Chapter 311: An Ascended
"You know that you're disrespecting me, right?"
"..."
There was a long pause with nothing but a staring competition between me and my new elf manager.
"Are you serious?" Arwen spoke, pointing at herself—or to be more specific, her clothes.
"Yes," I nodded without hesitation. "No clothes in my land. Every sexy flesh is allowed to express her/his beautiful and sinfully lewd self, especially in my temple."
"..."
The staring competition returned, giving me enough time to examine the elf fully. She wore a black blazer, crisp and tailored to fit tight around the swells of her chest, cinched at the waist like it had been molded onto her skin by divine tailoring.
The white shirt underneath was modest in theory, but those top two buttons undone turned theory into provocation. Her skirt? Please—short didn't do it justice. It was a strip of fabric stretched to its limit, just long enough to legally call a skirt but short enough to threaten every rule in the employee handbook. Her black sheer tights shimmered under the fluorescent lights, drawing the eye down her elegant thighs like a silent command, ending in those savage stiletto heels that clicked like a war drum.
Where did she get them? Well, apparently Arwen had something similar to my inventory, given to her by her creator.
"You want me," she said softly. Not a question—an accusation. Her hand brushed down her own hip like she was inspecting a product on a shelf. "To walk around your so-called 'temple'... like a goddess of sin? Naked?"
"Yes. That's the law." I didn't flinch. I didn't hesitate. My lips were curved in a seductive, sadistic smile, and my eyes were molten hot, and burning.
"Hmm?" Slowly adjusting her glasses, her eyes narrowed. Blue and sharp.
"You're serious." She took a slow step forward, each click of her heel echoing through the temple floor. "And you think this is some kind of… liberation?"
"Liberation?" I repeated, raising an eyebrow. "Not at all, I just want to see naked boobs, cocks, and sexy pussy of the beautiful ladies all day."
"It's a personal kink," I confessed with no hesitation or regret.
"Is that so?" The elf kept walking until she was standing at the foot of the throne. She rested her hands against my knees, bending them apart, her breasts sliding slowly up my body until her lips nearly met mine. The tips of our noses touched, cool breath stirring against my parted lips.
'Oh... someone is a little bold today.' I bit my bottom lip trying to keep myself in control. I respect my contract with the elf and I'm not going to fuck her until she says otherwise. I could wait, I will wait.
"Interesting," she whispered, licking her lower lip slowly like she was savoring the thought. Then she pulled back and snapped her fingers, removing her work outfit and replacing it with a sexy blue one-piece bikini.
"Our contract said nothing about work clothes," Arwen gave me a cold stare mixed with a strange suspicious, and mischievous smirk. "This is the best I could do. So suck it up and let me work."
'For now... Heheheh'
"Work outfit approved."
I gave her a thumbs up in approval, letting out a sound that was equal parts satisfaction and wanton lust as I was blessed with another delicious view. Her sleek curves, long legs, and flat stomach were practically covered in strips of tight, navy-blue fabric.
My hungry eyes traveled across her smooth shoulders and down her arms to the round swell of her breasts, the sexy gap of her navel, and those twin little triangles of cloth straining between her thighs, pulling and tugging and not concealing a thing.
The elastic fabric would no doubt snap like twine at the slightest flex, the sensation of which I could almost imagine between my fingers. I wondered if I should give her a cock? A bulging crotch—snaps were hot…
"Ahem... Time for work, Morgana," she said, her voice rolling me right back to reality.
'Strange, why don't I have the image of a powerful and fearful goddess?' I wondered for the briefest second.
"Sigh... fine." With a heavy sigh, I commanded Herma to project the map of my land inside the temple for Arwen to see, and when she saw—well...
"The land is like shit," she summarized bluntly.
"Ouch." I felt an arrow shot through my heart. I'm a goddess!! Can't she be more... I don't know, gentle with the words?
"I know." With a heavy heart, I had to agree with the elf; she was the expert after all. "That's why I need your help."
"Hmm?..." Arwen didn't say anything and for a full five minutes, she simply kept staring at the map, examining the full terrain with deep thought. I respected her and her consent, and I wanted her opinion.
"Well?" I asked. The suspense was killing me.
