Tsk, it was just a spider," he growled, annoyed that his moment of pleasure was disrupted by an insect. "Back to the fun."
Returning to the hidden folder he launched another clip, one where he used ropes and his sharp fingernails to tear a deep gouge across the girl's tits.
"Ahh~... Nana-chan.... I need you... Come to Daddy." he whispered as his cock was growing harder by the second. This clip was his favorite, the feeling of having such a beautiful girl underneath his body was magnificent. The sweet soft skin and those screaming cries were music to his ears.
However, Sharpy failed to spot something very important.
In the ceiling of his dark bedroom was a dangerous creature hiding its existence. Half human, half spider, Nana in her Arachne form was watching, her eyes were opened in shock and fury seeing the videos of the gift her father prepared on her eighteenth birthday.
"Death will be a relief for you," Nana whispered as a drop of poison leaked from the edge of her fangs. "I'll make sure you'll suffer first."