"First we have to demolish a few buildings," she said, marking the wolf den, the rabbit hole, and the goblin cave. "The location of the temple, the castle, and this black tower isn't great, but we can't do anything about that."
"There is no need for demolishing, everything is movable."
"Really?" The elf asked, surprised by my words.
"Yes, everything in my land is considered an object that I move, even that lake," I replied, pointing my thumb at the small lake close to my castle.
"I see..." A fire lit up in her cold blue eyes as she started brainstorming new ideas. "You are much stronger than I thought."
"Oh?... Do you have compliments for me?" My lips curved playfully.
"No, I'm being serious," she corrected. "This will make my work much easier."
"Alright... Let's start with the basics." Arwen suddenly clapped, adjusting her glasses and adopting a professional stance. "We need resources and a stable and active source of revenue."
"My scouts found a few mineral deposits. We should mine them," I added, earning myself a nod of approval from the cold-faced elf like a good girl.
"Mineral deposits are good, for now at least." She pulled out a notebook and a charcoal pen, taking some quick notes. Then she turned to me and asked,
"How do you want or imagine your city in the future? Tell me your thoughts."
"Hmm... that's a tricky question," I admitted, tapping my chin in thought as I imagined many... Come on, you know me, my pervert brain could only imagine the city being one giant fucking brothel with millions of cocks and pussies.
Sob... sadly a kingdom can't run on just cocks and pussies... Well, I can make it happen if I really want to... buuuut it wouldn't be healthy or functional. Moreover, if something happened to me, the entire thing would collapse.
"My goal is to build a strong, self-functioning, and profitable economy," I began my explanation, looking up to the ceiling with a small smile on my lips. "A city with millions of people, built as layer upon layer of smaller interlocking districts, with each layer doing different things, serving different needs, and creating value. And yet despite the massive size of each and every city district, it all functions as a single large working mechanism."
"Interesting idea," Arwen spoke, taking more notes. "I noticed that you have many races among the citizens. How do you want me to handle their residential areas?"
"Each race has its own district, or let them mix as they wish."
"Hmm?" I took a moment to think about that.
While giving each race its own unique district would be the most simple solution, in the long run, there would be social and logistic problems. Some races would view themselves as superior to others. Even with my 'Offspring Loyalty' skill and the fact that everyone is related by blood, problems could still appear in the future, like what happened with my two wolf daughters.
"Let them mix as they wish. We would only design districts in general and with racial characteristics in mind, giving more options to everyone," I replied at last after giving it a real thought.
"Alright," the elf accepted my decision. While she was taking notes, I commanded Herma to use the temple system we designed, giving Arwen access to the map and all of the buildings in my shop, so she could customize with ease.
"That's all for now," she said with a satisfied sigh, closing her notepad and tossing it in her inventory space. "I need to see the land with my eyes. Send me down please."
"Send you down?" I tilted my head, confused for a second.
"Yes, send me to your world," she explained calmly, adjusting her glasses once more. "The castle will do."
"Huh?" I was even more confused. I raised my hand, pointing at the door in the distance. "You're already there, just walk through that door. Come, I'll show you the way."
"You're joking, right?" She deadpanned at me, adjusting her glasses again. "Gods can't just simply 'walk' to their world."
"But I can." I was puzzled by her statement. I stood from my throne, walked a few steps, and extended my hand toward her. "If you want, we can go right now."
"IMPOSSIBLE!" she exclaimed. Her shout echoed through the temple, her voice spiking like a whip crack, sharp and absolute, bouncing off the vaulted ceiling. "No god walks their realm like a mortal without using an avatar. It's a universal law!!"
"Really?" I blinked, momentarily stunned by her intensity. Then I looked down to my divine body. "That I can do whatever I want?"
"HOW!" Her voice raised even more. I was surprised she didn't break something.
"I don't know, maybe because this land was mine before I became a goddess—"
"AN ASCENSION!!" she yelled again, this time her blue eyes shone bright. "YOU WERE A MORTAL!"
"Yes," I nodded.
"..."
Arwen froze. She kept staring at my crimson eyes without blinking or breathing, her jaw dropping and her long elf ears twitching. Her cold professional attitude was gone. Then she raised her right hand and saluted me like a soldier.
"It's an honor to meet an Ascended God."
